I agree ive been taking this for years for bi polar type 1 along with seroquel. It's definitely changed my life for the better. Glad you found it brother!
im new here! My doctor prescribed me Trileptal yesterday for my mood swings and rage like you mentioned i struggle with self harm as a form of coping when im angry. I'm scared to start this med because i havent had much hope with my other medications. I was prescribed Abilify prior. This video gives me a sense of comfort to take steps to giving it a try. Thank you
That is awesome news friend! I wish you the best of luck trying it and I am really hoping this will be a good fit for you! You should keep me updated on your progress! I'm a self-harmer too.
thank you Ryan!! it is pretty nice, a while ago someone suggested I make a video tour of the apartment so I'm gonna try to do that later this week. it would be a good example of what someone might get if you are disabled or homeless and need subsidized housing.
@@corymodzeleski7191 sounds awesome are you living in GR now? If so there are many great organizations like dwelling place, community rebuilders among others trying to house people. But sadly it's never enough housing for the demands.
@@RyanJohnson-sm1cl Yes! I live in Heritage Hill area. Dwelling Place and Community Rebuilders are both great organizations. I rented from the Dwelling Place at New Hope Homes on the southwest side for 4 years the first time I lived in Michigan. Absolutely loved it. Really good people. I know what you mean, there isn't quite enough public housing to meet the demand, ever since they shut down the Morton House Apartments in 2011 it's been a lot harder to get subsidized housing here. When Morton House still provided subsidized housing back then you could get an apartment in just a few months. Now you might have to wait a while. My building has the shortest waiting list because it has such a high turnover rate, followed by the Weston Apartments (1.5-2 years) and the Herkimer Apartments (2-3 years).
Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. I just got Trileptal prescribed in addition to Concerta and Ritaline. It was for my "wrath outbursts" and I got a bit scared to start taking them all at once when I saw it was given for epilepsy or bipolarity. Thanks to your video though I got reassured that it's also for mood swings and such. I hope you do well 😊
I might have to get my trileptal upped too. I just stay upset all day but I keep to myself. The doctor told me if this medicine goes well then I might have schizoaffective disorder
@@elyousfi5661 I am on depakote er 500mg twice a day. I still have schizophrenia. I am just having problems having a stable mood and depression. I am worried that my depression will return so work with it the best you can. You have to have a strong will for all this stuff. So just hang in there my dad has made it to 60 with schizophrenia. I don't know how long others have lasted with other mental disorders so please hang in there for everyone that cares about you.
Hey Cory...I hope you're okay. I noticed a big difference in your appearance since your last video. Your eyes look very different. I'm keeping you in my prayers. I hope you can reduce some of your meds.
I'm pleased to hear that the medication is working Cory.
Thank you Mannie! I hope you are doing well friend!
