    I use ground ( Lean ) hamburger loose and not in a patty , fry it up with some salt and pepper. When it is 99% cooked drain any excess grease and add two eggs then scramble ( Mix ) all of it together. When the eggs are done and mixed in with the meat sit it back and enjoy it. If you want to , a cup of coffee and some toast really makes it a meal. A small piece of the toast ( or Bread ) helps to get all of it from the pan.

    Great video but why use a fire steel? They also wear out and need replacing like a cigarette lighter which is alot cheaper than a fire steel?

    It looked to be a bit breezy there. A wind screen would have been super helpful. Maybe help keep a more consistent flame. Looked like a great meal though. Thanks for the great vid!

      Isaac Newton Thank you for watching my film. I'm glad you like it. You are right that a windshield helps a lot. I will make a movie with a windshield and no windshield. Then the difference can be seen in cooking time. Take care and all the best. With friendly greetings from Scandinavia

    I have the same Trangia Stand/Shield but have modded the inner ring to accommodate the Larger 'Military Trangia'; They are slightly bigger & so can cook things for much longer. *yes they still 'fit' within the bounds of the Stand/Shield
    p.s. Personally I would have covered the Frying Pan with my Metal Plate for while, to make for a shorter cooking time.

    Can you take the alcohol burner out and put sticks in and use it like (kind of like) a rocket stove?

    • @GrizzlyOutdoorAdventures
      @GrizzlyOutdoorAdventures  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan George Yes no problem, you can take out the alcohol burner and burn wood in it. As a bush buddy wood stove. Thank you for watching. take care and all the best.

      Joseph Russell denatured alcohol ---in trangia brand bottle -

      13. How much fuel do I need to bring on a tour? It
      depends on what type of food you´re cooking, how cold it is, how windy
      and also what type of burner and quality of fuel you use. Here are some
      guidelines:
      - Spiritburner takes 1dl and will burn approx 25min.
      Generally allow 0,5l spirits for cooking per person, per week in
      summertime.the bottle he has is 1/2 litre -1 weeks worth for one person.
