@@hannahslife201 from my understanding it's any part of the body that has access to the internal organs etc. The reason they should never be touched is because it has direct access to vital body parts that could be easily infected. Especially if the patient has low immunity. Ports can be medical devices that provide fluid through tubing or that remove fluid as well. There are some yt channels that show what it's like living with a port, how to change them, why it's important etc.
Pressure on a port! No no no no! Pain, infection, displacement! So many issues here. Honestly they do this once you seem uncomfortable just as a power struggle.
@ adorably smug little bastard when going through chemo, it is given intravenously(through a vain) and imagine being struck in the arm multiple times a day in the arm and some of these drugs are curiosive to the vains so instead they put a tube in the artery usually near the collarbone on the left side of chest which goes into the artery and has a catheter under the skin that can be accessed with a needle. No fussing with trying to get a vain, less distance for the drug to the heart so it can be pumped around the body. It is a tube to a very critical and vulnerable part of the body during the treatment and infection there can cause badly wide shut down and has to be cleaned and monitored rigorously. They are also essentially foreign objects stuck in the body that have small layer of skin over them. You have to be very gentle with them. Avoid wearing clothes that are overly tight on it, don’t sleep on it, or it can be dislodged or cause damage.
It's pretty simple. If you apologize you are admiting guilt and liability. It can be used in a civil court case and not be defended. It costs a lot of money to apologize.
I was 8 months pregnant and even when I was scanned and let go one said “no she has to take her boots off” even though was no alarm I then was surrounded with six of them telling me to remove my knee high zip boots “now” They made me sit on the floor to remove them and refused to get me a chair even though it was obvious I was pregnant. The lack of professionalism and empathy was astounding
No. I was hospitalised a day after and it was decided I had to deliver my son, so having a c section and early first bub it wasn’t on my priority list and even though this was at Sydney Australia domestic airport it was still only 2 years after 911.
You cant put TSA and empathy in the same sentence. Every person that travels has the potential to have a specialized circumstance or disability. Officers should have the social intelligence and training to understand this, and screen accordingly with professionalism. Although some screening methods dont seem appropriate to the situation, officers dont make the rules. Still, not everyone has the personality to delegate authority in a respectful manner and shouldnt be working with the traveling public.
@dev gana I worked for them and quit because I didn't like the way they treated me or the public. Theres some decent people, but overall not my style. Some of them need an old-fashioned ass kicking.
I’m a student child nurse and literally I wasn’t even allowed to touch a port even with gloves on ! It’s so easy to get infections just like any other medical device to treat cancers like a Hickman line and Picc line . So she’s not being dramatic she’s just being cautious.
Lol ports can actually be touched when needed with sanitary gloves. The gloves should have been changed so she could be properly checked to protect our airlines.
@@atrunicorn they can change gloves all they want, they're not sterilized gloves to begin with so why bother? They're not protecting anyone it's all a show.

I didn't watch this video to its entirety but its always a choice. They can leave or proceed with the checks to make sure you're not a danger. These checks are like police cruising around a neighborhood, They prevent criminals from even attempting crime.
@@zodax123 it's a little more complicated than that. Having cancer makes you more susceptible to infections. She has a port in that area which can easily lead to her getting a systemic infection if it gets contaminated. Pressure in that area may also result in some damage or malfunction...the lady had a prescription and already took off her wig and went through the x ray machine, all that was not necessary. They also allegedly refused to return her shoes while she waited, that seemed a bit malicious.
@@F.R.A.N.K.I.E You're probably right but I can't help thinking there's no way around this. Her condition doesn't immediately make her innocent and although its an extremely low chance if she were a terrorist it'd be the perfect opportunity. Just takes one mistake for a tragedy to happen.
@@zodax123 that's also true. Maybe it's a good thing that this came up so that measures can now be put in place. Perhaps the policy makers never thought of such and this provides an opportunity to initiate policies and procedures.
I understand checks at airports. You have to be carful these days. But when someone can prove their illness and their medical. You do not degrade them. When she said “you can’t touch me there” it hit me with my own trauma. These people were out of line for how they treated her . They should have a line for people who have medical needs or issues . That way they are not rushing or being an ass to people.

