The moment your migraine starts to die down is such a relief. It feels like you just finished a 400 m race and your muscles are starting to receive oxygen again.(but like in your head) Painful. But relieving.
Yeah, I can compare it to feeling actually good. If you are in a bad mood then you get a migraine, afterwards if it dissappeard you feel just awesome. Like you even forgot how good you can actually feel. Weird af, but amazing.
Is it just me or after you just had a migraine attack ,you're scared of even moving your body cause you feel like it will come back again. You just sit still until you're 100% sure it's over.
Literally. If I wake up with one I’m paralyzed in bed and can barely open my eyes and even if I stay incredibly still it’ll still find a way to pulse in my brain it sucks
@@kpro_1188 I have abdominal migraines? I think? And when I get sick it usually helped. Hadn’t gotten sick in over 10 years bc I developed a phobia. Did this year it sucked bc I was practically up all night unable to do it bc of the phobia and trying to convince myself it would make me feel better. Eventually it happened though.
I feel strangely comforted knowing there are so many of us who go through the same thing. I thought I was the only one who puked their guts out for hours during a migraine. My migraines usually consist of auras, blind spots in my vision, nausea, and a crushing pain in the head. I hope more research will be done to help those of us suffering from migraines!
The nausea is almost always the worst part of mine... it's horrific! People don't really understand unless they go through it or see someone else going through it.
I feel ya.. crushing pain in the head, nausea, puking my guts out for hours. . All of it! 😑 Plus extreme sensitivity to light and sound. I feel like literally smashing people's heads if they make noise or turn on the lights in my room when I'm having a migraine.
I have had it since childhood... The Throbbing pain, sensitivity to light and sound and Fatigue….. though it subsides after I have puked... And I used to feel I was the only one who puked during migraines but I don't have auras. I just hope some cure comes soon. For now I try to minimise instances of my triggers
I think for me it's the aura, the fear of losing my sight and not being able to focus on anything that I was doing is the worst. The nausea goes away after the puking for me.
@@nishant6229 I feel you! My migraines start to subside after puking too! How long does the puking last for you though? Mine comes and and goes in waves for hours.
I'm glad she mentioned "difficulty speaking" as a symptom. Sometimes I don't have a headache, but fatigue, sensitivity to light and sound and difficulties listening and speaking. Sometimes I think that I'm having a stroke, it's terrifying.
Yes I feel drained and thirsty. Also want to run a do all that I couldnt for the time I had a migraine but have to wait to kinda recover from the migraine-hangover.
its been over 15 years since they started and I haven't had a day without one so I really don't know about that. I am just glad they got the passing out under control and it has been awhile since I had vertigo in my sleep. but saying that I know it will happen again soon.
Yes! If I've been extra stressed I become obsessively vigilant motoring my vision, weakness/numbness or any sign of headache. Is that tingling just because I leaned on my arm funny or is it my aura? I know one is coming, it's the game of guessing when!
Yes. I used to get a lot of migraines on long enduring days, such as social events or days out. I then often get nervous that I will probably be getting a migraine the next time I plan something.. and what do you know.. it happens again.
Hi! I am 22 and I also have chronic migraine and it's day 40 already. I already consulted with a neurologist and he gave me over the counter medicine but lifestyle habits alone could actually help me to have a mild-moderate migraines each day.
Whenever I feel physically bad, I ask myself- is this worse than a migraine? It never is. So, other pain almost never bothers me. Whenever I feel pain, I am thankful it's not migraine 😅
I ignored gallbladder pain, too bad it was an inflammation of the gallbladder rather than typical since I’ve never eaten a fatty diet, even before I got an ED (that rapid weight loss is most likely how I ended up with gallstones since it’s apparently a known cause) and I was thus hoping it’ll go away eventually. Instead it almost killed me so eh… probably don’t ignore pain too much? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
watching this makes me want to cry, in a good way. it’s so frustrating when something as small as a “headache” can disrupt my whole day. migraines make me feel like such a burden because nobody around me knows what they feel like. but it’s nothing like a headache. i’m so glad i’m not alone in it
@@smile-mh1nl someone told me, oh yes, when I have a migraine I take a paracetemol and that cures it (!) - frustrating when people think it is just a headache
My cat actually signals that im going ro have a migraine before I know! About 30 mins before the aura starts he'll start rubbing on my legs and agressively meowing and trying to herd me towards the bed. He was not trained to do this, its just a thing he started on his own! I love him so much, hes a really special little guy.

