When I was a kid we had moved to a brand new house/neighborhood. On the corner was a house that was not getting mowed and was overgrown. It hadn't been that way before so my dad, and a few other men in the neighborhood knocked on the door to see what was going on. Turns out the husband had a heart attack and was in the hospital. The wife and 2 children couldn't keep up with the yard work. The girl was 15, the boy 6. So my dad and these other men mowed her yard and cleaned things up for her. Sadly, the husband died. Up until the day we moved, my dad and these men took care of her yard, front and back. I hate snitches like this man. He should be ashamed of himself. Doesn't he have something better to do with his time than to snitch on a neighbor? You're such a kind person. God bless you!
Your story is exactly as I had as a teenager, my father taught us to respect our neighbors and help where possible. Mum was the same in the kitchen if she knew someone was alone and poorly, us kids would take down a bowl of thick soup as mum called a stew and a hunk of bread. When the neighbor recovered she'd get up to the house to help bottle fruit as a pay back, but what it was really was company for the person and a purpose in life. If we had the mower out we'd knock the top of another unkept lawn, we wouldn't edge it or things but knocking the top off would maybe kick em into gear and out they come and do things, dad would wander over with a beer or three. Next thing everybody is talking and doing. No snitches people who look out for one another, rather than the town levy fines on someone who can't afford lawn care seams a big going backwards to me.
when I had shoulder surgery this year and couldn't get out to mow my lawn in early spring, a man who mows my next door neighbor's lawn stopped by and mowed it for me at no charge. He said he saw how I always kept my lawn nice and neat and knew something was wrong so he asked my neighbor what was wrong. When she told him I had hurt my shoulder, he said he knew how I must have felt not being able to keep my yard maintained so he had to stop by and help me out. I sure was thankful for that!
What a great guy you are for telling that busy body that you don't get into the back story. Kindness doesn't need a back story. He's a nosy man who is the "boss" of the neighborhood.
I agree, although I believe he (Kevin, perfect name as it is the equivalent to the female name Karen), thinks he is the boss. How sad, he must not have many friends to have so much time on his hands. Instead of gossiping about the people, offer to help. He was way out of line bringing up what he thinks her financial situation is. Fantastic yard transformation!
Our POA in Magalia, CA; a bit above Paradise, CA, had a group of men that cut up old snags or downed trees. When they were done they donated the wood, mostly oak, to struggling families like mine. I didn't have to buy wood for 10 years, usually got 2 to 4 cords a year. Thank you Major, RIP, God bless you!

Over 50 years old, kept my daughters rental property lawn cut and looking good. Every day for 3 weeks would cut for 30 minutes with push mower. Weed eat for 15 minutes. Only one week of rest. Then start again the following month. Did this for 5 years. She sold property for double price she paid for it. Now in apartment, they are keeping it up. Thanks for letting guy know, "everyone has problems." We are here to help when we are good at doing things...God bless you!

Neighborhood snitch. Offer to help instead of calling the law. Bless you Brian.
Yeah. This "Nosy Nate," that's calling the Law on people for stuff like that, sounds like the equivalent of a "Teacher's Pet." He's apparently a regular busy-body, that just can't be happy, unless he's making life miserable for other folks. He needs to be reported-for Harassment
Try living next door to a property like this. Rats, mice bring in snakes, the entire neighborhood suffers when homeowners are neglectful, makes selling your house more difficult. My city offers tools for rent in order to help people keep up their property.
It always amazes me that people only care about their neighbors overgrown yards when someone comes to cut it and help the neighborhood they live in…they put more effort into “getting to the bottom of it” than just taking a mower and “getting to the bottom of the grass”.
What an 🐴!!! We had a neighbor move in that thought it was his business what everyone did on there own property . Nice of “Neighbor Ken” to come over and tell you about all her problems. I’m sure he’s one of them. Admiring your hard work, determination and kindness from Wisconsin.

It's funny because my neighbor knows everything that going on in the neighborhood but he also regularly goes around and mows everyone's yards because he gets bored and needs something to do.

