What's Watkins done when he's come on? I wouldn't mind seeing Toney come on but Kane is England's record goal scorer, there's no country in the world that wouldn't start him.
@@CraigT9864 Thats what the whole England team has done so far, with the exception of Palmer when he came on. If England create chances he will score, just like he has done in just about every game he's played in this season.

This is rubbish Darren. Kane has strolled around the pitch for the last five games. one touch in the penalty area during the Denmark game said it all. He should be nowhere near the squad on Sunday. If he isn't fit then he should say so. Another display like we have had from Gareths like we have had so far then they are to blame for England coming home. On Sunday the forward line should be Palmer, Toney or Watkins and Gordon. Get on the front foot and use the best form of defence ie. attack. Stop this defend at all costs by passing sideways or backwards. Midfield should be Rice, Mainoo and either Foden or Bellingham. Not both.
No I’m not. Austria has been fantastic. Very progressive and technically proficient. Showing fearlessness and plenty of fortitude. They keep mentioning individual players, like Kane, Foden and Bellingham. This is a team sport at the end of the day. They most definitely do not look or play cohesively as a team.
Don’t see how talksport can have those two in the same room again, let alone the same show. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from both men. I think we’re all accepting of civil disagreement, but to CLASH on live radio in that manner is just unacceptable. Shame on talksport for promoting this filth.

Use him as a supersub to scare defences late in the second half.....its better to use him like that than watching him go for the ball thwt another england player is going for, time and time again. If Bellingham plays the 8, do we actually know if he can play on the half-turn and be press-resistant (legitimately asking bc I don't watch La Liga much)? Because Rice couldn't do that. And right now, the only one who's shown an aptitude for it so far is Mainoo.
Whilst he shouldn’t have been in the squad on form the on-pitch leadership of Henderson is badly missed. He’d ensure the team was more compact and pressing as a unit. The lack of any proper organisation is clear. The first job of the Captain should be to make sure the team is doing its job tactically, which clearly isn’t happening.
It’s not arrogant to say it’s the “easier” route to the final, it just reflects the fact that the teams on this side are lower ranked and on average higher ranked teams should do better. Doesn’t mean it’ll pan out that way