Aviral Janveja, no kidding! It irks me when someone says they have an awful migraine, & yet they're on Facebook all day. Trust me, if they had a REAL migraine, they wouldn't be anywhere near a computer.
calling it a headache is like the worst understatement related to migraine. The pain is literally like if someone had put pieces of broken glass in your head and then shoke it. That, combined with an extreme difficulty to speak, stains in your vision, and when it ends there's a hangover effect that can last for days. Edit: Later in life I discovered that if I do a lot of physical activity + drink coffee during the day that's like a 100% trigger for my migraine.
Mine are like I have a tiny grinder in my skull slowly pulling me in why pressurizing my skull, I develop the power to spontaneously projectile vomit, many words repeat in my writing, spoken words become nearly impossible to understand, and half my face goes numb while my vision in one eye becomes incredibly impaired.
Iv have been fighting migraines. For about 14years. They completely fd my life. But I think I might be starting to get better but I don't know because I still get one migraine every day in the afternoon. So so far. Its not completely gone. But. I got a new pillow. And it's memory foam. I fold it in stick it in the pillow case much better. And I drink only water and milk now. I don't drink pop. Or coffee or tea. I wear sunglasses alot. Eat regular even if you don't wanna. Set a schedule and an alarm that you must eat 3 meals a day. Just something.
The worst feeling is noticing your sensitive to light or sound and realising your doomed to have a migraine. You can’t run away from it or towards it, you just have to wait for the pain to begin
As a kid I always cried and told my mom ”It hurts in my eye” because I had painful migraines on the sides of my brain. My parents didn’t know why It always hurt in my ”eye” or why I puked afterwards.
I had the exact same thing as a kid , you probobly have cysts on your brain just like me. As i grew a bit older the migraines were not that strong like when i was a kid so i forgot obout it. But now i read that cysts can be noncancer or cancer so that got me thinking again because the migraines started hitting me again every 7 days. Are you better now or you still have them atleast one or two times a mounth??
@@Robert-jj1rr I had tests done by neurologists and they never found anything. I keep having them still, sometimes they can last a week or two. But I switched to keto diet and they are milder and they don't happen as often. Haven't had a serious one since April.
Bruh we had the same migraine 😭.. Have you experienced anything more painful than this migraine headache that hits the eye? I broke my hand & went through surgery but it still didn't compare to this migraine
It's so spot on, these animations. Showing the thrashing and twisting of finding that perfect position with the least amount of pain, when you find that sweet spot of perfect pressure to relieve your throb. That horrible soft spot like a babies head. I cant be the only one
You explained it perfectly! And when you do find it, you lie there as much as you can and hope that it doesn't wear off. If it does and you have to shift and find a new position and can't it's an absolute tragedy
Definitely not the only one, for me though that spot only lasts for a small amount of time before I have to roll over and do the same thing again. And again, and again....
I normally find it best to fall asleep sitting up after taken 2 ibuprofen and a paracetamol because there is too much pressure in my head and behind my eyes lying down. I normally know when I'm getting a migraine when I have a pain in my neck or base of my skull then works its way round to the back of my eyes
I just cried my heart out for all of you suffering what I've been suffering for the past 20 years. Sometimes (like now) after few days long attack I get so emotional because it literally rules my life and it makes me furious. All of those days missed back at school, then difficulty to find a right job.. skipped activities, fear of pushing myself too much, because every rush of adrenaline would cause the migraine next day. All those moments when I felt useless and literallyprayed to die, so the agony would end. The misunderstanding of people around you, no escape from shame and guilt because you can't do anything about it rather than hide in darkness to fight this internal battle once again. It makes my heart to break knowing that so many of you goes through this unimaginable suffering. My migraine is sometimes so strong that I go completely blind for long periods of time, the worst thing about it is the lack of empathy from the people around me, mainly my family.
I had that as a kid.. loss of completed vision... kevin g rose at the spine clinic in Utah did a nerve ablation removed clipped and burned trigger nerves and it helped for so many years but the nerves come back or other nerves pick up the migraines again.. I'm sorry you have this is scarey and wouldn't wish this on anyone
I also lose my vision for brief periods and it is terrifying enough when it lasts just six seconds. I'm so sorry you have to endure that. I send telepathic hugs
Yeah, I remember my best friend always being annoyed by my migraines, as she would always roll her eyes at my “sorry, I won’t make it tonight” caused by the pain - UNTIL she didn’t start having migraines herself, she apologized to me for her behavior but it still kinda hurts to this day :/
A lot of physicians don't have any empathy for their patients who have migraines. I fired mine in front of his staff. It's not good to minimize, or fail to recognize, a migraine headache in a person who is suffering.
Quick tip, when I feel like I'm getting a migraine I take pain relief instantly and drink plenty of water. If you can take a shower and make sure it's warm but not hot, close your eyes and let the warm water hit the back of your neck, it loosens up your neck and muscles in your head and can help significantly sometimes even gets rid of it for me. If all these don't work you have to go to bed in the dark and sleep it off
Exactly. My doctor told me the same. My recipe for a migraine is pain Relief and a lill against vomiting which also makes me tired and than just go to sleep
This plus try to take a nap even if you can't fall asleep, closing your eyes and trying to clear your mind with a cold icepack on your head and eyes feels amazing
@@Fresitafresha Asprin, Paracetamol or Ibuprofen. Have to take it as soon as you feel like you're about to get a migraine or else it does nothing. If you catch it quick enough it'll prevent it. Oh and take it with a drink that has a little caffeine in it so it gets in your bloodstream faster.
I would have never guessed that those annoying yawning episodes are also indicators for my upcoming suffering... I was so confused by the constant yawning. This video was really helpful, thanks!
My mum noticed the pattern but only after about 20 years of getting them, I never took any notice either but now you know, you can prepare for the inevitable
I used to yawn “theatrically” prior to being physically sick🤢, I was almost always sick when I had a migraine but even after having them for a few years as a kid I knew that I’d feel marginally/hugely better afterwards so I used to 🤞and hope for it to happen 🤕😏 I’m rarely sick these days but the pain is so much worse! So much so it often brings me to tears! 😓
I get migraines too. My migraines always start off with auras or blind spots in my vision, then the really really bad pain in my head comes in, next comes in nausea, then I throw up, sleep, and hope it goes away. Watching this video was so hard for me since it gave me so much anxiety because even thinking or talking about migraines makes me nervous and anxious. I'm glad I got educated on what really happens inside my brain to cause me so much pain.
My aura starts with blind spots as well and lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. Then the headache comes. I have figured out over the years, if I take 600 mg ibuprofen, 1000 mg acetaminophen and drink about 24 oz of room temp water as soon as my aura starts, I can usually avoid the worst of the actual headache part of it. If it’s safe for you to use these medications & you haven’t tried this combo, it’s worth a shot. I hope you find some relief!
same here, the anxiety that comes with it it's not discussed enough, traying to explain what i experience makes me scared of having a migraine attack, it's really awful.
Definitely "try" I toss and turn, typically force my index fingers knuckle into my left eye just to feel something other than that throbbing. Sounds bad but vomiting helps a ton for me for some reason and it's always behind my left eye.

When you have a migraine, it's impossible to remember what it feel like to don't have one. I'm feeling I'm gonna suffer it for eternity, and that it always have been. Underestimated pain
Absolutely. I'd go as far as to say that when it's finally over, you feel almost high. It's really just normality but it's such a severe difference that normality feels euphoric.
I'm 17 and I've had migraines since I was 6 or 7, I was diagnosed with chronic migraines only last year after they were becoming more severe and in a pattern. I take medication but it doesn't always help, I use an app that helps you track your attacks and symptoms and triggers It's really useful especially if you want to keep up with your doctor or just to get to know the nature of your migraines better. I really sympathize with anyone who struggles with migraines because the pain is so severe sometimes I wonder of it'll ever stop. Reading the comments it's weirdly comforting to know that I'm not alone and a lot of people actually understand what it's like. I heard that attacks lessen as you get older and I hope that's true.
This is very similar to my experience, I first got migraines at around 7-8 and I got diagnosed with chronic migraines when I was 17 :/ I’ve made a few healthy lifestyle changes which has helped a little with how frequent they are but sometimes I’ll even get a sensation of a migraine randomly that only lasts a few minutes, they’re very unpredictable. I hope you find something that works for you
I started getting them when I was 8. It wasn’t until I was in the my late 20s/early 30s that I was able to pinpoint the onset to be able to take my meds early enough. It’s hereditary on my mom’s side. I would never be able to forgive myself if I passed this along to my son…

