Mine too, Evoir might be “good” because he’s young, if you had lived as long as Odin in a cruel world , you’ll probably be kinda “cruel” too, very few understand this. Evoir is just like Odin, they both had much in common, arrogance, wisdom, selfish, glory.
Evoir was able to refuse Odin only because he’s as arrogant as Odin.

This game had me tear up a couple of times, I very rarely do that, and Eivor isn’t even my favorite protagonist, but god damn, he/she saw some great moments. Especially at the end, when Odin tried to get him to stay and he offers him glory and honor, and asks what more Eivor needs. And Eivor simply says, “Everything else.” God damn, that was beautiful. Great character growth, he no longer cares of Viking pride and glory. I really hope they expand on that with him joining the hidden ones.

This Odin is way better even here he’s not menacing the things he says are like he’s teaching you to embrace the “real” world which is what he should’ve been more like with Atreus rather than having him study the green crack that has no significance until the next game whenever that’s released. I think Odin got so much negative portrayals after the arrival of Christianity. Real odins lore is very similar to the journey of transformation to the spiritual conscious being that one can become. He has a striking similarity to shiva. Imir mimir all generally means memories or physical existence. Shiva did kill his physical form (metaphorically killed or in outher words gave away identification to his physical existence, something very crucial for spirituality). He did this by shutting or even destroying his dualistic eye and become single eyed .
Seeing odin similarities! He was also the wanderer, all father, origin of creation etc, he is wise, seeks for truth, occult.
The reason why odin and shiva beats destiny and become immortal is they have renounced physical existence or the dualistic eye, and now in unity or in yoga, atleast that's what shiva is. Odin's original stories could have been similar but got on negative shades due to successor bigotry of christianity to polytheism (or paganism as they derogatorily call it as).
So culture does add flavour to the lores. Nothing wrong, unless we take it as objective truths!
But the subjective and spiritual truth underlying the stories remains and i urge people to understand that.
Its mysticism, yoga as called in east.
Unfortunately i think Europeans don't appreciate odin for his greatness anymore. To much negetive prejudice lol
    Open up folks.

And are we already not manic consumers, who dont care anything other than their own survival?
That's why economy vs ecology has always a clear winner. Unfortunate.!
So being judgemental is easy you see. It may not have anything to do with reality. You read what i wrote first. Then you'll understand hopefully lol

Usually, female video game voice actors tend to be better than male ones when playing the same character, like in Fallout 4, AC Odyssey or Dishonored 2. Here I agree that Havi’s voice is better.
That said, female Eivor is the canonical choice. There is no male Eivor, just traces of Odin’s Isu DNA. Even when playing as male Eivor, documents talking about him call him Varinsdottir, not Varinsson.
