HELP! if you could, my dsi xl got water damaged between the two screens that fold. My ds won’t turn on like it’s dead/low battery but it charges. I need this because this ds is special to me.

My dsi xl has a problem where the battery connector popped of the board. So now id have to buy a new board (luckily the battery board (along with the dpad & power button ) are separate from the main board :P

I'm starting a repair project of my own it seems. Got a beat up DSi XL for $18 at a thrift store with a case, it had a post it note on it that said "Nintendo DS" lol. The top screen is broken so I'm gonna have to find a LCD on ebay or get another broken DSi.
I bought a new 3ds Xl on offer up for 40 didn't turn on, reason being was someone opened it before and broke the ribbon cable, I just bought a new one and it worked

all u needed to do was blow in the charger hole and tweet with the direction of the little thing in the charger hole make it go back a little andput some pressure on it to chrge yas I watched this vid and then I went and did my own thingy

Someone gave me today a Dsi xl Mario 25 anniversary. But they told me the power won't turn on. Is just like yours but i do have the battery and it charge and it has the little paper and it is pink. Thank to you i now know that is water damage

The Water indicator is normaly white with pink points on it. In your Video it is hard to see, is it complete pink?

When i plug in my DSI, it becomes orange, but then it flashes but when i try to turn it on, no response,

They are originally white with pink dots. I got one brand new like that.

How you end up with this Dsi XL? From my experience as a seller, authorized service will never repair you anything if its hit by a water.
I bought it on eBay. Nintendo's repair is all flat-rate, regardless of what's wrong with the device.

If you can fix your own DS XL, then you buy some screws to fix it and put an another battery in there from an another DS if you order another one.
