This week we were notified by a lady who mentioned her yard hasn’t been mowed in years. She hired 9 different people to mow, but, no one would finish it. You won’t what we found buried underneath this Overgrown grass. She was STUNNED, she didn’t remember half of the stuff that was under the grass. The Single Mom was really frustrated as she bought a brand new pool 2 years ago but her kids haven’t seen the backyard in 2 years. While cleaning this yard, I was attacked by a massive nest of bee’s, damaged my equipment which could have cost us $17,000.

How is Bill doing? I also think it would be a great idea to link some charities for the homeless and in need, or even some organizations that provide handy jobs and life planning to get those in need back on track. Great to see someone show empathy towards the homeless and offer a helping hand, i use to be homeless and i believe having positive relationships in your life helps you bounce back from those situations.

I agree. That yard didn't magically develop into a dump over night, it takes time do to do that. Are all of her kids still like 2 years old and can't handle a lopper or a weed whacker?
Priorities mean nothing to some. Plenty of time to do the fun things in life though.
Did we see the same video? The TV did not belong. Everything else I saw had a purpose and a reason for being there, except for the overgrowth.

I think neighbors don't help each other because we live in a world that is getting more evil every day. Thankfully, my neighbor, Katie, keeps an eye out on me as I was injured a year ago and cannot do my own lawncare. She was hiring someone and gave me his number and Anthony was kind enough to also do my lawn.
Everyone But ONE Person will Help Each other on our road.. And that One person is a P.O.S and would find a way to Sue anyone who would be willing to help.. Also, like others have said.. Didn't get that way over night..

I agree with you. We live in a weird time today. I can remember growing up and we could go to the store out relatives and we didn’t lock the doors. It’s sad.
I've done my elderly neighbors lawn for 3 years (I'm elderly, too, but not as old), and her daughter sent me a whole arrangement of carnations. Once. In three years. (The whole family is federally employed. I'm disabled. You do the privileged math.)

I hate to think of what the inside looks like! My mother used to always say you can be sure if someone has a messy yard you can be sure it's worse inside.
If you get stunk by bees use oil even if it's motor oil it will stop the pain immediately.

Erik, you might want to ask your family doctor for an epi pen just in case you or one of your coworkers are allergic to bee, wasp and etc.. bites. Could save one of your lives. Love y'all. Keep safe out there.
And you can get allergic at any time. Also carry Dawn dish soap to wash off poison ivy oils, hopefully preventing serious reactions. (Never burn poison ivy vines; the oils can get into your lungs. Not good at all!)

It's sad the way people are today. Ppl do this for a living, Erik gets paid thru TH-cam, plus he's got the equipment to do a yard like this most landscapers don't have heavy equipment for extreme yards like this.

I can't answer your question about why someone living next store wouldn't be able to ask a neighbor if they need help with their yard. Maybe I live in Fairysville, WI or something. I live in a subdivision in far southwest Milwaukee, WI and we help our neighbors! I have a young couple that moved into the home (first time homeowners) 3 years ago. They have 2 little ones and both work full time jobs. They are still learning how to take care of their home. He is a police officer and often works double shifts because we are short-handed with police in Milwaukee. He does his best, and Mom has the kids (3 and 6) to take care of - hard to do yard work when you have to keep your eyes on them constantly. I'm retired so I spend a lot of time in my gardens, as do many of my neighbors. We help each other shovel out/snow blow in winter, and cleaning up after storms, etc. I am now watering the plants my young neighbors planted, especially in the scorching summer we've had this year. They don't realize yet that watering once a week isn't going to do it for outside plants! They're still learning. I have the time, I don't mind helping. I also cut and keep one side of their lawn that edges their driveway, there is no fence that separate our lots so I cut right up to the driveway concrete. I also pull some of their weeds. I don't know if they've noticed, but I sure do when I look out my windows! And I've given both of them lessons on how to trim back the beautiful magnolia tree they have growing in their front yard.

Good neighbors do exist. Was at work when I got a notification from my home surveillance. Caught my neighbor mowing my front. Talking to him later, he said he noticed everyone seemed too busy, so after doing his lawn, he might as well help with other nearby lawns.
If everyone took care of their yard then we wouldn't get to watch Erik and his family and friends create these amazing videos. ❤
