Your drafting and playstyle helped me get my first 7-2 draft run with this set. You're a ridiculously smart player and I appreciate the hell out of your commentary.
I’ve definitely found that using skitterfang for anything is usually worth it. Sometimes you get burned by not having the value later but an early poison counter or even an early 2 point lifelink hit makes all the difference in this agro heavy format. They have to spend to kill it which slows down their board flood and that little bit of health can be all the difference to stabilize. (Combo the flying with mandible justicar if they already got that early board presence has already come up a couple of times)
that game where you couldve taken annex sentry was so winnable. ambushing with the chrome prowler wouldve been so nice and annex sentry is great vs red white where you can eat a token at no risk of them getting it back
yeah white sun prolly my highest rated card. I've had a few games I won that were basically unwinnable. scenarios where it was literally the only card in the entire set that could've saved me. the win rate after casting above 7 mana has gotta be near 100 percent. the wanderer right behind it though. had one deck that had both.
I think that round was misplayed. Should have kept the 3 mana exile creature for sure to get back in the game and kept prowler back to get a good trade/block with it and eye of malcator. Had that been done the opponents side of the board would have been cleared.
I think this format suffers from a lack of poison counter interaction. I would have loved a cycle of common cards that removed some number of counters from permanent. I feel like that was a design choice that was not explored at the common level.
After the game against seki you complain that Eye of Malcator should have just been a creature, when you could have in fact played 2 different creatures at 3 mana, but went for the greedy Eye play and tried to race a Boros deck while having Twilight in hand (guaranteed win if you just play defensively). The loss had nothing to do with Eye of Malcator, it was just poor sequencing. I was also very surprised that you said you like to durdle. I could not disagree more, I think you are a very aggressive player. Even with decks that are perfect for durdling. I wish you actually durdled more, I would love nothing more.

Yeah dude, he’s slick AF

"Stings, doesn't it?" -Vraska Maguire
"Burns, doesn't it?" - Lina Inverse
"I dont know why I started talking like that"
I love you dude lol

“I am a little concerned about a hazardous blast from their end.” Nice
If you like that blue white cephalopod, odds are decent that you get that blue “everything is an artifact” card on the wheel for kicks
Great video! I'm excited for Bo3, I have been wanting to try bo3 but my favorite TH-cam creators usually play Bo1
THE DEEP SULTRY SOUNDS OF MY MORNING VOICEEE
Lol at OP name at 35:02
it me
9:55 - how many Retrofitters would it need for the pick here to be the Sweeping Lookout?
Do you never pick the common lands anymore ?

53:42 - why not play the cat after they have attacked, trade it with the rebel and block with the eye?

Eye is a fickle one for sure. A friend of mine went 7-0 with a UW deck with 6 eyes, pretty funny
Yo Kenji can you please do the 'sweet, sultry' exaggerated morning voice more? That was extremely pleasant to listen to
I thought for sure you'd pick the Golem at 13:30.
I swear the shuffler is broken recently lol
What a turn around for game 1. OP could have been aggressive way earlier.
Should you not actively ignore blue completely in this format?
Cepholopod is definitely my favourite uncommon in the set
Nice deck :)
Nummy turned into Theo (past LA radio personality).
Numot on the rise
This is maybe the sleepiest kenji i ever seen
blue is my best color in Phyrexia grinding many opponents out with big budds :D
Sunlights Twlight is such a OP draft card horrible to play against
you should have Night Kenji do some drafts.
The 2 mana toxic 2 undying enchantment in black is it playable?
Awesome voice 😍
Nummy do you ever play constructed. I'm sure the answer is pretty obvious and im sure you've answered this 1000 times.
Your voice is sooooooooooo deeeeeep. take care of your health my friend.
The Arena Matchmaker has figured out how to put you against counter archetypes with bomb rares. Its simulated magic. Not real life
Seems like people are coming around to this format?
gets sun.... proceeds to get in every game he plays .... me: gets 3 mythic bombs never see them in my draft and loose 0/3
Shuffler’s fine
Eye of Makalaka bad. :(
❤

How to win in this format: draw better
G1 why do you care to put counters on the spelldancer? You are literally playing a deck with 0 sorceries and 0 instants.
Guys I don't think kenji likes this format

The next match on the other hand, that was actually a game you couldn't have done anything. Flooding sucks.