This is so messed up. My fiance had cancer and also had a port in his chest. Any slight bump really upset him because it doesn't necessarily hurt but it felt extremely weird and he hated it. I couldn't IMAGINE having them tell her they need to apply pressure on her port area. NO!!!!! She already went through the detector and her port was cleared as not being a weapon so like... 🤔🤷♀️ whats the problem? Not to mention ports need to stay sterile at all times, having a stranger poke and prod it is not ok. My fiances port was sealed with a silicone-like goo to ensure that nothing got inside of it.
I know how you feel. My dad have staged 4 cancer and also have a port in his chest upper left side. I would be shocked and angry at them too. They have no right to do that to anyone who has been through cancer.

Medical certifications need to be required so they can have that medical knowledge to deal with this and other situations TSA only hires anyone that can pass a background check unfortunately that could be anyone.
That's a dumb ass comment! They did nothing wrong! Just because you have a medical issue doesn't exclude you from being searched. People are always trying to find some bullshit to whine about. Next time your ass gets on a plane you better be glad someone is trying to make it safe for you.

absolutely unbelievable. I'm disabled in a wheelchair (can't stand) and they have NEVER treated me this way. I'd be just as pissed and mortified if they'd opened up and gone through every single item in my personal care bag (private items related to disability). I'm sure it's not an isolated incident but i'm glad to hear this was resolved.
I had a port in my arm for an extended period of time for a treatment I was getting via IV. The NURSES are not even allowed to touch it without sterilizing, and then only the specially permitted ones can even come into contact. A TSA agent coming into contact with a port in a PUBLIC AIRPORT is close to signing a warrant for an intense infection. And when people are in/coming out of chemo, their immune systems are often temporarily or even permanently compromised. So infuriating to watch
MarkeeGamerMove a port is essentially a one-way tube coming out of your skin that goes directly to your bloodstream. It’s for nurses to attach an IV back to your arm (or wherever) without constantly having to find a vein and pricking you repeatedly every time you need to get one. It’s more than being visible from the skin. It bypasses the skin.
My mom had breast cancer aswell as a port for treatment, you can't even give them tight hugs while they're recieving treatment because they'll get bruises. This is a real issue, and I'm happy to see that people are covering it.
Aeko it's a type of tool medical professionals put inside (it is usually placed in the upper chest area, like under the clavicle, once inside there a tube that connects to a major vein) in order to administer cancer treatments.
There’s there’s a difference between overreacting and just plain out embarrassing humiliated and I would do the same thing she did if I was in that situation
I have a port, and I always get patted down at the airport. They never touch my port after I’ve told them it’s there, they just look. So these TSA agents don’t have any excuse.
I'm type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump that I tend to keep in the side of my bra, time's I have taken it off and put it through the scanners but this time was really cold and I had layers of jackets on and couldn't be bothered, I did state beforehand I was wearing it and told me to take shoes off etc, after beeping again they proceeded to rip my jackets off and grope my bra to find it when I suggested I would take it off, it's so embarrassing oh my god, I did make a complaint.
"In medicine, a port is a small medical appliance that is installed beneath the skin. A catheter connects the port to a vein. ... The port is usually inserted in the upper chest (known as a "chest port"), just below the clavicle or collar bone, leaving the patient's hands free."
JustLaurie The inconsistency in their training is just inexcusable, isn’t it? I fly a lot, and I have a metal plate and screws in my leg from my childhood injury that sometimes set the metal detector off. Nine out of 10 times, I just verbally explain and no further action is taken besides maybe the handheld sensor waved near the plate/screws. In fact, often, they are even nice about it. But that one remaining instance can be highly stressful. I’ve been taken to the 2ndary screening area in the past where I’m asked to expose my leg and, on a recent occasion, the TSA officer kept on poking at the spot where the plate and screws are, ignoring my question as to whether that was within the TSA protocol. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary...although, again, they are okay-or even nice-most of the time.
now that this information about being exempt from patting when wearing a port is already out there i hope terrorists don't use this as an excuse in the future.
Ports are a very serious thing! I have one for my cancer (osteosarcoma). They hurt when pressure is put on it (at least for me it does) and it also need to be kept clean from any type of germs. Can cause a lot more medical issues. I had a point where I got an infection and was almost put in the ICU because of it..... I feel so bad for her. Smh 😭
It was her RIGHT to have Privacy!!!!!!!!! This is a Medical Condition which should have been treated with sensitivity and Empathy. There should be Exceptions for Private Areas for people like this.....I do not have these conditions and I would have been outraged too!!!!! I hope she sues and wins!!!!!

