Born Free Show Bike: Paint and Chrome Coming Together

First off, we want to thank Mike Davis and Grant Peterson for inviting us to build a bike for Born Free. This opportunity pushed our skills, creativity and the overall quality of our motorcycle building to a new level and we are extremely honored to have had our 1957 Triumph Pre Unit show bike at Born Free 14 along with some many talented builders. It is something we will always remember and be grateful for.
In our previous video you witness some of the little things that go into building a show bike. That is certainly the fun stuff!
This video gives an insight to how much care and attention goes into the final assembly of a show bike. It is a very meticulous process, you don't want to chip the paint or chrome and you have to work very slow and steady to avoid any mistakes. It is a high stress situation and I am sure the more you do it the better you get, but this was our first build to this high caliber and we only had about 8 months from start to finish so when this video was filmed we only had a few weeks until the show date. We finished with a few days to spare before driving to California with the bike.
Who we are:
Red Clouds Collective was started in 2012 by Seth and Casey Neefus "The Neefus Brothers". We run the brand, design and make the majority of the products in our Portland shop with our own hands. Everything else is made in the USA by very talented makers. We also build custom motorcycles after hours for fun. Using our hands and creativity is what we enjoy most in life. Working together as brothers is truly special and we hope you like the variety of things we create.
