Maybe it’s stockholm syndrome but I’ve come to really enjoy watching you draft this format. Hated it at first but you’ve gotten very good at the draft (lots of lessons about being open since average card quality is so high and changing gears late is therefore ok) and the games have almost never felt unwinnable for you (white sun’s twilight nonwithstanding).
Agreed! I parted today with this format drafting a sweet BW midrange deck with a pile of removal, efficient toxic thingumbobbers and double Vivisection Evangelist. Went 7-1, defeating a Nissa and a Wanderer in the process :)
I think as a couple others have said you could have had the sweetest blu black proliferate deck. Double immobiliser, drown, dose, whisper, TEKUTHAL! Omg I wish I had your set in this draft!
This might be the worst set to come out since i started drafting in zendikar rising. It made me quit MTG, pointless grind and just awful fast gameplay. I've come back every so often and its always been pure regret.
At last, weird format tbh. also somewhat weird printruns (one or two color heavy packs, which made signals etc. very confusing), looking forward to some change.
I watched like 20 phyrexia videos last few days and all I see is: 5-6 lands in a row from the top while you have 7 in play already. But flood gates opens only after you draw your 2nd color turn 5-7.. How this happening is luck based? And if you are that unlucky in mth then you should have buy some lottery tickets becouse something should even it out.

I've been seeing so many of the same kind of hands lately where you just get only one color of land and the opposite color of spells
Just drafted an Atraxa deck on quick draft, went 7-1. Felt good!

this is the most miserable format I can remember in quite some time. looking forward to SIR or literally anything else I don't care.