I recently found out what I will have to do IF I FLY and go through security at an airport or airport, security for a court house, or a local social security office. I've had pace makers for decades due to a birth defect. The pace maker I have now emits blue-tooth signals to my doctor's office through my cell phone. Welcome to the third millennium! It provides more convenience for reading a pacemaker's info. I've been in great shape for a long time. I was so astonished when I found out my pace-maker could emit blue-tooth. for people saying here ‘ it’s needed ‘ just so you have an idea: in japan they never touch you directly but with metal detectors or gloved hands and only with express consent beforehand. So, there’s no excuse for this behavior when in other countries, USA included, this kind of procedure has no need to be this invasive.

*THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH* for airing this story. I receive regular infusions and have a port. My heart started racing and I got so scared when the TSA agent said she was going to touch it. For those who don't know, a port (central venous catheter) is a tube they surgically place (mine is on my chest.) This is for people who have to have regular infusions. It's like a permanent IV. Our veins turn to crap after everything we go through so it becomes necessary. The big issue is that *even in an inpatient hospital setting where only nurses touch it,, the rate of infection is up to 75%.* Then you take someone like me who already has a crap immune system, you infect an artery in a moist enclosed tube that has direct access to your heart... you can imagine. *If my port got infected there's a decent chance I'd die.* God bless this amazing woman for taking one for the team and educating people. I firmly believe this will save lives. And thank you again CNN! ❤❤❤
I have breast cancer and also have a port. I haven't traveled since my diagnosis, so dealing with TSA in my situation isn't something I thought about until seeing this video. I know that the risk of an infection is very concerning. Can someone educate about this? Are we required to inform airlines that we have a port? Do they show up during the screening process?
I had a port for chemo and I'm confused. My port was under the skin and I never had any problem having it touched, or bumped. Does she mean she has a hickman line? Like where they tubes are always in? Because then I could understand.
I've watched a TSA agent pat down a woman's bare arms after clearing the x-ray scanner without alarm. Everyone that saw it couldn't understand it at all.

