Those LTZ's dyno 30hp at the wheels.... The Honda doesn't even make that at the crank. But there's a reason. Air cooled vs liquid cooled. The LTZ being liquid cooled, has higher compression, more advanced ignition and a more aggressive stock cam, since that liquid cooling means it has the ability to manage the extra heat from high compression, advanced ignition timing and a bigger cam.
Rear end carrier and axle is where Suzuki cheaps out on that quad... Even since the first day it came out, I remember reading the review in the magazine. They bent it the first time they hit a jump. Things made out of swiss cheese
Proof that rider makes the difference. Both are great quads.
Agree
That 400ex is the greatet trail bike ever made thing will rip for 20 years abd love it
The other guy cant ride that good he got on the ltz and lost
Honda can be faster

He wasn’t ringing out the Honda like you did 😂😂😂. He was early shifting a little.
I am bias i love the ltz 400 sports quad better then the honda 40ex
This shows the rider matters...
yh id rather time myself instead of having a race
That's what I told her.
Which would be better for ripping corners out of the 2?
You will always be better off starting out in second unless your geared to where first goes longer. If that makes any sense
LTZ should be much faster
Stock 32HP vs the Hondas 28HP.
Weight
I have both love them
ok
We now know who the better rider is but not the faster quad lol
Suzuki all the way!
Stock and mod for mod the ltz will always be the faster of the 2
Suzuki of course
You got to redo the vid after today
Those Suzuki LTZ will rip… they also rip the carrier right out.. and rip your pants while ripping farts.. cranking 180’s

also Ltz 400 has better acceleration the then Honda 400 ex
not if you put a slow enough rider on it
No es la nave es el piloto
You're just a better rider than hin.

Ltz 40-45
That makes sense, it seems like the ltz has just a little more
