Yes, Robbie's personality is phenomenal. I know that he has made a video about how he mispronounces words so that viewers comment and that he feels he has a poor education but wtf, Robbie is California with his lazy drawl, his "hey dude" persona, and his cheerful, passionate delivery about everything garden - Joanie is lucky to have him as a friend (and vice versa - both of them a dynamite on film - pure charisma).
So nice! I bet Janey wanted to do a tour after Robbie has those 3 great tours recently... lol - just kidding, I know you are friends! You both are great, in your own ways and I love watching you both - but I will say, I saw Janey first and she introduced me to Robbie - Thank-you! I love to see the two of you collaborating - it's so fun!
Robbie and Janie! Always a treat to experience your friendship - gardening. Monty Don is a God, I agree! Thank you for sharing your Zone 9B (Northern California) expertise with me (Martinez).
Robbie your garden is so very beautiful. Janey thank you for showing Robbies garden from your point of view I absolutely love when you and Robbie get together. Its always a blast.❤❤
We love, love, love you two so much! ❤❤️ We get so excited when we see videos with both of you featured! You’re both so entertaining and we love how you support one another.
I live in Aotearoa/NZ, and that pittosporum is one of our native varieties -- kohuhu is a Māori word and in this way, the plant's original name. They also do great being trimmed into topiary shapes -- cones, squares, or rounds. Some varieties grow in more rounded/etc shapes, too, but do well with shaping. They're beautiful open and informal as you have htem, but can also be used in a very formal way. :)
Robbie: The bush on your neighbors property is a pyracantha. Keep it cut back. It’s also an aphids magnet, but I’m on the coast and is much cooler. The birds love the berries. Enjoy your videos .
I love his GARDEN!!! it has a little bit of EVERYTHING even a bird house. LOVE LOVE LOVE everything! I watch his channel too! He is adorable.( good heart!💙)
Hi Robbie, I loved seeing your garden the way Janey presented it. I never really appreciated how beautiful it really is. WOW! You should have a walk through every month. 👩🌾🥰🦩🌹🌺🇺🇸
Robbie’s garden is just gorgeous! I love that Alder tree. I need one in my garden somewhere. Also I had NO idea you can get bare root ornamental trees! Thank you both for the early morning laughs 😊
I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than 100% out of money at this point! Loving the update tour! The Vitex is deciduous and won't leaf out until the end of May. In fact, you'll think it's dead. The one I have is a deep purple. It was a 2 gallon about a foot tall last year and this year it's 4' tall. It'll get to be 10-12' when it's full grown.
I love this tour. Coming from the Midwest & thinking it’s sunny & hot here I am put in my place when I hear things like growing a snowball viburnum in full shade. I have macrophylla hydrangeas & heuchera in full sun 😂
Love that y’all keep it real , I’m broke too , but I always have a little bit for plants😂😂😂😂 thanks for showcasing Robbie’s garden , he’s soooooooo darn cute❤❤❤❤❤
You are both the sunshine in my day. I LOVE your channels, thank you both so much for bringing such joy and also great learns into our lives. I am in the UK, so I also learn a lot about zones, different plants and different ways of coping with your surroundings and seasons AND goffers!
Oh my gosh the view of the silver berries back towards the house is amazing! I can’t wait to see the new grass garden paths and patio, that’s going to be beautiful. Robbie, how will you water your grass paths? I think it’s such a great idea!
What a beautiful garden. Immense changes. Robbie should be so proud. Terrific information about the step-over apple trees. Something I'd love to incorporate into my garden.
Janey, your husband seems to be handy; have him work on replacing sections of your fence 💪🏻 Robbie has some great plants. I think adding the ‘garden rooms’ will further elevate his yard.
Very peaceful. Great job Robbie. Also with all that beauty that you have in your oasis, I was surprised to notice how you chose to make lemonade out of the lemony situation of a power pole that happened to fall in the middle of your garden bed, and painted it out like the fence to blend in. What an ingenious idea. I'm stealing that one, for sure. Thanks for the tour.
I just watched this and so enjoyed it! I didn’t watch when you first did it because I thought I knew your garden……no…….Janey was right! You really don’t show all your garden like this because you see it everyday. Great job you too!
