Angry Karen shows up while I'm mowing an Elderly Couple's house and starts swearing at me demanding I come mow hers for free. She was extremely frustrated I was helping this Elderly Family out because they always get free handouts. I would have never anticipated having something like this happening.

I’ll subscribe. I do have an idea to share. I live in in MN and I happen to have enough money to get some yard maintenance, cutting the lawn and winter snow removal. We moved into this home when the kids were 5 and 2. I was 31 at the time and I’m almost 70 now. I did all the yard work, maintenance and snow shoveling.
One more thing we have on the property is one of the fire hydrants on the block. I took it upon myself to make sure the hydrant was accessible from the street and there was 365 degree access for the firefighters could het to every hose connection.
My challenge is I can’t do that much labor anymore so this past winter the hydrant got buried. I guess I got the people around me too dependent on me. Especially given nobody felt enough concern to dig out the fire hydrant. I just didn’t think I need to recruit a person to take over given my legs and lower back pain have kept me from doing as much as I once did.
I never did all of this for recognition because I did it because it needed to be done. So by the time winter ended no one has stepped up to take over. The City doesn’t have a plan and I don’t have a plan. It would be so nice if someone could help recruit a replacement. It would be great if a person like yourself could somehow recruit ant train volunteers on proper space management

Don't clean up for people like that disrespectful pregnant woman. She's not old. She has every ability to do it herself. Pregnant does not mean disabled. So please respect yourself and don't give in to anyone like her. Don't even go look at their yard It's your time energy and money that could be used for someone who deserves it. Not that bitch. It is a lot of work to deal with all that paperwork. She probably has the kid or kids on legal dope so she can get a nut check for them too. And at tax time the welfare really rolls in! All of this massive welfare is coming to an end soon since the USA is the modern Tower Of Babel!

I once raked up all the debris from my weeping willows & then we went to spend time with my mom for overnight. I came home & the piles were gone! My neighbors were awesome!

Nice boys, especially the oldest, who is a grown up, the middle one is about ten and the newest is under a year. She’s been blessed with Beautiful boys, but not necessarily in the correct way. No DAD around to help raise them really, except for the first one, who was blessed to have a friend take over as a Dad to him.

I used to do the same thing for my next door neighbor. When I mowed my lawn, I mowed hers, too. She didn't have a lawn mower, and I was just being neighborly. When she moved out and a young couple moved in, I continued the chore for them until they got their own lawnmower.
I got thank-yous, from those whose lawn I mowed and the other folks in the neighborhood, not complaints and demands like from the woman in this video.
Save your energy for the people who CANNOT help themselves not the ones that WON’T. You are awesome.

Obviously she is active enough to pick up trash or she would not pick up those looser type men to take off when things get tough

A very similar thing happened to me when I was in the navy. My shop did a "national day of caring" where we went out and helped an elderly woman clean her yard.
But then we got bombarded by several of her young adult, perfectly healthy neighbors who were literally sitting around on their porches with nothing to do and demanded we now clean their lawns. It was ridiculous.
My boss was normally a chill and nice guy but we were just awe struck at how rude and entitled they were and he told them to GTFO and leave us alone lol.

I have a feeling she gets handouts a lot more often than we'd think simply because she confronts people in that way and shocks them into helping her. How you held your tongue I’ll never know. There’s nothing stopping her from picking up the trash and if she’d set some boundaries for everyone (including herself) to put trash where it goes in the first place it wouldn’t be an issue. Yeah he caved hard. You don’t have to be rude back to her, but telling her that he might help her if she apologizes for the way she spoke to him and asks nicely and says please, the he would consider it. That’s what I’d do.

Her behavior is the equivalent of a kid throwing a tantrum because they can't get something at the store. A perfect example of why people not disciplining their children is a bad thing. Worst of all the guy gave in to it, shouldn't have even said I'll look at it. The cycle will just continue.

It's a way of dealing with them, Zoidberg them. "Oh yes my lady I'll be over at some point later to clean up your castle." Then when they leave go back to normal and forget about them as they've already forgotten about you. Forget them, it enrages them even worse as they believe they're the the exact center of the universe and everything revolves around their tiny faux personality.
You don't lose anything, people think it's hilarious if your tone comes off as sincere, and the psychopaths get forgotten and get *enraged* by it.
This is not a "handout." Rather, it is an act of kindness for someone who didn't ask but received this work as a free gift. That woman....well, that seems like a different situation. You do great work!

Rarely do i respond to this type of abuse, but if she approached me with the same attitude and disrespect she showed you, she would get the wrong end of a sharp tongue.

Just the fact that she had the audacity to stop you while you were working would be enough for me to tell her an ear full! I hate when I am doing yard work and someone stops to chat or ask me directions. She looks perfectly capable of taking care of her own lawn.
Sure, but that is a little different, a chat, yeah that would be annoying but asking directions doesnt take too much time, and is a nice thing to do to help out someone.
