Teeth grinding! I know you addressed the jaw in this one, but wondering if there are any more that can be done to release whatever it is that triggers grinding.

This is the first time I’ve heard migraines explained! and what muscles are involved.
Although I had an idea, with the eye pain, the muscles in the back of the head, neck, etc.
i’ve always wondered why I feel like I had tooth aches, jaw pain when I get a migraine lately getting them around every 6 to 10 days lasting at least 3 days. My doctor said no idea why , but hers a prescription.
Your excercises helped me in less than 15 mins ! Thank you so very much.

If I gently massage those muscles at the back of my skull, I get nauseous, and the only relief is vomiting. which, in turn, makes the pounding headache worse. Vomiting does relieve the nauseous felling, but no relief from the headaches.

This a really good tutorial. My partner used to get migraines for 3-4 days weekly plus recovery. These headaches really made him miserable with pain, nausea and no sleep. He cannot take nsaids as he is on blood thinners so it's mostly white knuckles for a day or 3. He got off gluten which has allowed him to go months without a migraine. Now when he gets one he uses magnesium in some form or other right away to relax muscles. I could see myself giving him massage to help with the pain. This is the kind of tutorial that makes me very glad I subscribe to this channel.

When I was in the navy, it seemed MDs (well, officers in general) tended to look down on we junior enlisted. Wartime medicine, I spoze. I was stricken by a migraine attack once (1970s) when I went to medical (I had never had a migraine before) and the MD who saw me actually took the time to explain to me what was happening. I find it amazing that much of what she told me about what we knew about migraines back then .... is repeated here. Thank you very much!!

I have been doing this splenius muscle stretch every day for a month now. I had a chronic point of pain on the back of my head which disappeared after a few days of doing the stretch and never came back. I'm having a hormonal migraine now and usually the pain is moderate, but now it's one of the most mildest migraine I've ever had. Today I was watching the morning news, they talked about tension headaches and migraines originating from the splenius muscle. I thought about Dr. Rowe, what a wonderful human being he is to share his knowledge with us.

The best thing you can do is pay attention to what you ate within the last 24hrs, as you move along in detoxing, the headache will sooner after you ate, until its almost immediate. Detoxing is the most important part of the healing process and unless you smacked your head, headaches come from food.

After suffering with migraines most of my life, and well-intentioned doctors who tried to offer relief, I finally got proactive on discovering my TRIGGERS and a referral to a neurologist who gave me a preventative medication while I adjusted my life-style. I also found counseling very helpful for addressing the anxiety and depression that are a perfectly NORMAL response to chronic intense pain.
I hope you find relief SOON! ❤

Hi, I don't comment often but I just wanted to thank you for this video. I've had migraines for as long as I remember (I'm 27), sometimes several days in a row. Never knew what caused them but I thought it was related to my left eye since it always came from there. I tried paracetamol, tried to relax in the dark with migraine relief music, tried to stay in a silent room and nothing really worked. I tried your exercises one night and IT WORKED! I do the first exercise everytime I sense a migraine is coming and it really works, I can feel how the muscle is tense and painful when I massage it and how I get better afterwards. Thanks again for this, it's going to change my life !

Buy a bottle of the amino acid NAC. It will be capsules, about 500- 600 mg each. Take one on an EMPTY stomach with 6 oz of WATER, first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. It will thin mucus in your sinuses and lungs to clear it out very quickly. As a rule, use it as soon as you notice any extra mucus in your throat or sinuses, BEFORE it builds up, so you can Keep a clear head! Taking it on an empty stomach, and by itself, will ensure proper uptake.

I don't like going to physical therapy when it is recommended by a doctor because I have always had the worst experience with them, they don't know what they are doing. This is one of the reasons why I want to move out of Minnesota and get somewhere where I am getting the help and support that I need, concerning my body health. Once again thank you so much. I must admit just watching and doing lowered the noise level a little-bit. After over ten years of this noise anything is helpfull and I can't wait to see some progress months from now? Bookmarking for sure. What would be more helpfull is if you actually go thru all the exersises so I can follow along and then I actaully do all the exercises. I stop when you stop. I know that sounds what-ever but that is just the way I am at 69yrs old.

      See a neurologist.
      There are wonderful medications available.
I suffered for many years...7 to 12 migraines a month.
Now, I give myself a monthly injection called Ajovy.
      I am now migraine free.
I also take a dissolvable pill Nurtec when I feel a migraine coming on..I am feeling better within 2 hours.
      Please, stop your suffering.
      Help is out there.
      Be well

I've had cluster headaches (sharp acute pain behind and above left eye) for years before they were discussed on the internet. They went away for some years since 2015 and have recently returned.
As an engineer, I'm very observant. This time around, I'm seeing relationship between stress, occipital nerves and muscles, sinuses, and possible jaw shifts back into place, due to ortho braces I had installed. This time I will look forward to trying strength training on my neck and shoulders, since bilateral pain often uncovers weakness in opposite muscles.

Yes I got those type. Try taking a dose of B3 500gm as soon as you get the aura, then you don’t get the headache. Best part I can take b3 where ever I go and don’t need to run home.
But these exercises make sense as I’m sure you tense up even more when you are afraid of the coming headache.
I think the B3 makes sure the blood vessels expand through the tight muscles and relieves the pressure on the capillaries.
As I look back over the 60yrs, the basic problem was and is mental physical tension. Yeah🎉🎉🎉

    • @Yt-le2mu
      @Yt-le2mu ปีที่แล้ว +1

There is no cure or permanent solution. But a healthy lifestyle with no stress and good exercise might help reduce the occurrence. Also check for the repetitive food triggers. Keep their consumption under control.

I dont trust chiropractors. But your clear understanding of the muscle and skeletal system is why I do take your advice. You have helped me and my girlfriend for a few diffraction issues with stretching and massages (no cracking dont like that and more flexible then most people, gymnastics) ive got my fair share of wins in competition sports and podiumed enough as well to know enough about the human body. You continue to teach me things I wish I knew. Might have a a win or two more! Thanks again my friend! The only chiropractor I trust.

Feeling the beginning of a migraine, I stumbled upon this video, and, although I can't say the pain has completely gone, I can bear to look at my phone screen enough to type this. Usually it'd be a pitch black, silent room and a bowl in case I vomit by now. Thank you so much

Great tips that show exactly how to release the tension building up! It never occurred to me to physically and manually stretch out the muscles that had tension! I had always reached for the meds. Liked and Subbed! The good word of the day is that you have been forever perfected and redeemed, all sins have already been washed, there is no more trying to do good to somehow meet a standard, we couldn’t so that’s why Jesus had come and died to wash away all our sins. it’s already done! (Heb 10:14,17. Heb 9:12, Isaiah 53:6)