That was such an enjoyable video. Robbie needs you to present his garden. It’s so beautiful! And his videos doesn’t do his garden justice. He is so knowledgeable has such good taste . ❤
Glad to know I am not the only one who can't sow seeds directly into the garden. I feel the same way about seeding in trays beforehand, much more success. Zone9b ugh the heat that is coming, and can't water enough to keep them going.
Janey, please tell Robbie to watch a garden tour on Y Garden channel of a landscape that she designed, it has the most wonderful hidden patio exactly what he’s talking about. It would be the best inspiration for a future project. Love watching you two.
That bush could be euonymus. Serrated leaves, little yellow flowers, grows occasional long wild branches and loves to be covered in powdery mildew. One of the staple bushes in older neighborhoods. You can prune it as much as you want; you can't kill it. I've tried.
Brilliant!! Using Japanese Anemone for cut flowers! I have so many, now I know what I can use them for. They are so prolific in my garden, I will never run out! Thanks for the tip, Robbie!
The river birch…. I’m not seeing the beautiful vicuña colored peeling bark that I’ve had on mine. Might it be a different variety? And yes, Robbie’s garden is magical. He has a wonderful way of creating a peaceful space. ❤ Go Robbie! Thank you this was just fabulous.
Hi Janey and Robbie! The tall shrub on the fence looks like a Euonymus. I didn't read all the comments, so someone else may have already mentioned it. I love Robbie's garden! I love a cottage garden, but I no longer have the time for it. But my heart goes pitter patter every time I see it.❤
My favorite thing about your videos is you give a lot of wide shots which a lot of people forget that and focus on individual plants but the best part to me is seeing the views and what the gardener has done to bring it all together. The overalll feel and style.
Beautiful! Robbie, you just keep making it better and better! Loved Janey’s idea about the zinnias by the rooster. Robbie, have you considered getting a cord cover for the fan cord hanging down by your front door? You could then paint it so it would “go away.” Maybe a little something for Brent to do!😉
Hi! I’m in Va beach and we have honeysuckle that grows naturally in our area. It is not invasive at all. My home has honeysuckle suckle that line 3 sides and it has never spread past the fence line and I don’t cut it back! Fills up the whole yard with wonderful pollinators and that signature honeysuckle scent. We have so much I want to make perfume haha. If there is something that you want in your garden just check and see if there are noninvasive species. We have nurseries that do sell honeysuckle!
Your garden is absolutely beautiful! I love the gazebo area, it looks so relaxing. Could you tell me more about the ceiling fan as a think that is so smart. Where did you get it and how do you attach it so it doesn’t wobble?
Wow is that garden amazing!! It’s so cozy! And I just love how you two interact, you guys are just the cutest! Everyone needs a gardening buddy/best friend to laugh with 🥰
I’m here for the garden tea! Can’t wait to see Robbie and Brent’s fall updates to the garden, it’s going to be amazing! It’s lovely to see these garden tours and watch as you share the appreciation for all the gorgeous plant and flower combinations!
I agree with you Janey, Robbie does have such great taste! His garden is as lovely as his personality! 🥰🇨🇦
Ditto! 🥰🌸🇨🇦
Robbie is super cool, real and fun. Beautiful garden/yard Robbie...keep on keeping on....hit the big time buddy.
You two have the most fun garden channel 😀
I wish I had a garden friend like you 2 so much fun!
I didn't realise Robbie's garden was so beautiful...thanks Janey
If you don’t already, we highly recommend following his channel, he’s so entertaining. 🤗
Even more beautiful than I’ve seen! 🥰🌸🇨🇦
Thank you for teaching us about bare root trees. This is a game changer…yay!
Robbie and Janie! Always a treat to experience your friendship - gardening. Monty Don is a God, I agree! Thank you for sharing your Zone 9B (Northern California) expertise with me (Martinez).
You & Robbie together are so fun!
Always love you two together!
Such a beautiful garden! I love how you share ideas with each other, so fun! ❤
Robbie's garden has changed so much since last year. The back yard is so much more open and I love the plans he has for the future pathways
Morning! His garden feels like home❤️
I always laugh so hard when you two are together! Beautiful garden Robbie!