It's because it lowers all the. Properties in the neighborhood. If there are a whole bunch of yards like that in devalue the other houses as well. That's why people reported them. That's also why there are HOA places it keeps people in check on the yard to keep the neighborhood value up. I'm not a person who calls on people but i do own my house. And we chose an hoa so that we would always always live in a neighborhood that is always kept up.

Having the neighbor know so much about the situations in the neighborhood was creepy! Why did he need to know her financial situation and why didn’t he offer to help her or pay to have her lawn taken care of? Thanks so much for all that you do to help those struggling due to situations beyond their control.
Because it is her responsibility. This is why cities have codes and code inspectors. It is obvious keeping her lawn and backyard in decent shape is not a priority. Glad he helped her out, hope she can keep it maintai ed now.
Not a fan of anyone lording it over others because it makes my blood pressure raise. Also, why did he even feel the need to come question you in any case. “Male Karen” is the correct name for him. Bless you for taking that load off a stranger’s shoulders.
You did a fantastic job. It’s a shame that man didn’t offer to help his neighbors instead of calling the inspector on them. He obviously knew she was struggling. We need to look after our neighbours. Thank you for being so kind. You are very much appreciated. Love watching your videos.😊
Excellent job! I love that you put the soil in a low spot instead of landfill. I don’t know about that neighbor, either he is self appointed or appointed by the city, but in any case you let him know you were not there to gossip you were there to HELP! Good on you!!! I wish more people would help others instead of criticizing them. That would be more productive all the way around.
My sister who lives across the street called the fire department on me because I can't take care of my yard anymore and my brother has problems because of breathing issues. But instead of offering to help us she turned us in.
Your a big influence to so many people not just the one who get the yard work done but the people live and drive by when your there. I just adore you ❤️ a lot!
At that length, that lawn would have taken a month of Sundays to mow. I'm happy we have you, Brian, a caring, kind soul. Love your work. Great job. Please tell Kevin to get a life ty
Male Karen’s are called “Ken” 😊. He needs to stop harassing and stalking the people in this neighborhood. Not only did you cut the grass and trim, you removed the garbage too! What you did is absolutely amazing and thank you so much for your kindness❤
I seem to remember when I began watching your channels several years ago that you were doing free yard work. Now it seems everyone is doing it. This yard is so much better. I’m sure the woman living there is very grateful.
They are going to feel so much better about life in general with that cleanup. It's amazing how depressed you can get when these seemingly little things get out of control. Love watching you spread joy and hope around!😊
Thanks so much Jackie 👋👋😊 and I agree! It’s amazing how fast something little can snowball into something overwhelming! And I know that happens to all of us!! Hope you’re having a good week
Sharon here... as always , great job! Helping this family makes a difference and I think the "Male Karen" should mind his own business or inquire how he can help out. It's apparent they had something keeping them from keeping up their property. Thanks Brian and helper. 👍❤☺
Part of being a good neighbor is keeping the lawn at a decent length, put trash in a receptacle for trash, not scattered all over where it can be blown onto other people's property, taking care of your property is your job. Glad Brian helped them out, let's hope they make an effort to keep it up. Most neighbors want their neighborhood to look nice. My neighborhood certainly does, thank goodness there is no HOA! Lawns like this attract rats and mice which on turn attracts snakes, can be unhealthy and dangerous.
At first when the neighbor was showing his "concern" I was thinking how great it would be that he could now call you, Brian, instead of the city. But after his diatribe I realized you might not want him having your number. 🤣 you really went above and beyond with the dirt relocation and cleaning up the patio…property turned out VERY nice!! Blessings to you for all you do for others! 👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
Brian, Brian's helper, Thank you for helping this lady out, I agree it would have taken her forever mow her tall grass with a push mower, now it will be easier for her to use a push mower. God bless her and her Family. God bless you Brian, Brian's helper. God bless your Family's
That poor woman was barely taller than the mower she was pushing! I'm sure it would have taken her weeks to get the grass mown. Thank you for helping her out. The yard looks fantastic. Im sure she appreciates it and you extended the life of her home by taking out all of those volunteer trees.
