- After her husband suddenly passed away, Melody decided it was time to downsize and cut her expenses. She found the perfect Tiny Home, which she lovingly named her Tiny Castle, and now lives in a Tiny House Village surrounded by other like-minded people. Her expenses were also slashed and she no longer has to worry about financials.

I love how Melody decorated her place. Its adorable and definitely does not look cramped or tiny. It looks perfect.
It’s really sad she lost her husband after 40 years, but she looks like she’s thriving in her new community and home. It’s really cosy and nicely decorated 🤍 I’m sure her husband is looking down on her being so proud

Her home is lovely and she has made some very smart decisions. In downsizing the interior "stuff" that I have seen so many people clutter up their homes with, her home actually looks "big". One of the reasons why this place looks so beautiful is that she has been purposeful about the interior decorating. Just lovely!

Out of all the tiny homes I’ve seen, this by far is the best. The layout isn’t the typical narrow block and the interior is so light and airy.
For me, because the landscaping is treeless, yard-less and dismal and the lot is in such close proximity of the neighbors, no matter how nice the interior is, this would make it all very undesirable for me.
Yes that's a sad choice for the village planning.☹️☹️☹️

Yep space has become an expensive thing in Idaho, I wanted to buy just a couple acres up where I am in North Idaho and now there isn't anything affordable, so disappointing.

This is the first tiny home I've seen that actually feels like a traditional home, thanks to all of the traditional furniture. I love the idea of downsizing, but i have some family pieces i couldn't imagine getting rid of. She seems like a lovely person, and i wish her many happy years in her beautiful home!

Melody, I think you have the perfect tiny house. I'm also (under) 5' tall and your choice of a (very comfy looking) twin bed makes such sense to me. I've slept in a twin for years (I'm 65) and it's always seemed more than enough (and easier to make up, wash bedding, etc). You have done such a beautiful job decorating your tiny. I wish you a long healthy wonderful life there at ITH.

It is such a beautiful home! I just don't like how barren the area is. Hardly a tree or green area in sight, or even a garden.
I feel the same. The house is beautiful but the area looks is barren and reminds me of the old row house neighborhoods. Much to cramped and no privacy. That area of TN is gorgeous and one should hope for more space. There are tiny home communities in the GA mountains that are lush with larger lots. Not to,keen on hearing my neighbor's toilet flushing.😢
It’s encouraging to see this woman who had to make a big change after a devastating life change and she made it through and she seems like she’s in a great place and a wonderful outlook.

It looks like such an awesome place to live because you really get to know people and not feel isolated if things go sideways. It’s also very affordable option .
