    Personally I think the people who constantly harp on creators to make an onlyfans are like half a step down from sexual harassment. It's the sort of thing that gets normalized online but imagine doing that to anyone in real life. Like imagine going up to a coworker or friend and saying "hey have you considered posting nudes online for me to gawk at?"

    • @SAOS451316
      @SAOS451316 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +66

      No, it is entirely sexual harassment. It's no better than "show me your X" comments. Because he's a man however it's not seen as such by broader society and people feel more comfortable doing it. Yes, he is an attractive young man with impressive skills, but it's very rude when people pester him about it.

      @@SAOS451316 Frankly I think even though more people would look on that behavior in disgust when done to a woman than they would when it's done to a man, there are still plenty of people who feel pretty comfortable doing it to women, too. There are just too many people who don't see others as human. But I agree it's definitely sexual harassment.

    • @Vertelemming

      It can be done as a joke as long as you make it _very clear_ that you are not being serious, but it's rather rare for people to _actually_ mean it as a joke, which definitely crosses into sexual harassment territory. I don't think it's sexual harassment per se and the fact that he's often half naked or more in the videos, in addition to catering to a certain audience, leads to that question or similar rather naturally.
      It doesn't mean though it's ok to ask, and especially insisting: not only it's not funny, but if many people have commented that and he's not answering/not comfortable, get the hint instead of writing it again for the 1000th time. And it's very easy to slip from a jokey tone to a creepy one.
      I appreciated that he answered to that in a meaningful way.

      ...I'm not entirely sure what crossover potential you think exists. Arrows move *much* slower than firearms so there's not much value in filming slow motion archery. Especially at the tens of thousands of frames per second the Slow Mo Guys film things at.
      The archer's paradox where the arrow bends around the bow has already been filmed by plenty of other people. They already filmed Dan slicing an arrow mid air.

    The key to the Faux Bow is that it shoots specially designed lightweight hollow plastic arrows with plastic fins and huge soft heads that don't hurt people if they "accidentally" get hit at range (it absolutely would hurt at very close range, but wouldn't kill, and is very unlikely to send you to the hospital). The arrows are very rugged, survive getting beat up and stepped on, and you don't have to worry as much about what is behind your target if you let loose a wild shot.

    It's great to have someone ask for questions and then answer them so honestly and authentic without giving up their privacy completely. And I know, there are people that expect you to answer every single question, but everyone who uses only a little bizt of logic thinking, it should be clear, that that would be impossible, even if you would only post q+a videos.

    I had a very similar experience with pole dancing, although it did not involve a fey spirit to the best of my knowledge; thank You for sharing Your story
    also I have a pretty large collection of Regenyei swords now, and would like to get back into archery (I have a 26 lbs Scythian style childrens bow that I got ~20 years ago, probably should get a new one)
    but don't worry, I have no intention of getting into the content creator business, Your niche is safe :)

    Honestly, mad respect for the very graceful way you answered the onlyfans thing. You really were polite and didn't try making people feel bad for thinking you're attractive enough to want that sort of content, while still respectfully setting a boundary for yourself and even giving your reasoning. I just hope people can respect your decision, in return and not press the matter further, especially if such comments make you uncomfortable. You certainly have a lot more to offer than just sexy content, anyway. Not that anything is wrong with choosing to put that out. Whatever works for an individual. But you have such a creative and educational variety on this channel, alone. I'd prefer that, personally. It's also just more accessible to more people.

    So maybe David has mentioned it before and I just missed it. That would explain the fact I'm not seeing other comments talking about this. But he's 32? I'd thought mid to late 20s at most. I guess that is what such an active and physical job can do for you.
