"Tinting" the reserve chamber does not break the lines when the pen is viewed horizontally. A brilliant idea. Thank you for the review. Ink filling is somewhat difficult due to the stiffness of the internals. Pen is new.
A very elegant and beautiful pen from Visconti. Reminds me of the discontinued, Dark Age Lava. It really look impressive. Thank you Emy for the detailed review. I would not consider this an EDC for myself.

Let's be clear: a beautiful pen, and it's great they listened to your idea of combination of the materials, but I like a pen with some weight in it. So I guess this would not be my best choice to make. Never the less, this was a very fine review, complete with a comparing and writing sample. I give most attention to your personal words at the end, they are precious to me. Thank you Emy for taking the time to give us your personal intentions about this new fountainpen. Is there a window through which I can check the remaining ink level in the main tank?
yup - the one that is in the middle of the pen - just point the nib up and all the ink drains so you can check the level as well
Very nice pen.. I have a question sir, i just bought a plain dark age. Is it a new design that the nib doesn't have "firenze" engraved on it anymore?
Yes, correct - It is featuring the new 18k Gold nib in house made by Visconti which doesnt have the FIRENZE stamping on it