No kidding! You can't push mow grass that tall unless you have an amazing mower, which she didn't. There was NO WAY she was going to get that done. Poor dear! SO glad Brian was in the right place at the right time to be able to offer to help!
Glad he kept it brief with the neighbor on "everyone has problems,I'm doing what I love to do" straight to the point, nothing else the neighbor can say✌🏽
Beautiful job Brian! Glad you helped her out. I was thinking..... instead of being the mowing monitor for the neighborhood, maybe spend a little time organizing a "help our neighbor" mowing group. I don't know, seems like time better spent.
Hey Kerry 😊👋 yeah, I know not everyone can do the work that we do but you do always wonder that people don’t make an effort to help themselves! Hope you’re doing good man
Yes! Organize a block group to help your neighbors. We had a young couple with two little boys move into our block about 4 years ago. Sadly, one of their boys was diagnosed with cancer. Mom spent all the time at the local Children's Hospital with her little one, the grandparents took the other little boy in with them because the husband worked outrageous hours to earn extra money to try and pay for the medical bills that insurance didn't cover. Three neighbors - two of them on either side of the young family and me across the street, all chipped in to help keep their lawns mowed. It was the least we could do. Sadly, the little boy came home to die about a year ago. The young parents are still struggling emotionally and don't keep the yards up like many of their retiree neighbors keep their yards up. Get over it, people!
Im so happy that you did this for that lady . Im 64 years old and i do all of my own yard work . I have hedges that suround my property and they are over grown because it has been in the triple digits for days on end ...finally it has cooled down a bit so ive got to get out there and do it but once in awhile i wish someone would stop by and give me a boost ...🙏
My husband is 83 and still does our entire yard. All the trimming too. Yes it has been extremely hot but we are still waiting to cool off. He will soon have to hire someone to trim shrubs and such. It’s a hard job.
My husband is 79 and still does all of our yard work, as well. We live in FL and it is hot! He doesn't want to wake anyone who may be sleeping in, so I encourage him to do it later in the day.
Thank you again for helping people out that need the help. It’s a shame that the Karen’s of the neighborhood complain about stuff but don’t do nothing to help. We are all here to help each other. God bless you.
When I was growing up (just turned 60) doing yard work every Saturday was mandatory. kinda a competition at times 😅. We helped each other. Love thy neighbor. Pray for the Lazy! I ❤ your channel. Lawn service is expensive. Your service is greatly appreciated 👏👏 Fan from Seattle 🙏 🕊️
I love u r channel.i mostly like the fact that u do yards for people who live in their homes unlike others I watch who do vacant or abandoned yards.u truly help people.thank you for what u do.
I am blessed currently with a wonderful neighbor who rolls by and does my front as well as our neighbor next to him. It's all i can do to keep up with the back. Thank God for you and others like you with hearts of gold. We had a corner lot when i was a kid and they're no joke, lotta work. 😊
You did a perfect job, that was a very good idea to put the soil and grass under the tree, it cover the empty space. Thank you for helping the prople. Enjoy a blessed weekend. God bless🙏💕
Thank you Brian for cleaning up this lawn for this lady! It’s a heckuva deal getting old and not being able to do everything yourself! Her place is really tidied up and not a hazard for her anymore. You’re just the greatest guy!❤❤❤
"Sometimes it´s hard to find a good and reliable lawn care company". Well said, Brian and great to get the situation explained by a "neighborhood watchman". 😆 Honestly, if I as a former gardener see that neighbors are struggling with their yard, I will always offer my help. Sometimes they are far too proud to accept it, but that´s their personal decision. Anyways, awesome transformation of this yard and, as always, keep it up ! 👍 Greets from GER, U.
Thank you for helping out others. We all need a lift up at times and makes us feel better when we do for others. Glad to see you do the extras by sorting out her patio area. 😊👍
That place needed a restoration and that was what you worked on. Thank you. A nice view of improvement at 20:08. They had lost the use of the back patio. That was a good job getting it usable and navigable again, and you got a gate functional. Excellent progress.