I've had them since early childhood. But recently I was encouraged to switch to keto diet. I haven had a big migraine since April. I started reading about it and apparently keto reduces the chances for some people.
I've had them for years ocular migraines that affect my vision and my vertigo makes it worse. My mom gets them and she throws up alot, I hate it for anyone experiencing migraines there horror
I've been getting migraines since I was about 15 years old. I get them more and more frequently as I get older. I'll be 38 in December. I take Rizatriptan (Maxalt) for my migraines and it will take them away. I wouldn't wish migraines on anyone 😫😭
I get them and all 3 of my kids do as well. My mother, her brother, their mother and her mother all had them. I have no idea how many generations this goes back in my family, but it's an absolute generational curse to us. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
Hahahahaha. Yes! Even sneezing, yawning, or anything that makes your head move is such a pain. That's why when I have migraine, I will take a paracetamol or ibuprofen, and force myself to sleep(which is not that hard since I sleep a lot).

@@elagea5617 The amount of times this happens in day to day life is annoying. Cannot count the amount of times i've heard "could it be all in your head?" (edit was due to typo, oops)
I was eight (8) when I first diagnosed for migraine, and now I am 28. It is become a part of my life and routine already. Once or twice in a month I will surely know that it is the time for the pain to hit me harder and drown me in agony. Whenever I say that I got migraine, some will comment like "just headache, so what?", "okay, don't think about it" or some literally won't understand what it is happening to me inside, even myself not sure about it too. I always wish to dismantle my head and separate from my body and re-attach once the pain goes off, yeah, it is strange! Only the person who enduring the pain for 20 years; ME, know the exact affliction. The worst part of the pain attack is when I am out of my home and not able to isolate myself; at workplace, playing football, school, exams hall, enjoying my vacation or having good time for myself. It strikes unannounced most of the time. I tried and still trying few medications and suggested treatments, but the outcome is still the continuous bursting pain inside my head. During my migraine pain time, I usually isolate myself, keep the environment dark, avoid human interaction (but still have to do due to the environment), drink more water, head shower to ease the burning sensation and many more, and unfortunately the pain still will be there for 48 hours or so on. With the hope I am expecting there will be a cure for migraine as soon as possible. I don't wish anyone to suffer from this pain, even my enemies.
Trauma started my migraine, my family controlling my life started it & it's chronic, when i ignore everyone & everything i won't get migraine attacks, am 35 now & it's relapsing now for same reasons, i don't know whether migraine attacks can be with no traumatic history

i mean technically it is a viable cause. once i had a migraine because i stared at a screen for too long... the fact that phone screens are usually small, which lead to a bit more eye strain, could also add to it
Same here. I was a teenager, working at my summer job, outdoors in extreme heat. I suddenly couldn’t see; everything in my vision was scrambled, like a jigsaw puzzle scattered on a table (with pieces missing). It *was* terrifying!
I usually feel like my eyeballs are completely filled with broken glass when my vision changes. Sometimes it comes on as tunnel vision with auras . I also get very dark circles around the outside of my eyes at the onset . The dark circles are a big giveaway that I’m about to get a migraine, I almost always check the mirror if I’m feeling off , i hate taking the medication but catching it early does help . I learned that the very hard way . I still don’t really function on the medication but at least the headache subsides enough i can pass out . I also have an ice hat I found on Amazon for I think $19 that helps somewhat . Taking regular baths in Epsom salt seems to help decrease the frequency of my migraines. I hope everyone suffering finds some relief 🙏