I have a pretty bad story where a TSA lady made mt cry because of my disability. I was born with a neurological disability where I am in a constant state of uncontrollable muscle jerks, and so it is so hard to stand still in the detector where you hold your arms up. I always have to tell them, "I was born with a tremor, I have a disability". One time, a lady said, "stay still!" so I told her, "If I could I would....I have a disability. I was born with it!" and then she had the audacity to get more aggressive and then say to me, " Well you are gonna have to try your best to stay still!" I got upset and told her "I literally can't control my muscle movements. That is not how any of this workds!!" and she got so rude to me and said more things like, "It's not that hard to remain still. All you have to do is try!" So of course, I honestly just snapped said back, "how dare you tell someone with a disability to do something they told you they can't do? What do you not get? What is so hard to understand? I c.a.n.t h.e.l.p my movements!" ...so, the machine obviously lit up my scan like a Christmas tree and I had to have a full body search...like always. -_- I cried after, and still think it was a form of disability discrimination
That's so freakin' terrible. They just don't get it... Asking YOU to control your muscle movements is like asking a blind man to see or a parapalegic to walk accross the room. TSA is a bunch of jerks who do NOTHING to actually increase security. It's about damn time the airlines and our government do something about it.
Both of my medical conditions are invisible, and I’ve been flat out called a liar by TSA. I’ll never fly again. Suffering from not only a chronic physical illness, but from crippling agoraphobia caused by the battle with the illness, is almost more than I can stand, when trying to visit family. But to be told ‘you look fine to me’, and ‘you don’t seem disabled’, was the final straw.
Jules Marshall Haha agreed. But, having suffered totally crippling agoraphobia for nearly a decade, traveling isn’t just for fun, it’s something I need to do to stay in charge of my life, if that makes sense. I just overcame my agoraphobia this year. If you’d asked me in 2018, I would’ve told you I was 100% resigned to living the rest of my life behind these walls. But I fought, and I fought hard. I also suffer rapid cycling bipolar, so I have a lot of challenges, but no one who’s ever met me would describe me as weak, or a victim; so I’m glad of and proud of that 😊😊
Alek Johnson Alek, thank YOU for your kind words. I’m an EXTREMELY vocal person where my challenges are concerned, and I don’t allow ANYONE to make me feel less than for my mental health issues, or any other problems I’ve suffered in the past, or the present. When I was 12 TSA flagged me for no reason and quickly grabbed me away from my parents and took me to a pop up curtain room. I was alone with a man who told me I had to undress or I'd be arrested for not complying. I remember I was so scared I started to take my shirt off, when my parents busted in and started screaming at the TSA guy. As an adult, I couldn't imagine how scary that probably was for my parents too. To turn around and your kid is gone & then you find them alone with some creep asking them to undress in an airport. At this age now, I also understand what was actually happening and I feel so mad about it 😤
I rather be patted down then die in a plane crash because that one day someone took it over. Shut up and put up before people complaining like u end up killing a lot of people. Thank you Have a nice day. 👌🏻
Unless you’re a TSA agent you have no idea how many people they actually catch with hazardous materials. Nothing needs to change. If you don’t want the possibility to be pat down then don’t fly
Had they promised to retrain every officer I might have hope. It discourages me from traveling from any airports other than the two I frequent. I tell them I can't lift my arms and have a disease that creates lesions internally that appear as masses on the full body x-ray and they use a wand and check my luggage. I've never had to have a physical Pat down other than one time when I was flying out of Charles De Gaulle (forgive me spelling please) and I was chosen for a random search and the fact that the Securitas agent was gentle didn't make me leas anxious. At that point in time a few of my internal lesions had come to the surface and I was covered in gauze and in pain. Daniel Murillo Yes, but the male TSA agent was saying that woman would use as much force/pressure as possible to satisfy THEM. Which could have made things significantly worse for the poor woman’s port, etc.
The TSA is horrible at what they do!!! My sickly mother who is in a wheelchair and has a breathing machine was checked by a TSA officer which is understandable because she couldn't go through the normal machine but what was horrible is lady asked if she had pain and she said "yes, my legs and back are very much in pain so please be gentle." The lady then goes on to check those spots roughly and those two spots were the only places she checked twice in a very rough manner which made my mother cry because she has nerv damage and other things that makes the pain some times unbearable for her. The man who was helping us get to the plane even looked annoyed at how rough the lady was being and how long she took! She had to sit for 20 mins as the lady patted her down and touched the two spots she said really hurt twice and more forceful which I very much wanted to report her but if I went to do so we would of missed our flight and I didn't want to put my mother through another search not after such a horrible and unprofessional one. I do feel dumb for not getting the ladies name so I could report her later but it took all I had to not snap at her for hurting my poor mother.
David Tanner I should of recorded it, sadly I was to worried about holding her stuff and trying to talk to her to make her focus on me then the pain. I was very upset and wanted to tell the lady off but my mom does this thing where she will squeeze my hand so I calm down and don't fight people for her. She is a sweet and caring person and I am very protective of her and have fought people for being mean to her so when she gives me a sign to not do it I don't. We were going to see her parents and she was excited and if I started something they prob would kick us out...delta is shady like that.