I agree, stop complaining and take action! Reach out to your neighbors, maybe they're struggling with getting it caught up or they're overwhelmed. I mow my navy neighbors yard when I see it hasn't been done plus I knew his mower was having issues. I trim my other neighbors bushes when it obstructs my veiw of exiting my driveway. We all have more stresses in our lives now more than ever. Just pay it forward and it will make you feel good.😊❤
I definitely agree, if we can helping, a neighbor, always create a better neighborhood! And that is so awesome that you do that, if we all could help out when we can, the world would definitely be a better place!
I had a good laugh at 24.15 when you pushed the rack and tub of water over and it came back at you. Sometimes simple actions can have unexpected consequences 😅. Fantastic cleanup and all rubbish removed, beautiful work.
Brian and Steve excellent video and job. Glad you were able to help this older lady out with her yard, looks 100% better than before. David B.,Utah. 💖💖🇺🇲🇺🇲❤❤❤.
You are correct everyone has problems. If more people helped each other, life would be easier with more kindness. You choose the right neighborhood to help God bless you ❣️
I noticed that nosy man said "His Neighborhood" Well you Sir are a kind and good soul to do what you do to help people in need. Yard looked great. Bless you.
Hi Brian and friend! Am I the only one who lost track on how many lawns were done in this video? I am for sure about two but it looks more like three! WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Though I am lukewarm about that neighbor, I am glad he did not report the woman. Now the whole hood looks better. I am glad you took pitty on the lady with the push mower.
This is the lawn across the street from the one we did last week and we are finishing the backyard of that one this week!! Definitely helps to stay in the neighborhood! Lol thanks so much for the support. Hope you’re having a good week. ☺️😊👋
Wow, a corner lot with a whole lot of shoveling.... you made my back hurt! I would think the ramp on the front of the house might be a clue that someone living there could use a bit of help now and then.
If that guy spent half as much time helping his neighbors, as he does sticking his nose into their business, that neighborhood would be pristine. Stay safe, have a great day and may God bless…
@@TopNotchLawns I'm feeling better today. I went to dr for check up. Everything looks ok. Got to wait for lab work. It's storming here today. Lots of wind and heavy rain. Neighborhood bully is what he sounds like. He could jump in to help instead of talking down, turning them in, etc. I can't stand Nosey Nellie's!!! Thank you for helping out this family AND for setting an example for neighbors to help, not hurt by calling the city.
What happens when he falls off or damages the mower because he can't see where the drop is? Personally, seeing as he's the expert and does it for a living, I'd accept he knows what he's doing

I don’t know about that neighbor, either he is self appointed or appointed by the city, but in any case you let him know you were not there to gossip you were there to HELP! Good on you!!!
I wish more people would help others instead of criticizing them. That would be more productive all the way around.
Instead of calling the city he should help her out! Great job as usual!
Thanks as usual!! 👍👍😊👋
Neighbourhood watch means exactly that. Not neighbourhood help.
Definitely!! Very glad we were able to help her out! And thanks so much for the kindness 😊☺️ Couldn’t do it without you
Male Karen’s are called “Ken” 😊. He needs to stop harassing and stalking the people in this neighborhood.
Not only did you cut the grass and trim, you removed the garbage too! What you did is absolutely amazing and thank you so much for your kindness❤
Only if that is there pronouns 🤔😜
@@neiltrevatt 😂
I heard male Karen's are called Kevin's.
Kevin not Ken.
@@MyBeautifulHealth I suppose it depends on the part of the country you live? Who knows lol😊. Annoying people nonetheless 😊
Neighbourhood watchman = neighbourhood judgemental snoop. Thank you Brian for your kindness.
The sticky-beaks are always the most selfish, they virtue signal but never contribute anything positive.
Local Kevin... can't help gossiping about others, without lifting a finger to help.