My 22-Year Migraine Journey. At the age of 7, I experienced my first migraine. I clearly remember struggling to describe the pain to my parents, it was unbearable, leaving me crying and rolling in agony. Two hours later, vomiting brought relief. Now I'm 29, For 22 years, I've battled migraine. As a doctor, managing symptoms is importance to effective patient care, Through personal experience, I've identified triggers and adjusted my lifestyle to avoid specific foods, stress, and environmental factors. Regular exercise along with proactive medication, helps manage my condition. My migraine frequency has drastically reduced from 5-6 times a month to just 4-5 times a year, thanks to these preventive measures.
I have had migraines since I was 10 years old. It used to upset me when someone would say “it’s just a headache”. I’m blessed to have the support of my family behind me.
With me, they stopped saying this after I had thrown up and passed out in the classroom a few times during first grade. Luckily, my mum has migraines herself. She would have given the teachers/pupils a piece of her mind if anyone had tried to play it dow .
Identifying and understanding my triggers have helped me avoid frequent attacks. My trigger includes" 1. light (flash/ fluctuating lights), 2. Sweets, 3. any sharp smell (particularly cigarette smell, petrol, kerosene), 4. Anger." These include my few triggers, most importantly, I have identified even if I laugh hard, or cry I am prone to attacks. All in all, I would suggest trying meditation, trying to keep yourself hydrated, getting proper sleep, and being strong. I would also like to appeal to spread awareness about migraine. It's not just a headache.
It's worth looking into this more - I went to a symposium by the top neurologists here in the UK and realised that a lot of what we think of as triggers are actually early symptoms or prodrome. This even includes food cravings which are part of the migraine not the trigger and aggression or anger. It made me understand a lot more what is happening for me during migraine. I also discovered "anorexia" can be a symptom, so I know if I am getting fussy about food this can be an early warning sign and if I can make sure I eat every few hours that helps me to avoid the worst dips. Sometimes the symptoms can come 2-3 days before the main part of the migraine. Exhausting!!!
Can we also discuss how migraines affect our loved ones when we have an attack. My kids go into migraine preservation mode 😅... They keep the noise down, feed themselves and generally do not disturb me when I’m trying to sleep it off! I do feel bad when I can be sleeping for hours, because I can’t function with daylight, movement and sound when I have migraine.
Same, but my parents just don’t understand that I’m not lazy. They just don’t get that my migraines are so bad and are often occurring that I can’t do anything, but laying down with a cold pack and no sunlight hitting me. I’m 41. I’ve had migraines most of my life. They got so bad last year that I had an MRI. They’ve gotten worse over the years. Completely debilitating at time. I’ve tried different medications and avoid triggers if I can. Mine are environmental: stress; when the seasons start to change, I get them; when it’s cloudy but doesn’t rain I get them; when it’s really hot outside, I get them. Sometimes they last for days or weeks. I have also started getting ringing in the ears as an aura. I have to sleep sitting up because laying down makes the pain unbearable. I recently bought a $3,000 mattress so that I can sleep more comfortably upright when a migraine strikes. It’s horrible and most don’t understand. I also suffer from depression and panic attacks. It’s all related.
i can totally imagine that. i have one that lasted for 3 days nonstop and during those days, everything is just out of place. when i discovered something that works for me, i am heavily dependant on those pills. has the MRI tell you anything about your migraine?
I am sorry to hear it. I have migraines with much lesser frequency and intensity now as a result of practicing pranayam and Sudarshan kriya .Sometimes months go by without having a migraine depending on my lifestyle etc as opposed to before when i would feel like dying every other day or so with my migraines Please consider learning Sudarshan kriya from one of the programs you can find around you or online . Hope it gets better for you.
The ringing in your ears is a bad sign, make sure to take painkillers even if you don't think they do anything. I once tried to brave it out lol I now have permanent profound deafness in my right ear, that can only be fixed by putting an implant into my brain. The nerve that was damaged passes by the fright and flight centre of the brain and is triggers it 24 hours and day 7 days a week ... for the rest of my life, and nothing can fix it. On the up side, it's not a brain tumor, which is what they first told me I had.
@@faiznuranis25 I'm thinking that I will wait and see if some new technology gets invented, or some new stem cell research that might restore nerves, or something. If nothing like that happens I might think about the surgery when I'm older. It's not painful it's more that I'm in a state of fear all the time, because that part of the brain is being triggered. So I have tell myself all the time that it's the nerve and that I'm not in danger lol. And if there is any background noise at all I can't hear anything, even just running water. Idk life seems to be about learning how to cope, and that's what we do, we cope. Thanks for asking, I hope your migraines calm down 🦊
I first got migraines when I was around 12 years old, the kind where I would throw up from the pain. Then after a year they stopped coming, only to return again in my mid 20s. Now in my late 30s I only seem to get them on nights where I've had terrible sleep. I do not wish migraines on anyone, it's debilitating and those of you who suffer them regularly you have my sympathy ❤️
I was 10. I would also 🤢 from the pain, half of the time it would ease the pain and I’d have a nap to decompress from the mornings events. But it’s different now. I’m 40 and they’ve never stopped 😔 I’m not always nauseous but I feel the pain is much worse.
My migraines are debilitating and knock me out for a whole day or two. They had started impacting my personal and professional life immensely. With the help of a good neurologist, I charted my migraines closely for a while and was able to identify 3 main triggers - disturbed sleep/lack of sleep, heat and bright light. I made certain changes to my lifestyle based on this info.eg. No early morning flights/travel plans, no ultra late nights, investing in a very good pair of dark sunglasses, always staying cool & avoiding the outdoors on a hot day etc etc. I anticipate my triggers now and avoid them as much as I can. This has helped me a lot and I've managed to reduce the number of headaches. Yes, its a pain and I miss out on some events BUT nothing is worth getting a migraine.
pretty sure one of the triggers for mine is saturated fats... its a crying shame that my mother makes the most delicious potato bake of which im addicted but damn its oily...
I’m one year older. I use to try and drink them away, but that only turned me into an alcoholic. Elven sober years later, They just wipe me out for a day, and I move on.
This video really hits home. It’s a reminder of how much our childhood shapes who we are today. Healing from the past isn't easy, but knowing we’re not alone in this journey makes a big difference. We all deserve to rebuild our self-esteem and embrace the person we’re becoming
I’ve only had one migraine in my entire life and it was so torturous that I still remember it as clearly to this day even though it happened 10 years ago. I was basically immobile and had to cover my eyes with an eye mask to ease the pain. Man if that was already painful enough, I can’t imagine everyone else in the comments section who’s had chronic migraines. My heart goes out to all of you :(
Had it twice in my life and i remember both. Was the most excrutiating pain ive ever felt. 1st time I was playing soccer and started getting an aura, I didnt even know what was happening, but i thought i looked at the sun too long. After some time my head started feeling odd and my stomach felt bad. During my bike ride home I felt like dying. Went into my room and thought this is the end. 2nd time was maybe a month ago at work. I felt good the entire day until i noticed a spot in my field of vision. I lost the ability to read and write. I struggled with forming sentences. I thought i have a stroke. I went home and got the worst pulsating pain behind my left eye and in my head. Took about 4 or 5 hours until it stopped... I dont ever want to experience a migraine again..
Thank you for your understanding. It can be very frustrating when people who do not have migraines do not understand that it's not a simple headache, it's truly debilitating. It really helps to have more people out there who are aware.
I've had migraines since I was about 14 yrs old, I get the whole shebang, aura, blind spots, pins and needles, confusing, nausea and splitting headache. Been on all sorts or medication and even tried hypnotherapy but last week I was recovering from covin and had 5 migraines in a week, it was awful, sent home from work and even days later since my last attack and I still don't feel right, absolute awful things for anyone to go through.
Thank you ted ed for telling people that it is MORE than "JUST A HEADACHE"! Edit :- went for a monthly appointment today to the neurosurgeon and he told me to get my MRI and BRAIN VENOGRAPHY done as he thinks migraine has maybe affected parts of my brain🥲🤡 Still sounds like ' just a headache'??
@@annaluciaschmitz same bruhh 🥺..but after my parents have seen me wailing and my opthalmologist told my dad to strictly consult a doctor for this.. my parents have started taking my migraine seriously...
I've had migraine for 2 years straight every day, I can still remember I failed my Math subject because it was scheduled during morning, and my migraine hits during mornings. It was probably the worst times of my life because I felt like I was useless and sometimes suicidal. But its very strange after migraines I get that strong relief, a euphoria after migraine if you will. I've never had migraines ever since, however I still have that fear of having migraine.
i feel that so much it's cause when that migraine is finally gone it feels like your head is done trying to crush your brain, like it feels like all the pressure has been relieved and it feels so nice. And i feel like the euphoria is just because that migraines take forever to pass lol and when they do you're just relieved
I'm dealing with a migraine right now and this video gave such an accurate description and really helped me understand what is going on when I have a migraine. Today around 11am I started having auras, and it spread to where I couldn't see out of my left eye for an hour. I ate lunch and stood up and the headache hit me like a train. At one point it was difficult to speak and I felt sick to my stomach and any noise or light was unbearable. Its 830pm now, and my head is still hurting, but not like before. I totally relate to the part that talks about coughing or bending over. Its like my head is gonna fall off and of course I'm in the midst of getting over being sick.. so the occasional cough and sneeze is awful. I didn't realize there could be potential warning signs of a migraine, but now looking back I noticed yesterday I was SO thirsty. I even said out loud "I can't stop drinking water." Then at one point I noticed my face was super red hot and flushed. It felt like a mini fever in my cheeks and I was incredibly tired... so now I can keep an eye out for the warning signs. Ugh.
Been to psychiatric hospitals my whole life and they never diagnosed me with chronic migraine all those years until recently . It’s videos like these that bring awareness to the seriousness of migraine and allow it to be considered a actual condition . I wouldn’t wish em on anybody. I’ve missed out and had to leave events and work early all because I got a migraine.
What a terrible place to suffer through migraines! How awful! I am saying a prayer for you so that you stay healthy and get a good doctor who can treat your headaches appropriately. Take good care of yourself and remember you're a lot more sensitive than most people. I have to follow the migraine diet and avoid getting overheated in the sun or heat, and make sure you avoid alcohol and get enough sleep and don't go without eating all day. Basically, just treat yourself like a little baby.
I've had migraines since i was 8.. honestly i thought i was dying most of the time (no one around me knew what migraines were and peeps just though little me was over exaggerating) i was soo happy when i learned the word for it and that other people out there have it too and can live normal lives..
YESS! I had migraines from a really young age and people around me( including my family) thought I was exaggerating and doing it for the "attention". I remember I felt so bad I thought my pain tolerance was so low that people could handle a headache but I can't. It was not after I turned 16 that I got to know the word migraine and was diagnosed by a doctor. It actually felt good that no, all those hallucinations and crazy stuff is normal and there are so many people who have it too!!
🥺🥺 I feel that. I was blamed that she wants to sleep so is making up excuse when I was a kid. Cuz whenever migraine would attack lil me always thought sleeping would take away the pain. I used to think that's what headache is, I would feel so sorry for the person whenever I d hear sm1 getting headache. I came to know I got migraine in 2020. I am 24. Mum got from grandma n passed on to me. Family still says.. it's simple headache except mum. indifference starts from family n the whole world is global fam. I hope we
I remember going to school when I was maybe 6 and I brought apple juice very single day and almost always had to go home at some point because I threw up, basically went blind and had the worst pain ever. Turns out to this day (I'm 21) apple juice is the worst trigger ever. There are maybe 50 more but I can smell this stuff and have to lie down for the whole day.
Me too, I think mine started around the age of 8 too. I don't think there was a week I didn't have one or puked my guts up. It really is a miracle I haven't needed any fillings in my teeth at all 😂 Funnily enough I found that Ribena would be a trigger amongst other things. I hope they're not as horrible for you in recent years.
describe it as sound torture... theyll probably go to look it up and see examples of people stuffed into metal containers with music blasting in 24/7... hard to believe someone couldnt understand the consept of a 100 headaches all at once or one headache x100... like someones carved ya head open and bashing pans around inside your skull... i was at work this one time bout 3 years ago for a 12 hr shift... the headache had gone its general 2-3hrs and turned into a migrane... it was in a warehouse with pvc extruders forklifts coveyer belts moving machinery and everything... it got to the point i couldnt take the sound anymore and layed down on the pipes i had put on my trolly... i had to close my eyes must have appeared to be sleeping or somthing my supervisor came up from behind me and screamed wake up... jokingly... i rose with tears swelling in my eyes appologising to him and explaining i was in pain and had a migraine... he gave me 2 tablets of voltaren rapid... 30 mins later the migraine was gone... i felt so chipper happy... id never experienced such relief in my life... anyways mate be well take care stay safe be happy XD ... p.s. a trigger for my migraines might be saturated fats... cha mate
Same though that usually happens to me to... though sometimes I’d get thirsty before a migraine starts, but that only happens to me like once or twice...
Me too. High school was miserable because people on the bus would eat bread (bagels and such) and for some reason those smells bother me so much when I get a migraine.
Same with me, strong smells often bring them on and weird light, I wear sunglasses all time, outdoors at least. When it's overcast outside is worst, and I want to punch people when they say "why do you have sunglasses on, Where's the sun!!!???"
Literally happened to me a few weeks ago, was reading and was like “wait what I can’t see” then it hit me. The blind spot and aura phase are my warnings but they always come when I don’t have access to any migraine or headache medicine to at least get it under moderation
I still have a screenshot of a message I was trying to send to someone as my migraine was starting. I thought it made sense when I was typing it but the next day I saw it was literally just random letters
I get migraine when I have my periods so it is basically every single month! It is terrible. I get very heavy periods, clubbed with all the above symptoms I am just waiting for death. Sadly it affects my work life. My boss thinks I'm just another women who uses periods as an excuse to take leaves.. 😟 Only we know how migraines leave us paralyzed and incapable of doing basic things.

