OMG Emy! This is such a beautiful pen! I'm going to get one of these for sure. Superb review and I hope Visconti releases more Opera Masters!
You and me both! They just launched the Opera Master Savanna and i cant wait to get it and showcase it on the channel :D
Hi! Love your reviews and your handwriting!
Hey Samee - thank you ! My handwriting is even more impressive but in order to record it - it takes my posture to a point that is altering my usual position 👌🏻 maybe I’ll try to record in a way that allows me more movement - next. Thank you for your support
A beautiful pen! Quite a Grail pen! Thank you for presenting this beauty!
Thank you Alexandra - now it is even more nice with the more comfortable writing experience!
Emy, I love this pen!!! I truly enjoy this video and how you’ve captured the stunning colors of this pen. I do see the growth and changes in your channel when I first subscribed and I must say, with each and every video content you produce, gets better and better each and every time!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you Marianne - I’m so happy to see that my content is well received and it fulfills it’s purpose - to showcase these beautiful pieces and share the experience with you all
Excellent video Emy. Thanks for sharing about the new Visconti Opera Master. The in house EF nib looks very neat and soft. I am sure you've had a wonderful writing experience.
I like the fine and ef the most on these new ones 🙌🏻 NexT review on visconti will probably be the Blue Lagoon - ok that I’ll go with a B I think 🙌🏻 thank you K
@@pen.venture look forward to the review of the Blue Lagoon.
I'm coming to you from one of those warm islands in the middle of an ocean. Come visit when such things become possible again! Love the review; thanks!
Hey Scot - one can only dream of such a holiday in these times. To be honest i think for so much time i took for granted traveling and being social, now i feel the need to travel but i cant ... Still need to wait to see things getting on the normal slope. Till then ... ill be committed to deliver the best video content of youtube!
@@pen.venture I agree on all counts! :)
Beautiful! I was looking at making the Visconti Homosapiens Crystal my first Visconti, but then I came across this video and the Polynesia may be it....am I crazy?
That homo sapiens Crystal is one rare pen - still hunting for one for the past 3 years :D you are not crazy at all - it is a really impressive pen
I really want to get one of these! How does it feel to write with the metal section? I love my Visconti HS and can write with it all day…I haven't enjoyed the couple of metal pens I have owned but they were much thinner.
Hey there Fraser, metal sections are nit that scary to begin with, the old opera masters had very thick walls for the section made of metal and they where a bit off in regards of balance but starting with polynesia they redesigned the shape and the weight .. now is not that different from the normal sections. :D
@@pen.venture Thanks for your reply, that's rreally great to know, do you find it slippy or needs a tight grip at all?
usually what many call a slippy section is actually given by the converging angle of the section or "the drop" and not the texture of the surface. On polynesia being a longer section the drop is more soft and shallow so there isnt any slipping while holding or using the pen
Thanks for the wonderful review Emil
Two questions:
1) How is the in house 18K gold nib as compared to the 23K palladium nib? Is the gold nib as soft and springy as the palladium nib?
2) Is the metal section slippery for long writing sessions?
Thanks for all the wonderful work you are doing!
Thank you for the support and love for the content!
1. first of all - palladium nibs are soft to the "too soft", they feel nice but they are mushy and very easy to spring them - also the spring back its not there. While the 18k gold nib its a bit more rigid and it has a more quick spring back. to answer your question - No, it is not as soft as the palladium but way more springy
2. Not at all - that rest feature of the section near the end will make sure your fingers wont go below it - comfortable, and smaller in diameter than the old style Opera Master - i would say its 100% a winner
@@pen.venture Thank you for the reply!
My pleasure 🤝
What kind of Leonardo Blue is your ink?
Mediterranean or Tourquoise?
There are two types of Leonardo Blue…
Hey hey - its the regular Blue ink which is Mediterranean
I am between this and the Savanah, my only concern is by filling the pen if the colours of the body of the pen are still visible or are concealed?
Hey there Christos, the colors are still visible while inked but it shows like a dark color from outside regardless of the ink color you use in the pen
@@pen.venture thanks