I travel with a lot of medications and I didn't even know medications were exempted from the rule. Last time I flew I had forgotten to take one of my medicines out that is larger than allowed and they found it. I was worried that it would be thrown out and they kindly informed me about the exemption and did the extra screening triggered by the large container super quickly and respectfully. I was so thankful for them doing that and informing me that medicines are exempt! I am sorry this woman had to go through that and thankful for respectful agents who know the rules.
I have had cancer. Taking of my head cover would not be something I would've liked to do in public. Nor to show of all of my scars in public. I have not have had breast cancer, but another type of cancer, but I imagine breast cancer to is very painful: pain from the cancer itself, pain from the operation wounds and pain from the chemotherapy. Having pressure put on tubes operated in her body must have been very painful for her.
Nug tg you need to learn some manners. You don’t know what cancer patients have to deal with on a daily basis. What if these patients have to go on a plane for treatment?? Learn more about this type of stuff before you comment.
I flew from Australia to New Zealand whilst going through chemotherapy and having had a recent mastectomy. Qantas and Air New Zealand were so lovely. I didn't ask for special treatment, they just went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Great service. Hope US airports/airlines have improved.
The TSA is too aggressive. They search me every single time I go through the TSA line, they always touch my bare skin regardless of the fact that it is MY BARE SKIN. In April of 2016, One TSA agent felt inside my bra and my underwear because the tie on my dress lit up on the screen. The touched my entire body in ways that made me feel so violated. I was in tears and shaking. I was so scared that I couldn’t say no. I wrote about it to the TSA and Des Moines’ airport, and nothing has happened. I don’t have a medical condition like this woman, but I am a survivor of assault and being touched the way I was touched by TSA was incredibly stressful and violating for me.
Well if they didn't do that people with dangerous weapons like bombs or guns could get through. I don't know how old you are but I assume you are 10 or 12 since you can't figure out why that is.
Adian Sisco I was search violently in my crotch, my boyfriend asked me about since he witnessed it. These people are getting high on doing this, if we were a threat its stupid to search us halfway thru the airport smack in the middle of the building.
Pat downs are done in public, because they are patting you on top of your clothing. They don't to cavity searches in public, like this story leads you to believe. Even the text on the screen says DESCRIBES PAT DOWN AS A "CAVITY SEARCH IN PUBLIC" as if the person who typed that for the segment didn't even believe her.... Because they do PAT DOWNS in public, they definitely don't do CAVITY SEARCHES in public, and there was NO cavity search even done to her. She was fully clothed the whole time.
"TSA deeply regrets the distress this additional security screening caused Ms. Albert." Everyone knows that the "im sorry you were offended" rather than "sorry for what I did to offend you" is the most bullshit way to apologize.
My bestie is a diabetic and whenever she travels she has to alert the TSA officers that she am a diabetic and that she has a pump. But then there’s the times where they think that if her pump goes through an X-ray nothing will happen! SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN! It will stop working! Uhh people these days... And she’s only 13!!!
Radina Bakalov My uncle had a pacemaker for his heart and one time a TSA officer tried to push him through the detector by holding the back of his head. He was 83 at the time and didn’t have the strength the push back on the man; my aunt and I were screaming and she was crying because it could make his pacemaker stop working and then he would die. It’s rediculous, TSA needs to have and area for people with special disabilities like those

Were you born stupid or do you work hard for the title? TSA exists solely because of 9/11. Remember that? Hijackers crashed two planes into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon and another in a field headed towards Washington DC. Before the TSA existed you could literally sneak a bomb onto a flight and no one would know. Since the creation of TSA America has yet to see another 9/11. TSA stops terrorists from entering the gates. The infamous shoe bomber, was stopped at TSA. -.- #dumbass
@Jep Sep Considering I used to work counter-terrorism yeah. Prior to 9/11 America was RECKLESS when it came to aviation security. Not only did pilots allow civilians into the cockpit, but we didn't have any security PERIOD! We didn't have security to check bags, employees, the plane, or passengers. It's a wonder why no one tried to blow up a plane sooner. Now not only are passengers and their bags thoroughly checked when crossing between the terminal into the concourse but their bags that they check at the counter, also go through TSA. And you can't get into the cockpit without entering a code. You can't get onto a plane unless you've wanded down, as well as your name MUST match the flight manifest. Imagine being so fucking stupid you ignore the complete arrogance the US had prior to 9/11 and think taking over a plane was impossible. A child could do it.
@@bubblyblondebrunette_1581 while I'm glad for the added security, you should look at the facts. During a government test, tsa got a failure rate of catching weapons and bombs at 95%. The system is not as effective as you think. Most of the "security factor" is a deterrent at best, but most of time is just a waste of time, effort, and money and is a constant violator of privacy and basic manners.
TSA is nothing but security theater. It's there to make the common person both annoyed and feeling safer. They don't actually find real threats to security. My husband worked airport security before 9/11 happened. I was a high risk advanced pregnancy and couldn't work at the time, but they let me sit in on the training classes and even included me in helping to learn to recognize potential threats (I learned how to spot potential weapons on the x-ray and how to use the detector wand) - the instructor was amazing. The TSA are actually *worse* than the old school security training measures because of incidents like this. They're trying so hard to find threats to stay relevant and all they're doing is drumming up still more bad publicity. Now, airport security is just badly done theatrics.
Make exceptions where people with cancer or other horrible heartbreaking diseases don't have to participate in pat downs or can be searched except for certain areas of the body and what could very easily result from it if you're a terrorist and want to sneak in a box cutter or something?
Mat S Of course it prevents things. The very fact that people know this invasive procedure takes place prevents them from potentially trying to smuggle things. Plus the majority of the general public are happier and feel safer travelling knowing this stringent search takes place.
If not careful , and a port is touched it could lead to an infection or injury, disfigurement of the breast or any tissue in the breast . Hope that staff is better trained .
I remember when I went to Alaska about 8 years ago. Some older lady had a defibrillator in her heart. They took her to a area in the center of the room, surrounded all in glass, you could see everything. They then began pretty much groping this poor woman. I mean how humiliating, at least put some curtains up. I’m sure they have now though
The glass was originally implemented in the US so that other TSA agents could see the one doing a pat down in case the agent was attacked. I however think that it is a gross violation of privacy and harassment