Hey dear also try making clove tea. Just ground roasted cloves to make powder, put it in boiling water and drink. You can also add sweeteners. I heard it's effective.
Always happens to me at school. I'll be reading something and then realize that I can't read a certain spot. Sucks knowing that you are about to have a terrible pain for hours
happens to me too man. i’ll be staring at the board or whatever and then boom, there’s a little spot in your vision that you can’t see. panic, anxiety, and fear overwhelms you instantly. slowly the vision aura grows, taking over your field of vision. pain slowly begins to creep in, making you oh so desperate.
I had migraines so bad as a kid I was admitted into the hospital for weeks. One doctor I’ll never forget taught me a method to measure the pain level of my migraine, breathe rhythmically, lay down and mentally count down the pain level. Over 20+ years later I still do this and it works
I always had these migraines ever since I was young. My migraines would make me dizzy, sensitivity to light, can't breathe, shivers, eyes hurting, ears hurting, passed out, puked, two to three hours of energy of sleep, and the day when I have the migraine; I don't remembered what happen on that day. I have found out that too much sugar, being near mold, strong perfume and deodorant, and strong fertilizer can cause these migraines. But, these headaches have a name. Its called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity headaches.
Most people are allergic to mold. Something like 88% of a given population. I can walk into a room where there is mold and literally hear my ears start to pop as the congestion starts as an immediate reaction to it. But I have found that taking Benadryl in addition to a pain reliever is a good way to treat my migraines.
@@deniseross2590 When you take the aspirins for the headaches you have to do it at the right time; before the headache gets worse. If you do take the aspirins after the headache gets worst. You are in that bathroom puking up every meal.
I found this video oddly comforting. Every person in my normal everyday life has never suffered from migraines or at least not chronic ones like I do and always attempt to give me "advice" when they have never gone through it. The amount of times I've been told to "work through" a migraine is crazy.
Damn that sucks.. it's the worst, when nobody believes you how bad it is :( I guess for people who have never had it, it's very hard to imagine it, how crippling and horrible it is. I'm sorry ❤️ we all get you though, you are not alone girl.
My colleague told me her friend has “really bad” migraines and “just works through” them. I told her it’s not safe for me to drive with a migraine. After working with me for awhile, she concluded my migraines must be much worse than her friend’s, and said, “I think you’re disabled.” It was nice to be validated. I’d stop working if I could.
@@genxx2724 hey ! I don’t know where you live, but in France, migraines are recognized as a disability. Our companies are required to provide flexible work hours once an employee tells them they are disabled, and you can earn minimal wage if it gets too bad 😊 Hope you heal in the future
"Migraines are more than a headache" yes i love that! I once was got scolded from a teacher for not showing up in class bcs of severe headache and i told him that i was suffering migraine but he said its just a headache and thought i was just pretending to be sick
So growing up it was understood with my teachers that if I said I was getting a migraine I HAD to go the nurse bc I’d puke. One day I told my teacher I needed to fyi to the nurse bc I was getting a migraine. She said “you’ll be fine. Wait 10 minutes, it won’t kill you”. I literally started SOBBING because it hurt so much. I couldn’t even see straight. And it was progressively getting worse. I ended up puking within a minute of new getting to the nurses office. I’m obviously still mad about it today
@@emiliawoodward4663 I know right! Most ppl in my country arent aware of migraine so they just regard this as a simple headache and would see me as a strange person who is overreating over nothing. They'll never know the pain i suffer

