I would say for irons,5 and shorter,it makes sense. For driver and fairway woods,I like the longer swing.I love the step drill, especially with driver,to get my swing in sync.thanks for your videos.
I’m a prime example of this. I can carry driver 275 on a half swing and teed up low. If I try get anything out of it by either teeing it higher or a fuller swing it could go anywhere from 180 to 290. It’s not worth the hassle to me. Some of us can’t sequence a full swing. Hell yesterday I hit a pw from 128 to carry the front half swing carried the entire green id say about 165 I mean it was a flyer lie but it’s ridiculous power has never been my issue I’m 5’10 235. Its accuracy and I’m beginning to figure out if I swing what feels to be half to 3/4 it’s far more accurate
Video idea - Could you look at body types? I'm an ex gym goer with reasonable sized pecs, lats and arms. I play golf everyday and I still struggle. I just can't keep the club on a neutral path without reverse pivoting.
@@matthewshepherd826 I did all the research back in 2020 and skytrak was rather slow and mostly because I'm a leftie with rightie friends so a pain. R10 is a bit of a toy (my buddy has one). Flightscope has really impressed me with their software and feature support. Others seem to be languish with basic updates.. depends on your budget.. I got Pro Package which was worth it.
Do you feel like you're more trail side oriented because you've got less control over your lead side? Does it feel like you're pushing off outside of trail leg in transition? Thanks.
The more I watch your channel, the more I like it and your way of explaining things. Keep it up!
Really appreciate & admire how open you are about sharing your disability 👏
The step drill has always been a great drill to improve your swing, sequence and timing. I do it regularly and often. Cheers
Very good content and looking forward to trying this at the range at the weekend.

Would this help with arm run off? Could you make a video specifically on this issue?

Does this work just as well with driver?
Which launch monitor do you use? Thanks!
Looks like the Mevo+ app anywyas but I guess it could be X3 too.. I love my Mevo+... Best investment I've ever made.
@Stephane Gauthier yeah I've been looking at the Mevo+, Skytrak and even the Garmin R10... wish there was somewhere to try them all tbh

@Stephane Gauthier thanks for the info mate! Somewhere between £1k and £2k- so Trackman and GC4 are out 😂
I'm trying to shorten my backswing but also have issues with balance in my left side, what drill could I do to help shorten my swing?