Smiles4UFL well that’s her own fault for going through the metal detector with metal in her under garments don’t you agree? @@hannahslife201 from my understanding it's any part of the body that has access to the internal organs etc. The reason they should never be touched is because it has direct access to vital body parts that could be easily infected. Especially if the patient has low immunity. Ports can be medical devices that provide fluid through tubing or that remove fluid as well. There are some yt channels that show what it's like living with a port, how to change them, why it's important etc.

Exactly. They prove they will “win” and will touch you anywhere they can. Disgust.
Fox Fur that is a drain. A port is for putting in intravenous drugs for people with conditions where it has to be administered frequently.

Still, not everyone has the personality to delegate authority in a respectful manner and shouldnt be working with the traveling public.

absolutely unbelievable.
You can see the port through the skin right? If so, then that's a stupid move
You had a pick line. A port is in the chest under the skin

Rachel Boyd what are ports?
Aeko it's a type of tool medical professionals put inside (it is usually placed in the upper chest area, like under the clavicle, once inside there a tube that connects to a major vein) in order to administer cancer treatments.

I’m sorry, I’m a little dumb. What’s a port?

*If my port got infected there's a decent chance I'd die.*

Sami Vale I am so sorry that your mother and you had to deal with that horrible TSA agent!
It’s like she said “I have a port you can’t touch me there” and they heard “blah blah blah” 😒
@Jokoya She was Being pat down by a Women
@Shimlak
This may come as a shock. But if a woman does that to an other woman, it´s also molestation. Women can molest other women.
Why do they even need to pad her down? I mean don't airports have wands and X ray door things to check people?
They even invented their own TSA language.
@@matthewwilson5019
Its a lot more expensive to use a Xray device then to use a pat down but ware most likley just pissed and dint heared her
This is so sad , I hope no human ever has to go through this !
TSA doesnt stop anything, it's simply security theatre.
That's to not cause more fear to the general public. TSA has stopped hundreds of potential terrorist, you just don't know.
Mhmmmmm lol. That's why the only news they tell us is about fake lighters and stuff, no way the TSA would gloat about stopping terrorists right? Lol. Child
@@noax7635 not necessarily, why would they gloat about them stopping so many terrorists, I know they stop them but I don't think I would feel safe knowing how many they have stopped and how many they wont stop. Even if the TSA is useless in your eyes, they act as a sort of safe feeling for people scared of hijacking knowing how strict TSA is
whatever kosher no they haven’t.
noax why don’t you just like. Maybe stfu??
I’m so sorry for this. I experience this wearing a head scarf. Had someone stick their entire hand up the back of my head and pull my hair down to search it in public. I cried
That's terrible! I wear a headscarf too. I have never experienced this as I have never gone on a flight, though.
Good
I'm so sorry girl this should never happen in public :(
Omg I have no words....I’m so sorry you had to experience that! I’ve never been on a plane so idk but yeah
Aeshma You have to respect other religions this comment was not necessary. If you haven’t anything nice to say don’t say it at all mate... okay? 🙃
I wish i could hug her. This would be so humiliating. She is a fighter and deserves respect and privacy
Oh my god. She DOESN'T WANT TO BE TOUCHED, and so there's YOU, wanting to run up and give her a hug. Christ lady, do YOU work for TSA too!?!