The nausea, relentless pounding and “pressure” in my head (it feels like my brain is too big for my skull) make it impossible for me to lie down or rest my head on/against anything. I end up pacing for hours in a blacked-out room like some zoo animal.
That sounds like cluster headaches; aka suicide headaches because they can be so unbearable and frequent. There is growing evidence microdosing psilocybin mushrooms can provide relief for several weeks to a few months.
"It feels like my brain🧠 is too big for my skull" omg for real. My pain be so strong that sometimes i just want to like grab my head and i dont know like just get horrible pain out. 😥😥😭😭
I started to have migraine attacks during high school. I am now working. I can never explain how I feel when I have migraine. I find this video and comment section comforting, describing what I feel. Thank you for this.. Btw, who else here has the feeling of the “after-migraine”? Idk how to describe it but it feels like you can feel a part of your brain that is in pain. It usually happens to me after(??) a migraine attack. My migraine usually lasts for half a day to two days.
YES!!!!! EXACTLY!!!!! lol sometimes i have it when i wake up. and i describe it as if it feels like i had migraine during my sleep… do u feel the same way too???
I suffered with severe migraines (1 or 2 per month) for 28 years. Finally, I decided to dramatically change my diet to a Whole Food Plant Based diet, and by eliminating refine sugars (cakes, pies, donuts, candy, cookies, sodas…etc.) and nearly all oil (especially fried foods). My migraines stopped for good three months later. I am happy to say that I haven’t had a migraine in over five years since making this change in my diet!
I’ve had migraines since I was 3. They never get better and the frequency and length of each episode varies. I hate how debilitating they are. Sometimes I watch my weekends just waste away because of a migraine. Most times I wish I could rip which ever eyeball is hurting that time out. I try to work through them but I also get to the point where thinking hurts and I can’t even speak. I hate migraines.
Have you been to a neurologist and talked about all the options. I ask because I’m with you but we have finally started with something that has at least when it’s not overly stormy reduced the amount of migraines I get and how bad… I still get bad ones just not as often.
I take Excedrin migraine (no prescription works), a cold shower and drink lots of Gatorade. Then lie down in bed with no light or sound. Still painful for 12 hrs for me but it does help

