This kit is actually amazing, I personally feel this kit got so much love because the Noname was underwhelming and the astray lovers were hurt by its underwhelming design. I love the height, the Leo style joins, the Buring and denial double balljoint in the center waist. do much good in this kit, definitly need one now.

The only thing missing for HG Gusion Rebake is a transformable head without a head-swap. This is now a good implementation for the future upcoming Post Disaster Era kits: aka revived IBO kits. One more thing on Reverso Transformation mode: The thigh legs itself has to be folded squat completely, because it is shaped like Demon Legs and hoofs.
the reverse mode took resemblance of lupus rex but in different way, this is really cutting edge design for hg line.. if they made this kit to MG line, it would be really hit differently

So I thought that I would make a list of 7 favourite gundams... Each one from a different series... And I ended up adding 2 astrays in it.. (red frame and lord astray omega)... And almost stopped myself from adding a third one..

That being said, all three units perfectly demonstrate how IMO the author no longer cares about coherent writing in his works and just wants to include cool designs (and characters) at the expense of lore.

A year ago people didn't believe me that the no name and the load astray weren't based off the astray omega well.... guess who just proved his point when the new p-bandai kit coming out!!!
I've been waiting for this review for so long! I see other people upload a review of this but I just needed to wait for yours😆. I was quite interested in the kit at first, but it looks too complex and the 'beast mode' looks like a failed counterfeit barbatos lupus rex design. But I think I'll get it and ditch the armour for that cool astray skeleton underneath all the fancy stuff

I love those simple joints. They are probably going to be using them a lot since it's so easy to make a very simple split looking joint like the Leo's knee.
My first thought about this thing when it was first debuted in Re:Rise was that I wanted this thing. Waiting for it to become more available, but it looks awesome. The IBO side of things never got much love in the Build series. Only two in total, that being the Galbaldy Rebake and now this. When in the reverse mode, it's got a more animal aesthetic like the Barbatos Lupus Rex.

The thing I love about your review style i that it really answers a lot of the questions most would-be buyers of Gunpla kits (like me) have about the item being featured. It also helps that you consider the amount of fun we would get in building the kit, as well as and the ease with which it can be built. I also love the little nitpicks that most of us have about Gunpla like color separation, loose parts, and the abundance of color-correcting stickers. With this kit, I do like the design; as it has a very sinister vibe to it, but that transformation....uh, never mind. Not a bad-looking kit as either its Astray base form or Armored form, but I'd rather invest in another 30 MM Ground-Type Alto or one of the other Re:Rise kits. Maybe if I had some spare cash...but still, Brilliant review!!!
I got this as my first kit and mainly watched the vid to see the other forms. I'm happy that I've purchased the ones that might branch out to other kits which I would get as well.
my heart sank when I noticed the nubs on this, I adore the design so much (although the transformation isn't incredibly flattering) but cleaning surface nubs gives me PTSD lol.
With that new Astray underneath it all, I hope that means we might get a HGCE (revive) Astray, and all its variants, in the future. I am one of the people that bought this kit just for the purple astray lol.
To be honest the Load Astray Double Rebake reminds me more of the Mirage Astray Frame, mixed with the No-Name, and a Gundam Frame from IBO. The reason I said the Mirage Frame more then the other two. Is due to the Mirage Frame switching from normal mode to a close range offensive mode with the Gladiator mode. Plus the inner frame of this Astray is a light lavender which is a light purple. And the Astray frame had a violet/purple color for the frame.
the Load Astray Double Rebake is basically Gundam's version of the Mazinkaizer SKL with the double pilots who can switch between who's controlling the thing but unlike the Mazinkaizer SKL this transforms according to who's piloting it instead of just a change in fighting style, lol
Yeah it is cool already it's looks like a ninja. I think the armor is kinda base on the astray no name and the reverse mode is from the barbatos. I mean it kinda reminds me of barbatos in a way.
It's nice to see better articulation on that kit than the no name, I honestly thought that it has the same articulation as it's predecessor, but it seem I'm mistaken. Good Review as always!
Right before you mentioned 30MM at around 2:45 or so I was just thinking how cool it would be to get an astray line of 30MM kits. Just imagine being able to vastly customize and create your own astray....

Kind of want this repainted as a Red frame. Paint all purple part into a dark or metallic red and the chest plate into a metallic black. And paint some of armor pieces partly black and red but of course save some white

Load Astray double rebake and Astray no name are based on Gundam Lord astray Omega but the gundam lord astray omega have the armor version which is like the load astray double rebake and the no armor version like the Astray no name, so it is basically based on gundam Lord astray omega but it is based on in a manga series called mobile suit gundam seed astray: princess of the sky.
Bruh idk why Bandai had to cut corners, like they could've made the white stickers as giant white pieces, and the yellow stickers as actual yellow pieces. I'm still glad they give attention to the astray mixed with ibo elements

when I see the mode change of the Load Astray, it reminds me about Mirage Astray 2 and 3 forms