@tiger's eye It's just a saying chill your eight year old ass
I think insurance should start coving cancer wigs!!!!
Y tho
Alivia Simpson because they are so expensive for a good one most of the time and many people need them to feel confident and insurance companies definitely have the money for it so it just makes sense. It’s the least they can do since they barely cover anything for many patients that are in situations where they have prolonged medical condition that cost a lot of money.
@@alanamaria1273 Fair, but good wigs are expensive for everyone so does all wig get to be insured.
Alivia Simpson but cancer is the cause of this need and cancer is a medical problem so your medical insurance should cover

Jemimia oh boo hoo you can take off your wig for a quick search. Not that serious
Nug tg maybe to you.
Georgia Landry its a damn WIG. If you dont like their rules then dont fly. Simple. Its a privilege not a right.
Nug tg you need to learn some manners. You don’t know what cancer patients have to deal with on a daily basis. What if these patients have to go on a plane for treatment?? Learn more about this type of stuff before you comment.
Its privilege not to suffer with cancer either. Be grateful, wouldnt wish it on anyone.
TSA are like doctors.
Person: it hurts really bad here.
TSA and doctors: *puts more pressure on it*
I agree
@Georgia my dads is medically trained, and I used to yell and scream whenever doctors do it now I just sit there silently

Take them to court, make sure you get a big pay out,it will teach them a lesson.😱😰
No it won't
let them pay back the wig
Lol sure
Probably won’t teach them a lesson but girl get that money out of it
I flew from Australia to New Zealand whilst going through chemotherapy and having had a recent mastectomy.
Adian Sisco you should sue them
Well if they didn't do that people with dangerous weapons like bombs or guns could get through. I don't know how old you are but I assume you are 10 or 12 since you can't figure out why that is.
KINGME! Anyone of any age would be uncomfortable with strangers touching areas such as there. Men too, not just women.
Adian Sisco I was search violently in my crotch, my boyfriend asked me about since he witnessed it. These people are getting high on doing this, if we were a threat its stupid to search us halfway thru the airport smack in the middle of the building.
Again, morons doing a job. What else could u expect.
Sue their asses
Why are they searching her in front of the window like that anyway this pissed me off .. man I Pray for her healing
To the two TSA agents in this video: You should both be fired and placed behind bars for discrimination against people with medical conditions.
Radina Bakalov TSA are stupid and I’m so sorry about your disease sorry if I used the wrong word
It’s rediculous, TSA needs to have and area for people with special disabilities like those
my literally brother has a pump too & they think the same thing!
Radina Bakalov hey man I work security at an arena where you have to go through metal detectors and we were told that ppl with pumps and pace makers can go through
Matt Gallagher and they would be wrong. Go ahead and listen to them, then they can be responsible for replacing an insulin pump that can cost around $7000.00. They tried the with my daughter on a cruise ship even though she had a letter from the manufacturer . She refused and told them they'd pay for it, the supervisor came over and educated the idiot That tried to force her to run it through Xray
My heart goes out to her. I'm so sorry you went through that. I'm on your side.
powdered_h2o you really shouldnt be. It sucks but theres nothing really wrong with what they did, and she didnt ask for a private screening.
Random Guy Studios the agents were wrong, she had breast cancer, i hope u have somthing somday and they search you where u feel uncomfortable
powdered_h2o I understand, but call ahead with concerns when you've special or medical needs!
My Galaxy World having breast cancer doesnt give you the right to not be searched.
My Galaxy World "I have breast cancer no need to search me."

