I was there for 5 years. It was well worth the time spent. I do worry about the cost of living there being so high, at least on the housing side. But every time I go back to visit I find it so easy to get around compared to American cities. No car needed.
I do wonder why NO ONE wants to stay with Winnie Xitler? Hmm. That's a hard one!
because pooh bear takes all the honey 🍯 and leave none for anyone else 😂
Welcome to Taiwan.
Those foreign students knew that Taiwanese locals would prefer the status quo & would vote for democracy. That massive unemployment in China, social unrest, dysfunctional economic model & Beijing's aggression towards neighbor's on sea disputes would determine the outcome of the election.
Not enough going on in Taiwan. Especially for journalism
WTF R U TYPING ABOUT
Job prospects are difficult, it is difficult for all graduating students in Asia to land a good paying job after graduation. Unless you are able to draw foreign investment from your home country....
They sensed that there would be peaceful reunification, which meant good job prospects on the mainland. They would have gone back home as fast as they could if they thought it would be invaded. Students are not stupid.
No reunification. Taiwan is a sovereign country 💚🤍💚 🇹🇼
@@secularsekai8910 We'll see the outcome of the election in a few weeks. That will set the direction.
@@johnlay3040 KMT will not sell their country, as much as Wu Maos want them to. Neither party wants to live under Communist boots.
@@secularsekai8910 The ultimate goal is reunification under the Republic of China (the true China) rule.
The mainland itself suffers from unemployment, manufacturing exodus, massive fiscal deficit, a drop in property market & the flight of foreign investment. Those foreign students knew it was better for them to stay in Taiwan believing that the locals would never exchange democracy with reunification.
