This is a really good product for short term use, touring vans. I purchased one a few years ago, however after seasonal use it became very brittle and virtually disintegrated.
Brilliant video, thank you. I've been using one of these for three years now and it does the job perfectly but, just one thing to watch. Earwigs and other bugs love to crawl inside them. I've put white insulation tape all around the outside of mine to seal it so bugs can't get in.
Nice product but a bit bulky. We use the Isabella rounded specific wheel arch cover that runs round the dedicated rail round top of wheel arch. Costs about £15. My wife also bought me the Bailey one that was a hefty £40.
I was initially concerned about the size of it but as it’s thin it doesn’t take up much room. I’ve seen the Bailey one but looks like hard work putting it on. Will see how we get on with the Draught Stoppa over the season. Thanks for comments and watching 😊
We've not got a wheel arch cover yet, usually try to cover the area with the rest of our clutter 😂 I would be very tempted with this product though - and very well demonstrated👍

I like the look of this product. Looks much better than normal draught skirt. I dont have an awning yet but hope to purchase one soon. When I do I think I will also get myself a Draught Stoppa. Thanks for the info and video Martin.
great review thanks we were just looking for a wheel cover then saw this , we have ordered one for our twin axle, we find that with a new van having just been polished then the limpets always fall off, hopefully this will be great thanks colin

Hi Martin u finely got the draft stoppa that I mentions to u before Christmas just gone they r brilliant no messing about with sucker and lite weight easy to clean I've had mine three years now and still like new I still keep mine in the packaging when storing it away just to pertect it from getting damage glad u happy with it like your miss apps at the end cheers kev

Great idea, typically Motorhomes don’t have rails for fitting draft excluder but can see this working around the wheel. I think you need to check your spelling... Draft, Draught, Giraffe 😂 Thanks for the giggle 🤭 Trev

Excellent piece of kit, looks good as well. I always find the wheel cover sags despite whatever you do to keep it in place. Easy to fit as well. I’m sure someone will have a go at making their own as there does not seem much to it, are you watching Dan Trudgian?
One of these came with my “ new to me” caravan two years ago and has worked great. Seeing your video I seem to be missing the bracket that fits the rail to the strap , wonder if you can buy them separate?
Great suggestion I now have one . A question for you if you can answer having bought a twin axle caravan the awning length is 18 what size carpet should I buy ( length of awning floor ?? Width of awning floor ?? ) I carn’t find the size anywhere .
I would measure the floor space when it’s up and go off that. A standard awning depth is usually 2.5mtrs. We found eBay the best place for awning carpet, I would also get a breathable underlay as some sites request it for grass pitches. Hope that helps.

Hi Sheila, Yes we still use the draught Stoppa and happy to report no issues with it. We changed our wheel lock to a Nemesis which sticks out a bit further on the wheel but are still able to get the stoppa in front of it and velcro strap around the alloy wheel. Hope that helps, Martin

Our air awning is great and not had any problems with it, however it is very heavy and would go back to a conventional awning with carbon fibre poles…just can’t afford the 2.5k to buy one 🤣

Excellent idea. Our motorhomes has no awning rail on the skirt, but think it would still work, but I use suckers to stick the draft excluder on.
