Dustbin sized cans add to the impression and probably the reality of bulk. Svelte is not a word that will be appearing in any reviews of this sports tub. All the aftermarket suppliers will be smiling. Big K spiced up the outgoing model with Akrapovic kit last year.
More nimble at walking speeds when you need to do a tight turn and feels a bit softer. I wasn't talking about race, country roads or anything with a little bit corner speed in it :) The biggest reason it feels easier to ride for beginners is that busa has more room for steering, and your hands dont touch the gas tank so easily. I hate the feeling of thinking theres more steering room when it suddenly stops and you need more speed to stay upright :D

My first real bike ride was with a Hayabusa. It wasn't hard to ride and very easy to handle. I was 18, and ONLY had ridden a 25hp Yamaha DT125 before. No need for 600cc bikes if you know how to twist the throttle.
i test drive the moto and im in love, but i notice a lack of power until 4,000rpm +-. this is bad when the bike is loaded and in city/ and uphill need to downshift all the time. any sugestion for the problem? i think the gtr dont have this problem
Kawasaki might as well start making cars, the engine is already as big as a car's and will make more HP than any of the other small econoboxes, who needs torque when u can have this much fun revving to 10k
Well a hayabusa is really laid back and very manouverable compared to a ZX10-R, but you need to be careful with the throttle on big bikes because they rev like formula 1's. It was my big brothers bike (the busa) by the way, and on an airstrip. But yeah, a Yamaha BT1100 bulldog is much easier to manouver and more laid back than the busa, but it weighs tons :D

I have had a cbr 900rr for a while now and am looking for another comfortable bike, i travel 100 miles a day on my 900rr so i need a comfy one i dont like the newer liter bikes because they are all small as shit its between this or the hayabusa which should i look into?? \\\\
@looskaluis 2009 zx14 is more beautiful and has better top speed if you remove the cutter than this,but 2012 zx14 has better acceleration,for me don't sell the old zx.

I've had this bike for about a month now and i'm still afraid of it. Its pretty cool though knowing that you are the fastest on the highway, and trust and believe, this is the fastest on the highway right now. Sorry Suzuki fans, but the Busa doesn't stand a chance.

What internationally recognized governing body classifies the ZX-14 or Hayabusa as a sport tourer? Your personal opinion should not be confused for fact. I've been riding my 08 ZX-14 for three years now and I still can't find the factory luggage mounting points, center stand, relaxed riding position, long distance seat, or adjustable windscreen. In any case, Kawasaki and Suzuki do not agree with you.
It's this weird thing that british people call a Z. My wife is Australian and she pronounces Z as Zee just like us so I know it's not an American thing. British people are just strange. Besides, we (Americans) invented the motorcycle and have much better roads (and more of them) for these types of bikes and all others really, so we tend to make a lot more sense with anything when it comes to bikes. But Zed is what they call the letter Z. Similar to the German "Tset" pronunciation of Z.
Its called the gentlemeans agreement. It was because of the 99 hayabusa. Europe threaten to ban suzuki if they continued making bikes that went over 165 mph. Had nothing to do with accidents.