I seem to remember when I began watching your channels several years ago that you were doing free yard work. Now it seems everyone is doing it. This yard is so much better. I’m sure the woman living there is very grateful.
You do an awesome job. We need more people to help our neighbors
Thank you so much Kelly ☺️👋 Hope you’re having a great week
Brian I liked the way that you handled Kevin.
WE ALL HAVE HAD a Kevin in our neighborhood. Bless his ❤
I used to live next door to one!
Lol 😆 Yes!
In Texas, "bless his lil heart" is a polite way saying kiss my hinny 😂.
I haven’t, thank gawd! I can’t imagine how horrible it would be.
Yep mine is my neighbor right behind me! And why I put up a six foot vinyl solid fence , would have put up a higher one but they aren’t allowed ..lol
And thank you for not judging people or letting others judge their neighbors! We don't know what challenges other people have ❤
♥♥
❤❤❤Yes I loved how you handled him in that situation. 😊
Lol, he titled this "male Karen"
That is judgement
They are going to feel so much better about life in general with that cleanup. It's amazing how depressed you can get when these seemingly little things get out of control. Love watching you spread joy and hope around!😊
Thanks so much Jackie 👋👋😊 and I agree! It’s amazing how fast something little can snowball into something overwhelming! And I know that happens to all of us!! Hope you’re having a good week
Yes, true!!! Please don't make it worse people!❤
Sharon here... as always , great job! Helping this family makes a difference and I think the "Male Karen" should mind his own business or inquire how he can help out. It's apparent they had something keeping them from keeping up their property. Thanks Brian and helper. 👍❤☺
People like that man act as though they have a vested interest in turning people into the city. Help not hurt. Great job Brian! 💪👏🏼👍☺️
Wow! Wonderful transformation. Thank you for picking up all the grass clippings and cleaning and edging the gutters.
I agree! Couldn’t believe when I saw her trying to do that push mower over there! So glad we could help out! Hope you’re having a great day
Great job
Hope you’re doing good man
@@TopNotchLawns I thought it was really cool when the city inspector thanked you!!
ROFLMBO 😂 "Not sure what to do...that works"! 😂 WOW, there was so much more to this than mowing. Excellent job Brian. You rock! ❤😊
Those corner lots just keep calling you Brian! Job well done💪👍
Lol 😂 Definitely like my corner lots!!
Fantastic job guys! Cleaning up that patio makes a world of difference. 👏👏👏
Brian - oh my gosh you did an amazing job!! 💚👋🏼🙂
And you’re a man of kindness because I wouldn’t have been so polite to that bike guy.
Lol 😆 hi Sonnie Definitely took a bit of patience on this one!! Hope you’re having a great week
When I was growing up (just turned 60) doing yard work every Saturday was mandatory. kinda a competition at times 😅. We helped each other.
Love thy neighbor. Pray for the Lazy!
I ❤ your channel. Lawn service is expensive. Your service is greatly appreciated 👏👏
Fan from Seattle 🙏 🕊️
I love u r channel.i mostly like the fact that u do yards for people who live in their homes unlike others I watch who do vacant or abandoned yards.u truly help people.thank you for what u do.
Thanks so much! So glad that you enjoyed it, could you do this work without your support! 😊☺️👋
I think so too. I like seeing lived in homes being helped.
Cleaning vacant lots helps the neighborhood too. Thank goodness there's someone to do that!

Your a very good man helping others. I wish we had that here in our town. Love 💕 watching your videos. Have a wonderful week.❤😊
Thank you so much for the kindness Mary we couldn’t do this work without your support ☺️😊👋👋
Beautiful job as always! 💚 So good that there are still people like you in the world.
