not sure what was up with 22:00 and burning Nissa rather than the Testament Bearer on defense keeping the Bardiche token would keep us at 6 life and have 5 toughness(6 if you move to Leonin) and a live draw from your land; with some slim outs. Annex Sentry does the best job; but I think many cards would survive the turn to give another draw to maybe get a Slinger or Wanderer
I typically don't pass up Magnetic Sprinter. Maybe the first time there was a better card. But it's a really strong draft pick even if not playing oil. It is also used in pro red rush deck that uses no oil. And ruin land has started seeing use in various decks to punish nonbasic lands. But even without the land trigger that doesn't work very often. You can play it as a 3/3 to keep on the board. I definitely would not take second chimney over first aspirin bladecraft. in face i rather pass up a first chimney for a second bladecraft. it helps really much with higher equipment and curve. It helped me. go 7-0 in Premier. I was thinking not to throw the land on the last misc because the curve is really high. And I was shocked about dumping the swooper that helps in the air. And they playing so much removal you need cheaper mana creatures. Packs were nice. I think there was better choices. And might have been fun to splash the black liliana of the vess.
I had a similar run today with a similarly busted deck. I had elesh norn, bloated contaminator, evolved spinoderm, annex sentry and just good creatures and good removal but had to mulligan a lot and was always flooded and screwed :/ FeelsBad
