I remember hearing this for the first time and being awe struck by how dark George went with LIWL. This is probably one of his greatest works it is just upsetting to know how dark things must have been inside George’s head. To consign one’s self to such a degree of hopelessness cannot be mentally good. It’s not that he is wrong about any of it, it is that it dwelled within him and at the end of his days he still felt like there was no turning humanity around. For a mind as articulate and functional as his, it really paints us in an awful circumstance.

Starting at 3:20, what George Carlin said is literally what the Joker said in the interrogation scene of The Dark Knight, even if the character said it many years after Mr. Carlin. '' When the chips are down, these...these civilised people...they will eat each other. ''
Remember that. Both Mr. Carlin and the Joker are anarchists. They create trouble, because it's fun, but more than anything, they show to people who they really are, they tend to society a mirror in which the fundamental lie of life appears and that lie is that life is a bad joke and we create these so called values to maintain an appearance of decency while deep down we never ceased to be beasts '' barely out of the jungle ''. Here is the full circle.
Like Harvey Dent/Two-Face said at the end, '' There is no escape from this ''.
Think it through, ladies and gentlemen.

Best part is that it was government created. Pentagon and NSA have been running simulations for decades, not in our interest, but theirs. Then we ask, what is the NSA’s interest? Wanna take a fucking guess? It’s about control and turning us against each other for votes. Same as the anthrax attacks. Pretty funny that the 2 senators who got anthrax were the ones blocking the patriot bill. Even funnier we blamed it on terrorist and used it as a justification of war. The US needs to grow the fuck up, stop throwing away our “rights” and go refresh the tree of liberty so we can fuck up the country all over again.

As far as I’m concerned there is not a “post covid world”….just a post compliant world… to me covid wasn’t a thing…covid was a litmus test for the population…a test to see jf people will just believe everything put in front of them and then blindly believe a solution or “antidote” or whatever you wanna call it… and 30% of the population took 4 “antidotes”….but yet right now right before another election there is rsv pneumonia flu vaccines covid vaccines….I’m sure you get the picture

You miss Carlin's philosophy completely. The reason his material is still relevant today is because he took on the powerful. Crybaby comedians today whine because their lazy, unfunny, punching-down at the powerless doesn't fly with modern audiences who don't live to lick the feet of the mighty and rich. All indications are that you're the type Carlin was warning about. The kind of bootlicker he had ZERO respect for.
