Yeah I've seen this retcon before and it's absolutely ridiculous... Someone speculated that the name needed censoring when it became popular due to the kit, kind of like God and Deathscythe back then Is this censorship still a thing in 2021/22?

The lord omega is actually an upgraded normal lord astray gundam which is what the no name is i wish they actually made a normal lord astray to go with the omega
At the moment all of my older kits are all in storage til I can move to somewhere with more space, so that means any HGs or RGs I have are not really accessible for the moment. Hopefully if I do fins a new place I can have dedicated areas to each show/universe, so I can do full comparisons against the whole available line of kits!

In addition to this one there's also the Extreme Gundam type-LEOS Eclipse Face (should be Phase), and interestingly the P-Bandai listing for the Dryon III used the name Gundam Dryon Drei, while the box uses Gundam Dryon III, both names seem to be interchangable.

I'm still stuck with Gundam Breaker Mobile. Mostly because I don't like SDs. Or atleast don't want to be forced to only use SD. If anything I LOVE some of the SD designs, but the proportions ruin it. They need make more regular sized SD designs...
Reminds me a lot of Drift from Transformers. The color scheme, the red patterns, and especially that lion head insignia looks like an Autobot symbol if you squint enough. Give it the Red Frame's sword and it's be perfect lol Might have try and grab one, first Astray I've seen I've been interested in.

I opted for PC because of the price. The way I've been playing it is by using the available suits in each stage and only adding series-specific mechs I get to support them.
Did you get the game from the Japanese eShop? I'm still salty that it isn't available on the Western ones. At least the new game, which I will be picking up, is available here, and somehow even slightly cheaper than on Steam.

Fun fact: Lord Astray Omega will win over Barbatos because of rare metal Omega. However there is a weakness, that is the lower body is not made of the rare metal because of an incident that happens in the princess of the sky, you see the original plan for this gundam is a complete made of rare metal. If your wondering where is the other half of the rare metal omega, that part goes to the gundam astray gold fram amaterasu's lower half which is the upgraded version of the gold frame amatsu hana.

God, I wish Bandai made square sections on the handles of more weapons. The guardian shield on the GM Guard Custom having cylinders for its handles will never stop bothering me.
@@MechaGaikotsu That kind of stuff is really cool to see, but it's also kinda agonizing to know that they *can* do it (and do it very nicely, no less), but that they either forget or just choose not to for whatever reason. The IBO kits suffer from that a lot more than they have to - especially considering the Barbatos HGIBO kit actually solved that issue from the beginning.

If you like transformable giant sword, I'd like to recommend Kotobukiya's M.S.G. Knight Master Sword. I built it in the Bullet Knights Executioner Bride, and it was amazing! Not only can it combines with a shield, but the sword itself comes with a display stand. Clear parts also look great on it, I bought another M.S.G. because they're in different colors! (Yellow and Blue)

So yes, the correct name is Lord Astray Omega. At this point I think they've kept it either as an inside joke or just to see people's reactions. That, or they just don't want to admit they messed up.

I love the look but for the price this thing is definitely bronze tier. It can’t even hold its main feature It was falling apart the entire review And it doesn’t come with any extras from the old Astray kits.
Have both the Cross Rays and Genesis SD Gundam games on Switch they are genuinely addicting. Also have Super Robot Wars 30 those kind of turn-based tactics-on-a-board games just speak to me
i like Astray design and this one looks cool, even better than Red Frame in my opinion. I just wish it was a MG because I'm not into HGs (unless it's an exception like Mercury protagonists one)

let me say 2 things! 1 the kuffs on the arm! anoying as Shit! My solution is to reverse them, they still fit and they free the hans for better poses! 2 like said in the video i got some build hands painted black on mine. Had to do some modding for the new hand to hold the large sword. bonus. the red is nice but if you put some metallic red on it and gloss topcoat it it looks way better. And a small kitbash(and paint) with hg amatsu series for the feet with pointy tips it gives it a new vibe.
I think you should show the leftover parts in your videos. I'm trying to do a kitbash but don't know what kit I should be buying that would contain the parts I might need. Would really appreciate it if you do so in future videos.
I have a recommendation for a Review: Gundam (gframe14) Gm command type. It is a candy toy, but it is very cool. In the United States, it'll come in a box with a basic static frame, the armor, weapons, and then an articulable frame for poses. I think that in other countries, however, you have to buy the static frame that comes with the armor separately from the articulated frame and weapons.

yeah those knee joints really kill the posing fun on this kit. partly due to the design but I think it was a missed opportunity for Bandai to redesign the knee on this for this release given that it was already a present issue with the rebake

They did it very tastefully on this kit. I didn't' even notice it at first because it's only squared off on 2 sides, and very subtly at that!