Great job as usual. Thanks for your service! Hang in there we all need you and others like you!😊😊😅😅
Thank you, as usual, Becky! Hope you’re having a great week 😊☺️👋
Nicely done Brian!!! Thanx for all your kindness to this lady! 😊
You did a perfect job, that was a very good idea to put the soil and grass under the tree, it cover the empty space. Thank you for helping the prople. Enjoy a blessed weekend. God bless🙏💕
Thanks as always! And yes, it helps us out too! Lol Hope you’re having a great week. Blessings to you. ☺️😊👋
Thank you for caring, amazing job , it would have been a tremendous amount of work without or even with good equipment bravo😊
Thanks for getting the small bushes and trees cut down and cleaning off the patio. I am sure the resident was relieved to have a clean lawn and lot.
Brian ,you outdid yourself! You made her house shine! Thank you.
Thank you for helping out others. We all need a lift up at times and makes us feel better when we do for others. Glad to see you do the extras by sorting out her patio area. 😊👍
Great job! You always seem to find the folks that need some help! Fantastic!
Thanks man 😊👍👍👋
You made that lawn look great Brian. Well done.
That place needed a restoration and that was what you worked on. Thank you. A nice view of improvement at 20:08. They had lost the use of the back patio. That was a good job getting it usable and navigable again, and you got a gate functional. Excellent progress.
Beautiful job that will lighten the homeowners load no doubt! Love your kindness Brian💚
Your a very compassionate and caring person Thank You Brian🫶

You are correct everyone has problems. If more people helped each other, life would be easier with more kindness. You choose the right neighborhood to help
God bless you ❣️
You have a beast of mower! Another great transformation by You!!
It’s definitely awesome having good equipment! Hope you’re having a great week Pam 👋☺️😊
You precious man, you cleared a path to that back door and safety exit. Many thanks ❤
I wish someone had helped me out when I couldn't. You're such a good guy with a compassionate heart.❤
People are sooooo rude😢
God bless you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, a corner lot with a whole lot of shoveling.... you made my back hurt! I would think the ramp on the front of the house might be a clue that someone living there could use a bit of help now and then.
Lol 😆 Me too!! I do you seem to like my corner lots hope you’re having a great week Judith 👋😊
So kind of you. It’s a shame his watch didn’t include helping when you see a neighbor in need. Thank you for a great job.
That's the kind of neighbor who has his easy chair next to his front window. Right next to his binoculars!
If that guy spent half as much time helping his neighbors, as he does sticking his nose into their business, that neighborhood would be pristine. Stay safe, have a great day and may God bless…
Hmm, I guess you know everything about a neighborhood you've never been too, huh?
Thank you Mr. Top Notch for helping that lady. That was a massive job. May you get rewarded 10 fold.
You are a blessing!!!!❤
Thanks man. You doing any better? How’s your weather down there?
@@TopNotchLawns I'm feeling better today. I went to dr for check up. Everything looks ok. Got to wait for lab work. It's storming here today. Lots of wind and heavy rain. We needed the rain just don't need flooding. Looks like rain again tomorrow. Temperature is perfect. Got to watch for tornadoes from the hurricane. I'm on right side of storm so it comes in bans.
What a big difference! Not only in the yard but in the owners hearts. Great job!
What a great neighbor. You know people are probably already struggling, but you make their lives that much easier by reporting them to the city. What a great guy!
A nice guy would see if he could help when he saw it getting alittle to long, a caring guy would see if he could help, it doesn't appear there are any around that neighborhood. Thank goodness for nice caring guys like you. Beautiful job.😊👍
Bless you for being a kind person and helping others. Looks better.
Neighborhood bully is what he sounds like. He could jump in to help instead of talking down, turning them in, etc. I can't stand Nosey Nellie's!!! Thank you for helping out this family AND for setting an example for neighbors to help, not hurt by calling the city.
Excellent job Brian. ❤❤😮

What happens when he falls off or damages the mower because he can't see where the drop is? Personally, seeing as he's the expert and does it for a living, I'd accept he knows what he's doing

Neighbors today aren't nice at all. Why would you try to cause trouble for people who obviously are having issues maintaining their property? The nosey neighbor is harassing. Maybe the person has undergone health or family issues.
And trying to mow that yard with a push mower would’ve been really tough!! And yes, all of us have trouble keeping up with life sometimes! Lol
