@@mantas96x Hey mate your local motorcycle shop should be able to source parts for you, aftermarket engine parts from Pro-x pretty much get everything or have a look on eBay, you can still get pretty much everything for those bikes.👍
Thanks Phil, I converted a dry sandblasting unit into a water one with a sump pump in a bucket with water and media solution and made a hand piece up from plans off the web, can’t afford to buy a real one but this works just fine for under $500 bucks.👍
Hi David You are correct but this engine has some strange things going on? The frame is a 92 it came out of, the top end is 92 with the KIPS as 91 didn’t have but the bottom end is 91? Did Kawasaki have surplus stock of 91 bottom ends back in the day and this was there way of getting rid of them? Or has someone just put a 92 top end on a 91? I’ve seen KTM do this to get rid of old stock but anything could have happened with this engine through its life. Good pick up though 👍
I filmed removing them as the screws were rounded off! I then removed the bearings so I could vapour blast the cases, then refitted new bearings and with new screws in the retainers. If I filmed everything the video would go for to long and there just boring bits that nobody really wants to see.
I just finished getting my 71 Kawasaki G3SS up and running again. It’s funny how much sealant people will use. Less is best in this case!
Great stuff. Thanks
Thanks Jerry.
Looks super
Hi guys , where you buy parts for that old motorbike? I have kawasaki kx250 1992

Top job! What type of wet blaster do you use?

Didn't show splitting the case ,or installing crank and the Tools required !!
Not 92, it’s 91. 92 has the water pump like 93

This should say FAILED ATTEMPEMT how can you forgot the bearing container bolts 😂
No Failed Attempts there I can assure you, no missing retainer bolts after I was finished with it but thanks for the comment 😆
You clearly put it together without them in
