Hi there, the powder coating cost $550 and I the triple clamps and stand done including sand blasted, I sent the forks to Rad Hard Chroming in Queensland, great to deal with and a fantastic job done. Cheers

I was about the send my SR500 fork tubes to the hard chrome place near Brisbane I imagine that's the place you're talking about they quoted $420 plus postage
I've been quoted $700 to blast and powder coat the frame here in Grafton, I think that's over the top so I carry on with plan A and finish sanding it and spray it with epoxy enamel I've done most of the sanding already I'll probably finish it today and paint it over the next few days
I did spray it about four years ago and it didn't really need to be redone but I had reason to remove the forks and drop the swingarm out so I thought I may as well repaint it while I was at it

@@hodaka1000 yes that must be the place Rad Hard Chroming I’ve heard horror stories about other companies not doing the job properly and these are the only people to send them to, same price as I paid to $420, painting the frame is fine save your money and spend it elsewhere on the bike good luck with your project sounds awesome.
