Utube has wrecked some good channels. I really hate what they've done over the past couple years. The world needs a new platform.
They don’t want young minds to develop outside the corporate norm !!
TH-cam is all about covering up what a real family looks like! That's all this is about!!
It’s so sad to see the depravity that has taken over American media! 😡😤 It’s why I don’t watch American TV or movies anymore. And it’s why I prefer to watch TH-cam channels such as this. I live in Japan and although it’s not perfect it’s far more civil than most top tier countries. Thank you, Rhodes Family!
This is necessary, I can see why you would have to book an appointment with a lawyer... This is a great disappointment and time consuming for yourselves. It seems a bit of an overstretch from a creator's point of view. Very limiting for you... BitChute is another platform that creators are using to put up video content.. Have a look.!! Less of an overstretch is preferred by some... It seems to have fewer restrictions and a reward system in place. Not everything is family viewing...
I wondered when this was coming. You've no idea how much joy your family brings to me. I've never watched TV or movies, or subversion as I like to call it, but I like anything gardening/homestead/kids related. This sounds so weird, but I've honestly grown to love your family, especially those awesome kids. It's so nice to see something so honestly wholesome.

COPPA is bunk! Kids programs on TV have had and still have commercials geared to them. Is that a double standard?

We just made the same decision for our other channel and because we want to retain the family friendly audience, we added a disclaimer. On a brighter note; the young master builder leaps forward to his own shop! Well done. Isn't that the way growth is, one day you seem to be standing still and then whoosh you've jumped forward ;)

I hate that criminals are making things so much harder on the amazing content creators. I hope you don't have to continue approving every comment. I know they help your channel and want to do everything possible to continue seeing your videos!
Don't worry too much. We will be going through a bit more of a rough patch, but TH-cam is about to be beaten into submission by more than one U.S. state, the entire EU and the TH-camrs Union (FairTube). TH-cam refers to all content providers as employees, there is a big stink with them breaking the laws of employee basic rights etc. Any way..., Peace, Love and Light to you all!!!
I will watch no matter what platform you guys go to I'm a faithful fan you guys don't understand how much you guys have improved the way I look at life since I started watching your movies....

Start moving your vlogs cause from what i saw you can't trust youtube so what i wish you do is to start moving your vlogs and work on your audience to a diffrent platform and grow your audience cause when crap hit the fan you will have matirial you can offer to new comers

Yeah your channel is not targeting children. I'm not a expert but I would assume targeting children would be like toys and anything that is made for kids. Family friendly is different so you should be good.

If you do leave youtube do patreon i know i would pay a few bucks to watch you. I never get tired of watching you and yours. Your channel brings so much happiness even to non homesteaders like myself. The only thing i can keep alive is a philadendrion and a small rescue long haired Dodson. But it's my dream to own a homestead.
Don't ever leave You Tube. What will I watch. We all want too see your kids grow up and become teenager's.And take over the farm. I would miss seeing your kids they steal the show.

We love watching your videos with our kids, as your kids are good examples of hard work, respect, respecting and caring for animals, and helped us show our kids what we were thinking of doing. We just got a poultry netting and want to get chickens and pigs and helped us talk to our kids about our plans to clear our brushy pasture.

We’ve bought several of your learning videos. You need more easily accessible info about your membership. Like a link in every videos. With a main page with info on it.
I found you from you tube suggestion from Art and Bri. From looking up info on chickens. I had NEVER considered pigs in a MILLION years! Hahahaha and now I’m looking to do crazy things! Our kids were swarmed by wasps this summer (my 4 year old was stung so many times, I stopped counting after 70). So we HAVE to take charge of this property.
Farm life is Adult entertainment the way I see it... You teach us Adults and if we wish to use your content to help teach our kids your ways we would be right there watching with them cuz... Well you show farm life mating and butchering but this is not for all children... And any child will have questions and needs a parents guidance not just watching you by themselves

TH-cam has been a great go to learning platform for me and I am sure many others. A shame that this might affect that adversely

I don’t think your channel should be affected by coppa or any policy since your talking ok farm land and things alike. You should be fine, but I could be dead wrong.

Some are using bit chute and tube. That is their security of saving their content.
I think your channel is fine based on what I’m hearing about broad audience channels being safe. But check with everyone just in case since it is a concerning change. Your channel does feature your children.
Have you heard of BitChute? Its a similar platform to be a back up, they dont monitize but due to your following you could have specialized sponsors.
Also consider Facebook and uploading to that. You can still make money (I know TH-cam is your main source of income) through ads just like on TH-cam.

I was just bragging about Your beautiful children to gramps (my hubby) . So respectful they are. The way it used to be in our day of growing up. To heck with the new rules that will hurt the good family channels. God is still in charge. He already is supplying your needs. Keep doing what your doing and we will keep watching and sharing . Go ahead and add your videos to bitchute and some of the other platforms that way you can get views there too and it might make up for where you're losing a lot of views on TH-cam I can't remember what the other one is but bitchute is one of them. You can have them on multiple platforms and it's a good Back-up Plan I'm seeng a lot of political people that do news that have branched out to multiple platforms they are still on TH-cam and that is their main Channel but some of them when you upload the TH-cam automatically uploads it to the other site I think that is bitchute but I'm not sure but that's what I would do if I were you have itt on multiple platforms. That way if something with ever happened to TH-cam then you already have an audience on another platform

You and your family have really impacted me and I would like to thank you all.
You guys and people like you are the ones who creat that large audience that marketers want to target towards their product. TH-cam is nothing without people like you in the first place.
Why have you tuber vlogs not contacted your senators asking them to contact federal agencyfor a ruling coop. Ask for a written answer. It is a big waste of time for every channel with kids telling us as we can't help. I would have made contact with my senators long before now.