Omg this cannot be the only video you do with him! It’s so much fun hearing you guys and the energy.
Robbie your garden is so very beautiful. Janey thank you for showing Robbies garden from your point of view
I absolutely love when you and Robbie get together. Its always a blast.❤❤

Love Robbies garden and jealous of your kindred garden friendship
Janey I’m so glad you persuaded Robbie to do this tour! It was fantastic FYI I’m copying that window box for sure! 🇨🇦👏🌸
Robbie: The bush on your neighbors property is a pyracantha. Keep it cut back. It’s also an aphids magnet, but I’m on the coast and is much cooler. The birds love the berries. Enjoy your videos .
Very nice ROBBIE
I love his GARDEN!!! it has a little bit of EVERYTHING even a bird house. LOVE LOVE LOVE everything! I watch his channel too! He is adorable.( good heart!💙)
I love watching Robbie @visitourgarden! His videos are so soothing and magical ❤✨️ ❤ BOTH you guys have gorgeous gardens!!!
The colors on the window box are exquisite.

I follow Robbie and as you said Janey, we all see things differently and the way you videoed his gardens shows that. You both are awesome.
Beautiful garden!!!! You have a garden that is attainable not perfect like some channels that’s why I enjoy watching !!
And please let your dog in the videos she is such a beautiful baby love seeing her!!!!!!!
A delight to watch. You two are perfect together.
I love this tour. Coming from the Midwest & thinking it’s sunny & hot here I am put in my place when I hear things like growing a snowball viburnum in full shade. I have macrophylla hydrangeas & heuchera in full sun 😂

He has done an amazing job, so beautiful. He is an absolute doll, would love having him as a friend, your so lucky.
Lovely garden tour. You two are the best together. Love your shopping escapades too. 🥰
New view! Love seeing it with a different eye!
Oh my gosh the view of the silver berries back towards the house is amazing! I can’t wait to see the new grass garden paths and patio, that’s going to be beautiful. Robbie, how will you water your grass paths? I think it’s such a great idea!
Poke weed is horrible and hard to get rid of...did not know it was poisonous...TFS
Oh my Robbie
The clematis growing on the string lights is amazing
That’s my next project 😊🌿
I love you two together, you are both hilarious 😅
Beautiful tour! Love that Robbie is going to make a back garden room with a berm. I myself am creating a garden room as well.😊
What a beautiful garden. Immense changes. Robbie should be so proud. Terrific information about the step-over apple trees. Something I'd love to incorporate into my garden.
Janey, your husband seems to be handy; have him work on replacing sections of your fence 💪🏻
Robbie has some great plants. I think adding the ‘garden rooms’ will further elevate his yard.
Robbie's garden is so beautiful, and he is hilarious. Thank you so much for sharing. 💕
😍😍😍😍😍😍Garden Tour
I'm a day late watching. Robbie mentioned his bistro set from Walmart. You stated " budget shopping video". Great idea 👍
Very peaceful. Great job Robbie. Also with all that beauty that you have in your oasis, I was surprised to notice how you chose to make lemonade out of the lemony situation of a power pole that happened to fall in the middle of your garden bed, and painted it out like the fence to blend in. Your window box is gorgeous! Thank you for the tour.
Hi Janey and Robbie 🫶🏼 Robbie I love how the little planter box on the finch house is looking! Thanks Janey for showing us what Robbie won’t 🤭
Great garden! I have a feeling that you would have totally gotten in trouble for talking if you had been in kindergarten together. 😊
I just watched this and so enjoyed it! I didn’t watch when you first did it because I thought I knew your garden……no…….Janey was right! You really don’t show all your garden like this because you see it everyday. Great job you too!
Two🤦♀️
Love it when you and Robbie are together. I long for a happy friendship like the two of you have! 🌸💖🌸
Robbie, you are hilarious! I loved this garden store. Good job, Janey! The Dynamic Duo!