I've recently started to write down everytime I get a migraine to identify possible triggers. Crying helps. I feel like my body is trying to tell me something.
I've been tracking my migraines for several years with migraine buddy app... I still couldn't figure it out... then I had a really hard week at work and a migraine every day and realized it's stress! (Plus several other things.)
Crying tends to cause mine 😪 think the tension aggravates something and it spirals. Always have to snap myself out of it when I feel the tears coming now. Like Elsa, 'conceal, don't feel.'
Question for fellow migrainers: When the pain kicks in, do your migraines ever make you daydream or strongly dream in your sleep? In the past few years I've noticed that it's like my mind won't stop forcing my imagination into overdrive and it feels like the whole harry potter series played out in my sleep before I'll wake up again!
When I have a migraine, I often have more intense and crazy dreams than normally and I also wake up a couple of times, so I have not just one crazy dream, but three or four, and every time after sleep I’m just like “wtf just happened???”
Yeah, there's nothing like throwing up your insides while feeling like your head is going to burst. I've had broken blood vessels under my eyes (and in them) from vomiting during a migraine. Thank goodness age and passing through menopause has lessened the frequency & severity.
I find it tiresome how people have started using migraine as a synonym for just a bad headache, meaning that as a sufferer of this condition you’ll always have to explain that whenever you call in sick over a migraine, you actually sitting in a dark bathroom throwing up for eight hours straight
I always found that the vomiting was the culmination of my attacks, afterwards I'd sleep like the dead for several hours. Then at age 40 I was treated in a clinic and they suggested Beta Blockers as they had some evidence of beneficial side effects. I didn't have much to lose so I tried it. The intensity and frequency has reduced, but when they do come they still torture me.
Its almost impossible to convince people u are having one. Worked in a kitchen, was only until the third time i threw up and said screw it before i left during my shift because the boss wasnt gonna let me go. In the middle of the kitchen. Personal triumph i actually made it home, tho by no means should i have.
I was told by a teacher that I can't go home JUST because I got a headache (this was after I got amnesia the first time I had one -I couldn't even remember my name). There should be better education given to all about what a migraine is.
wow... i honestly didnt think people were so unaware these comments are fair dinkum thats harsh as buggery... find your triggers if u have one brothers and sisters.. consider voltaren rapid(painkiller with potassium in it)... could be a lack of potassium or sodium... try a pinch of salt under tung when u get one... also could be a dietary trigger for me its probably saturated fats... and a lack of potassium given that voltaren rapid was the only pain killer that ever worked for me... goodluck my brothers and sisters i love you and feel for you and with you!!!
Maxalt, only kind of med ive found that helps, as long as i take it when my warning sign starts, which is a weird feeling behind my right eye for some reason.
I hate it when people say they have had a migraine when they really haven't. I forbid myself saying the word "Migraine" as I feel like a jinx myself. For anyone who's actually had one recently, sorry to you.
I get that. I think I’ve had 2 true migraines in my life. I felt like I was gonna die and just wanted to cry and not be conscious anymore. Thankfully, it’s been years. I do get frequent headaches with nausea all the time, though, but they’re not on the migraine level. Even so, I feel like we’re on the same team. I truly empathize with migraine sufferers. I don’t count myself as one of them, but I’m rooting for more research and solutions for all of us.
Yeah I have people go I’ve got a migraine whilst they’re outside standing in the light and noise of the day. Like no. That is a headache. I can function with a headache. I cannot function with a migraine
I was diagnosed since I was around 12 with having many types of migraines not knowing what the cause was. Spend half of my teenage in bed. Years later (im now 24) I was diagnosed by PTSD. Turned out I wasn’t just a sick kid that was having migraines without any reason, I was a kid living in a very unhealthy surrounding and because of that a body overloaded by stress. Im telling this because it would helped me so much if someone would have recognized this many years ago.
Caffeine withdrawal is a significant issue for me, once I cut out caffeine and chocolate, my migraine frequency dropped from 3-4 a week to 1-2 per month or even less. Nutrition helped further, upping my protein intake for the gym saw a further drop in frequency and can see me going for months without a migraine.
This is me 😭last winter I took coffe everyday and I was getting migraine everyday later on I stopped it one week and took it again later migraine come i realized that coffee was inducing migraine for all life I had no idea that It was coffee later on I found that Coca Cola and Pepsi were also the same . Now it has been 2 months that I have stopped and migraine is almost gone. I wish I knew this when I was still 10 years old I’m grown up . Now I’m taking control of everything take can give me migraine
One thing that does work for me is when I feel fatigued, I drink Gatorade and start eating cheesy foods. The electrolytes help my blood circulate instead of feeling inflamed all the time. It doesn’t work for everyone but it works for me. Esp when I have a deadline.
I used to get migraines every single month for a span of a few years when I was in my late childhood- early teens. My vision would get distorted to the point that I couldn’t see, and I’d get a headache, and then always throw up. It was so bad that I used to live in fear of it all the time and would basically have a panic attack any time I thought I was getting a migraine. Thankfully, I stopped getting them after I stopped drinking bottled water at around age 13 or so. I had read an article about how the plastic in water bottles can cause migraines, and I used to drink pretty much exclusively my water from disposable bottles, so once I stopped, the migraines stopped. Now I’m 17. In terms of the psychological effect though, even just hearing the word “migraine” causes me to be very nauseous to the point where it feels like I might vomit, and occasionally when I’m tired and can’t see properly, sometimes I start hyperventilating with fear that it might be a migraine.
Wow I’ve been getting migraines since elementary school. I’m 21 still suffering from migraines and never heard about plastic water bottles can cause migraines! All I drink is water from plastic bottles literally! I’m going to cut it out to see if that helps. Thanks for sharing that
How do you get your water nowadays if it's not bottled? Like if you're out and about somewhere and know you need water but there's no water fountain, do you always have water with you? How do you carry it, in like a canteen or something non-plastic instead? Asking as someone else who's always had migraines for as long as I've been alive
@@ArcNine9Angel Hi! So, I usually carry a reusable water bottle that has water in it with me when I am going out somewhere for an extended amount of time, that way I can avoid drinking from a disposable plastic waterbottle. Typically, there are water fountains or tap water around, but if not, then I will either wait til I get home, or if I'm desperate, I will drink juice or pop instead (I know its not healthy, but this situation rarely happens haha!)
I didn’t get migraines for literally all of my life until I was about 23 and my first one, I genuinely thought I was about to have an aneurysm. Thank goodness I get them rarely but my heart goes out to everyone who gets them frequently.
For me, migraines have become slightly lesser since the time I changed countries. Back in India, I used to have migraines everyday after returning back from uni. The light of the sun used to hurt my head and made me puke so much. Since the time, I'm in the UK, it has certainly lessened a lot. Also now as I know what are the triggers for my migraine, I make sure to stay away from loud sounds, noise, bright lights, strong smells, changing temperatures or anything to make me sensitive. Even crying gives me a migraine.
The worst when you bend down or Stand up from laying or sitting and your head feels like it’s going to explode 😭
Oh my God, yes
Exactly
Also when it feels like the migraine is fading away and you make one wrong movement and it does a full 180
You hear your heartbeat in your ear and you feel the pain sooooo much
Yess and it’s literally pounding and pressing against your skull
The moment your migraine starts to die down is such a relief. It feels like you just finished a 400 m race and your muscles are starting to receive oxygen again.(but like in your head) Painful. But relieving.
But then you'll react in horror when you can actually feel it coming back full force.
And then you can finally feel the relief to actually sleep and relax without feeling like your whole body is aching.
Yess I feel the "I CAN CONQUER THE WORLD NOW" moments. But it's not that gr8 overall as it encourages mood swings.
Exactly what depressed person feels before death
Yeah, I can compare it to feeling actually good. If you are in a bad mood then you get a migraine, afterwards if it dissappeard you feel just awesome. Like you even forgot how good you can actually feel. Weird af, but amazing.
The throbbing. The nausea. Throwing up. The pounding. Constant pain. Its awful. 😭😢
Yeah it is, I hope it gets better 👍
Well, we voted him out so hopefully life will be better for everyone.
The blind spots are most sickening
I low-key like it when I throw up cause it kinda relieves the migraine
Yep I had ALL THESE SYPTOMS A FEW WEEKS BACK. Guys THAT WAS SO PAINFUL
Is it just me or after you just had a migraine attack ,you're scared of even moving your body cause you feel like it will come back again. You just sit still until you're 100% sure it's over.
Had that last year and I puked and it made it worse 👍🏻
I believed they are called Migraine Clusters
Absolutely!
This!
I feel ya.. crushing pain in the head, nausea, puking my guts out for hours. . All of it! 😑
Plus extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
Sometimes I think that I'm having a stroke, it's terrifying.
ive had migraines since i was 13 and still everytime, i have a panic attack cause i think i’m having a stroke
I thought i was having a stroke one day bc i couldn't speak. It was the first migraine of many to come
Can relate
My first sign of a oncoming migraine is getting tongue-tied or the inability to think of words. It's so awful.
The first time that happened to me I thought I was having a stroke or I had a brain tumor.
Does anyone ever that after migraine “hangover”, almost as of your brain is in a fog after going through a migraine.
YES! I thought I'm the only one. I'd sometimes still take painkillers for this. It's like a muscle soreness post workout, not similar but almost
Yes I feel drained and thirsty. Also want to run a do all that I couldnt for the time I had a migraine but have to wait to kinda recover from the migraine-hangover.
And the fatigue, like you ran a marathon. Even though you couldn't do anything all day but try and manage the pain!

