He is a good coach. Yes performance in Bundesliga was not upto expectations. Also player relations may be an issue. But the senior players are leaving anyway. He may not be in the Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel category. But the club should have tried to retain him.

@@jascha2765bottled the league last season and was poor this season the champions league papered over the cracks, they have players who are old with no resale value and not many young players coming through. Dortmund feel stale and when Bayern have dropped off they are nowhere to be seen.

Actually, Terzic more off became a face. This ESPN journalism is useless. After the Bundesliga break the majority of coaching was done by Sahin and Bender. So, it was expected. Based upon the kind of squad Dortmund had, 5th position is way below par. Although I love this guy, I still think that Dortmund should have given him at least one more season.