I LOVE when you two do a video together!!! And Robbie's garden is so beautiful!!! 🥰
That was such an enjoyable video. Robbie needs you to present his garden. It’s so beautiful! And his videos doesn’t do his garden justice. He is so knowledgeable has such good taste . ❤
Beautiful garden in a very challenging growing climate.
Good morning.
Glad to know I am not the only one who can't sow seeds directly into the garden. I feel the same way about seeding in trays beforehand, much more success. Zone9b ugh the heat that is coming, and can't water enough to keep them going.

Loved this. Your garden looks beautiful Robbie xxx
You really need to put Moxie Gardens on your tour list!! It’s the most magical garden full of whimsy that you will ever see! ❤️.
Robbie has done a wonderful job with his garden and how it evolves! Last year he did all the cut flowers.
My 2 favorite people! Love this video. Beautiful Robbie!❤❤
That bush could be euonymus. Serrated leaves, little yellow flowers, grows occasional long wild branches and loves to be covered in powdery mildew. One of the staple bushes in older neighborhoods. You can prune it as much as you want; you can't kill it. I've tried.
Such serenity seeing it from your eyes! ❤
I think your wood trellises would be vastly improved if painted slate or that greeny black color.
I love the tomato cages you made! I think they look awesome!
I love Robbie’s garden! Janey I watch you and Robbie first thing in the morning every day! Yall just make me laugh!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️💐🌺🌸🌳
Love love love watching you two!!!! Your banter back and forth is hilarious!!!! Funny how many "Robbie originals" he has. 😂😂
Brilliant!! Using Japanese Anemone for cut flowers! I have so many, now I know what I can use them for. They are so prolific in my garden, I will never run out! Thanks for the tip, Robbie!
Robbie needs to do a video on his flower arrangements!!!
Love you guys together. It’s fun.
Very fun video, and beautiful!
Your Avery is my very favorite in your garden!!
Hi! Robbie, ❤️your pathway (could be a side job🤣🤣🤣). Your pugster butterfly bush is so cute. Gonna get one tomorrow. Thanks
I so enjoyed this! I follow both of you but I didn't know Robbie is planning a whole new project for a patio. Can't wait to see it! 💞
Hi Janey and Robbie! The tall shrub on the fence looks like a Euonymus. I didn't read all the comments, so someone else may have already mentioned it. I love Robbie's garden! I love a cottage garden, but I no longer have the time for it. But my heart goes pitter patter every time I see it.❤
Loved this garden tour!! Robbie’s garden is beautiful! I wonder if he would like his tomato cages more if they were painted black?
Robbie makes you feel at home.😊
Thank you for showing us Robbie’s garden through your eyes.
Sitting in Robbies seating area looks so peaceful!
My favorite thing about your videos is you give a lot of wide shots which a lot of people forget that and focus on individual plants but the best part to me is seeing the views and what the gardener has done to bring it all together. The overalll feel and style.
The neighbors shrub is definitely a Euonymus japonicus can grow up to 27ft tall and often does get powdery mildew
Beautiful! Robbie, you just keep making it better and better! Loved Janey’s idea about the zinnias by the rooster. Robbie, have you considered getting a cord cover for the fan cord hanging down by your front door? You could then paint it so it would “go away.” Maybe a little something for Brent to do!😉
Thank you both for giving me permission NOT to direct sow…had same issues you all had with not much happening!!😂👍

I just love Robbie's garden especially the honeysuckle on the side-yard fence. Gorgeous. Thank you Janie and Robbie
Loved seeing Robbie's garden through your eyes! Love both your gardens and channels ❤
Wow is that garden amazing!! It’s so cozy! And I just love how you two interact, you guys are just the cutest! Everyone needs a gardening buddy/best friend to laugh with 🥰

That espalier is sooooo gorgeous!
I love your view of Robbie’s garden. You two are so much fun to watch.
It did make a difference having a different perspective. His gardens very beautiful. I watch them all the time but your perspective was correct
I truly enjoyed each of you touring one another’s garden. You both brought out things the owner did not. Such a great idea.
It’s so fun to watch your friendship grow and blossom too❤❤❤
keep up the good work enjoy spending time with you on both your gardens amazing 👏
I love you guys together
