Love the room! sock tip - when you take off the socks, fold them together again when you put them in the washing basket and undo when you're putting them in the washing machine. My mum told me to do that a few years ago and the number of lost socks has reduced significantly :)

Looking FAB, I did the same colour a few years ago, that subdued yellow has such a nice calming effect in winter, especially if you suffer from seasonal disorder or depression, it makes everything light, summer effect. That's why whenever I'm decorating I always go for colours that make your room appear bigger, but colours that aren't too loud and you can cope seeing every day. Pastels, and warm hues, are amazing.