You have to realize ANYONE can walk into a place and say oh I have a medical condition wheres her documents or something proving to them she had breast cancer maybe it would of been easier on her. There are many liers in this world and people will use medical conditions to their advantage, so think about what you just posted.
When do we admit that these screenings are 90% theater and stop wasting time and money?
Were you born stupid or do you work hard for the title? TSA exists solely because of 9/11. Remember that? Hijackers crashed two planes into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon and another in a field headed towards Washington DC. Before the TSA existed you could literally sneak a bomb onto a flight and no one would know. Since the creation of TSA America has yet to see another 9/11. TSA stops terrorists from entering the gates. The infamous shoe bomber, was stopped at TSA. -.- #dumbass
@@bubblyblondebrunette_1581 its theater.
@@markhayes2003 😂😂😂 Yeah no. TSA can be assholes at times, but it's not "theatre". It's caller security. Dont like? Don't fly.
Now, airport security is just badly done theatrics.
all of these invasive procedures dont prevent anything..
This doesn’t stop anything at all thank you for saying this I compleatly agree
Yep
Make exceptions where people with cancer or other horrible heartbreaking diseases don't have to participate in pat downs or can be searched except for certain areas of the body and what could very easily result from it if you're a terrorist and want to sneak in a box cutter or something?
Yes it does. what are you talking about. People have come to airports with bombs under their sweaters and shit. After 911 we have prevented a lot
I remember my family was so disgusted they wanted to say something to them. But our other relatives insisted, “they’re just doing their jobs.” I was so grossed out I didn’t watch. I mean how humiliating, at least put some curtains up. I’m sure they have now though
The glass was originally implemented in the US so that other TSA agents could see the one doing a pat down in case the agent was attacked. I however think that it is a gross violation of privacy and harassment
Who would grope an old woman
Those two agents should be fired
I used to love traveling but I am so sick of our crummy airports, the fees and the sexual assaults they call searches.
onceuponanexploration I agree..we're just treated like cattle now. It's just a nightmare to fly anymore. I remember when it used to be enjoyable to fly.
Smiles4UFL when was it enjoyable lmao 🤣
Its easy. There is always the Coach bus or GreyHound. Otherwise get a boat or buy your own plane.
I don’t know if u know this but there are people that sneak shit onto the plane that could kill everyone on the plane
onceuponanexploration this wasn’t sexual assault. Don’t fly if you don’t like it

Live. Love. Laugh. Travel meant that she had no right to touch her port after it had been explained why that's not ok. The germs could've killed her, and they didn't even do it in a private setting it was put in the open
TANISHA RENE'E she wasnt doing her job these people dont do there jobs right they almost never follow the hand book and if someone has a port they can not touch it or she could be hospitalized or worse this lady was not doing her job she was being an ass so was the guy arrested no but fired yes
Can we all agree if you hated either trump or clinton, that no one likes the TSA? Because if there's something that unites us together, its not liking the TSA.
I actually agree with the TSA majority of the time.
Hadley Anderson You should have seen how they worked over my elderly Grandmother (in her 80's) in a wheelchair. I stood by while kept her for 10 minutes, making her stand up, take her sweater off, take her shoes off, and fussing on her. Do you know what they finally found after all of their nonsense?? A safety pin in the front of her blouse!!
Smiles4UFL well that’s her own fault for going through the metal detector with metal in her under garments don’t you agree? You won’t right, because it’s Tsa’s fault for doing their job in finding what she was hiding there that the metal detector detected in the first place which is a machine not a real person. Or if she didn’t go through the metal detector because she does have some metal knee or hip and knows she will alarm at the metal detector and went through the other one that goes side to side then that is just her lesson right there for being old fashion carrying pins and shit in between her breasts. They always say to take out everything outta damn pockets for a fucken reason yet retards still keep their money and tampax in.
Tamara _05 i think he was reffering to you. But did you miss the news segmeny of the more than once case where 80+ year old people have hidden guns on their wheelchairs. Or the fat guy in the wheelchair that was 80+ and hid a gun on his belly. Do you ever watch the news?
I don’t think even people who are part of the TSA like the TSA...
I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. I get felt up every time I go through security. It’s demeaning and ridiculous that we are discriminated against due to our condition.
How is it always the innocent people who get screwed over by the TSA and never actual terrorists?

Katie -H that’s not how it works. If they feel as if someone is a threat they have a right to search them. Yes they could have done it in a private manner but they most had the right to search her. People do you not remember the lack of security on planes caused 9/11