its been over 15 years since they started and I haven't had a day without one so I really don't know about that. I am just glad they got the passing out under control and it has been awhile since I had vertigo in my sleep. but saying that I know it will happen again soon.
Does anyone also experience migraine “anxiety” where you stress so much about getting a migraine that you end up getting one anyway?
Oh damn yes.. It is happening with me.
Yep. Little speckle in my eye, is that it? Am I spending the rest of the day in bed? Only to watch it disappear

I understand you all too well. I also have chronic migraines. I hope you're feeling okay today.
Hi! I am 22 and I also have chronic migraine and it's day 40 already. I already consulted with a neurologist and he gave me over the counter medicine but lifestyle habits alone could actually help me to have a mild-moderate migraines each day.

Yeah, I remember my best friend always being annoyed by my migraines, as she would always roll her eyes at my “sorry, I won’t make it tonight” caused by the pain - UNTIL she didn’t start having migraines herself, she apologized to me for her behavior but it still kinda hurts to this day :/
@@MajoradeMayhem Yes I experience this too! I once lost my vision while driving, thankfully I made it home!

I'm glad I got educated on what really happens inside my brain to cause me so much pain.
I get the exactly same symptoms as you. Horrible things

With me, they stopped saying this after I had thrown up and passed out in the classroom a few times during first grade. Luckily, my mum has migraines herself. She would have given the teachers/pupils a piece of her mind if anyone had tried to play it dow .
yes!!! i would literally sob because of the pain, i had to start bringing advil liquigels to school with me when i was 10
Identifying and understanding my triggers have helped me avoid frequent attacks.

I think I can safely say I have lived about 50% of my last couple years with a migraine. Honestly it's so crippling. Makes you want to not do anything and makes everything so much harder to do. Don't know the specific causes yet, but improving my diet, working out, and being aware of when I eat my last meal before bed has made them occur less frequently.

My first one happened when I was in my mid 20's, that was over 30 years ago. I still get them, but I have noticed a reduction in frequency and severity since I was put on an aspirin therapy regimen. As bad as the pain eventually becomes, I prefer to deal with it instead of the preceeding aura that prevents me from seeing for a while.
@@littlefox8352 omg, Im so sorry to hear that? Are you considering the implant? Is it painful everyday?
I first got mine round about the same age too.
Me too 😭 started when I was 10
mine stared at 12 too
In my case it started around when I was 7years old, right now I am in my 20s and still suffering.
Yes, its a pain and I miss out on some events BUT nothing is worth getting a migraine.
i’ve had migraines ever since childhood, but never understood why i got them and how it happened until later on in life. this was very insightful!
pretty sure one of the triggers for mine is saturated fats... its a crying shame that my mother makes the most delicious potato bake of which im addicted but damn its oily...

@@Kunuk_els where’s the top of your head
Ugh.

😮😮
I’ve had migraines since I was 3. They never get better and the frequency and length of each episode varies. I hate how debilitating they are. Sometimes I watch my weekends just waste away because of a migraine. Most times I wish I could rip which ever eyeball is hurting that time out. I try to work through them but I also get to the point where thinking hurts and I can’t even speak. I hate migraines.
It’s really crummy to be exhausted and debilitated on weekends. It’s existing, not living.
@@LadyNightshade I go see a neurologist every three months. I get Botox quarterly and now take ubrevly instead of imitrex. If I don’t catch it in time then it’s lights out.
@@robynw8223 no triptans, Botox for prevention or aimovig is what we now are having entered into Canada and it is a cgrp receptor block I know they have one in the states under another name. They come closer each year to not a cure obviously, but better ideas to help and more knowledge of what can cause some of them
As someone who has chronic migrains i really appreciate this vide. Living with Extreem migrains is so draning but I'm still learning how to peacefully live with them
I've recently started to write down everytime I get a migraine to identify possible triggers. Crying helps. I feel like my body is trying to tell me something.
Crying is the only thing that helps!
I've been tracking my migraines for several years with migraine buddy app... I still couldn't figure it out... then I had a really hard week at work and a migraine every day and realized it's stress! (Plus several other things.)
I’ve started doing the same!!
Crying for some reason helps my migraine when i start to panic. It calms me
Crying tends to cause mine 😪 think the tension aggravates something and it spirals. Always have to snap myself out of it when I feel the tears coming now. Like Elsa, 'conceal, don't feel.'
Question for fellow migrainers:
When the pain kicks in, do your migraines ever make you daydream or strongly dream in your sleep? In the past few years I've noticed that it's like my mind won't stop forcing my imagination into overdrive and it feels like the whole harry potter series played out in my sleep before I'll wake up again!
I think that’s called a “fever dream”
When I have a migraine, I often have more intense and crazy dreams than normally and I also wake up a couple of times, so I have not just one crazy dream, but three or four, and every time after sleep I’m just like “wtf just happened???”
Im having fever Dreams when i sleep with a migraine
Fever dreams - literally feels like a series of realistic nightmares, one after the other
Vivid dreams yes that’s what I also have
Nausea wasn't mentions. I am currently trying to rehydrate after being sick to my stomach over the weekend. All caused by a migraine.
Same it's horrible
Hope you feel better soon!
Same
You should get electrolytes (like a powerade or something along those lines. Please no sugar. We know how that can backfire)
They’re horrible things
THIS i avoid talking or even thinking abt it bcs im afraid ill summon it in the near future
What about the 😠 look you give people when someone asks “how’s your headache now?” Just me?🤨
I also read that chocolate (my vice) worsened it.
@@LiyaZuluM There are chemicals in chocolate which are chemically similar to caffeine. I used to crave chocolate pre-migraine...
cutting down my caffiene and cutting way down on processes foods helped a lot.
Now I’m 17. In terms of the psychological effect though, even just hearing the word
“migraine” causes me to be very nauseous to the point where it feels like I might vomit, and occasionally when I’m tired and can’t see properly, sometimes I start hyperventilating with fear that it might be a migraine.
You're a strong person. I can't even bear a minor headache :)
Oh I think I might have one very very soon.
