    Don’t know if you realized it yet but they did account for the arms and how far the shield sticks out. Turn the bottom part of the arm to where the arm gun is behind and stick the shield on the side.

    I wonder if you or anyone in the comments have had issues with the legs polycaps being to flimsy even when finished building, I can at least say I've had my G04 built for a year but didn't pose as much bc the polycaps held it back from posing, but my G05 immediately had the same issue's from my G04's polycaps (note: I bought them both from P-bandai US).

      Hm, it doesn't seem to be like that for either of mine, though for that type of P-shaped polycap, I've had some that split open, so take a look if yours have torn. If that's the case, I bet getting something to sand down the peg to make it just a little skinnier will help, or else replacing it with a new one might end up popping again

    oh I want them they look marvelous, but I do agree on the pale rider parts being the bane of these two. I have the Pale rider Cavalry and its only big problems comes from the non colour accurate sensor of the beam rifle and the weird shild, tho I will say the stickers the Pr Cavalry gives you are way differant that the ones on the G04/5. Btw did you have any particular thoughts on the safety nubs for the sheild? Nice review as always lad!

      I'd almost forgotten about those big safety flags at the tips of the shield if you didn't bring it up. They looked ugly enough that I took them out while building the kits. Even without them, I don't see what danger the tips pose.
      I wonder if the Cavalry's frame launcher is the same one as the one from the Origins Heavy Gundam

      @@HobbyClubhouse It probably shares some parts on the model kit, but in the case of the actual weapon, I'm pretty sure they're different.
      If only because I don't recall the Heavy Gundam having a Mega Beam Launcher at any point.

      @@HobbyClubhouseIt is not the Cavalry's Shekinah is a brand new mold and is fantastic in colour separation, a very nice accesory.

    Ok, we have all 7 RX-78s in model form(Minus RX-78-01, but I ain't really bothered with that one.), can we PLEASE know what Unit 8 looks like now?!

      That's some deep-cutting lore:) I'm actually half glad it hasn't been spent by later tacked-on stories as some forgotten history super weapon

      Maybe we might see the rx-78-8 in the new life action movie?

      It'll be good enough if they don't break anything. They probably shouldn't be pulling crazy stunts like filling in canon... I'm getting chills just thinking about it

    • @Bobert2020
      @Bobert2020 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HobbyClubhouse it might be a side story or it's own universe but I'm hoping that it's at least a owy side story since it has lots of possibilities for a new gundam

      @@Bobert2020 I just hope I don't die from disgust from seeing it.
      They have an American comic book writer writing the script so I'm already 100% certain it's gonna be utter dog-shit along side a massive dose of ham-fisted ideological babble shoved down our throats.
      Like most American products are these days.

    Huh so unit 4 and 5 are pbandai along with unit 6, only unit 2 and 7 are normal release and unit 1 and 3 are more special cases as G3 did get a HG revive but was an expo exclusive, hope we see the G3 and unit 1 in the early grade line tho

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, when you see these kits, you'd think they'd be a good fit for a regular retail release (and so would the Unit 6, that kit's so good)
      I'd be up for any kit of the Prototype Gundam in 1/144

      Unit 1 is now available as a variation of the RX-78F00 version (Yokohama Exclusive) with some extra utilities.

      @@HobbyClubhouse Yeah but... how widely known about are these things?
      I never even heard of them until the Pale Riders release(Or any of the other Missing Link MS for that matter), so you have to wonder how popular these two really were.

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bet most people have only seen it as models and figures. Even the games are pretty niche

    • @MasterSwo
      @MasterSwo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HobbyClubhouse I agree.
      And I'm betting that niche nature and lack of widely available information(At least, on the level of suits from the animes) probably means folks aren't as committed to buying them.
      And that seems to be the case for a lot of P-Bandai kits in recent months.
      After all, apart from the grunts, what main stream MS haven't received a HG model yet?
      Only ones that comes to mind for me is the Gundam Leopard, Virsago, and Ashtaron from Gundam X. (I'd include the Wing Gundams to but Bandai seems to be on the way to fixing that right now if the release of Deathscythe is anything to go on.)
      But once those 3 are out of the way... what's left?

  • @ezhumbug
    @ezhumbug 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I guess the MGs still beat them for more color separation and MG G05 ammo belt being optionally long with 4 copper wire. I wonder if Bandai should've made the pale rider a 1/100 since most parts to make it are there in MG, except for pale rider parts.

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man, don't give Bandai any ideas. They've already spammed the HG Pale Rider mold to death, their eyes will light up when they realize they can do the same again with MG kits on PBandai

    • @ezhumbug
      @ezhumbug 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HobbyClubhouse LOL true, although for me its wishful thinking, I like to see how they would put the HADES System without foil stickers. Then again being Bandai, they won't go above and beyond.
