Thanks John! One added thought. There is another tapped hole on the single leg, where can put your elevation leg closer to the rest, if you are working with a limited bench top.
As stated, these are the race cars of rests for competition shooting. When you have the money and demand the very best, this is what you can expect. It is amazing what products come to market after shooters show a demand for something "more". Both are drool worthy!!
Hi John, Thanks for the informative video. Would you happen to have the soft case dimensions when the SEB Neo-X is stored inside the soft case ? Thank you, Dan
Great review, and apparently a couple of great front rests. However, these are both waaay tooo much $$$. I'm just entering F Class shooting and the cost is staggering. A $2000- front rest is just too unobtainium for the average guy...and will lead to less shooters, not more. I'm really hoping for you to do a "Great rests for less than $500- vid.
Definitely buy once cry once - F class actions & rests are the cheapest part even at $2000+ as they last forever nearly - last 10 years that’s $200year and they will last more than 10 years
Hey John , I’m looking all over for that “zero c1 to neo x quick connector “ I’ve seen in one of your utubes. I can’t find it anywhere. Can you steer me
It's this amzn.to/3UWmQM8 connected to the Seb with this amzn.to/3P1XEzS. I use and o ring on the 1/4-20 stud to keep pressure against the Xero so that you can keep it snug and still aim it forward.
What older, used rest would you recommend for someone to consider who is not going to shoot F-class, but would like a quality rest. Waiting for someone to upgrade and sell their used unit. What’s a fair value (% off new price $ to offer). Thanks.
How do they compare in adjusting the balance for different weight rifles? Can it be done easily on both rests? Also what's the width of these in the narrower setting?
@@FClassJohn blue! Just like my Mini X and Joypod. I’ve been using a Farley coax II from BC but man that base is heavy and tough to move. Swivel really does come in handy. Farley is built very well too but I’ve been having a hell of a time getting my 6x47 to stop torquing on it
Thanks John!

Yeah, that’s also a really good point. I forgot to mention that.
John, those are gorgeous rests! Great review of pro's and con's but I'm afraid to look at the price.
Hi John, great review, very helpful; what is the total excursion in height for both? Tks

It’s about 15x12x8

Buy once cry once is my only advice to you - you would be surprised at the wait list for a Seb rest.
SEB mini will do just fine for F class or BR, not quite as much $ and it’s usually buy once cry once, works very well

I don't do f-class. But I feel like this will be the cheapest thing in the long run

I have received mine this week. It does not come with a bag. What bag do you recommend?
Thanks!

You can find older Seb Mini's for around $800-1000. That's about the lowest I've seen on a higher end rest.
@@FClassJohn mini over the’x’?
@@jwschroeder804 You asked for older, that's the older. Sure the X is better but you'll pay for it.

I'll be coving more range specific items this week in another video and will cover how to balance each of them and some other items.
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Seb usa is sold out, where else can I buy a neo x,
You have to get on the wait list. It’s about a year long right now.
@@FClassJohn how about t-Rex ? How long is their wait? Or does anyone else make a quality joystick front rest?
@@williamsweet7511 last I heard Rodzilla rest are about a month out.
@@FClassJohn I’ll call them tomorrow, see what they say, thanks for responding
Do you have a front rest for sale?
No I'm sorry I don't
I’m just hoping you say the neo-x is better because mine is coming soon 😂
You're going to love it...what color did you order?

The zeb for sure !
For me, it’s like looking at a wheelchair and saying “oh sweet” 😢
Great review of two "race cars"....
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Comparing two, $2,000 rests. lol
Great review…. When you decide to get rid on the one you do not want remember to message me. Wink wink
yeah that's a pretty long line 😜
Decided to go with the Neo, now the waiting begins. Thanks for the great comparison on these rests.
@@FClassJohn well actually went with both. The wife will use one and I will use the one she doesn’t want to use. 😂
