his ibanez is based from S series wich is very light. Im ever did nearly as him with my schecter guitar, and the normal strings are strong enough to counterback against the tremolo pressure

The reason that Herman Li is able to pull out the whammy bar during his solos is because the whammy he uses has a rough brush-like end that allows the bar to be both pulled out easily when needed and yet still stay in solidly when inserted back in.

i went on the ibanez website and click on the media section,a video of herman's fuckin' signiture guitar kept popping up playing none other tha through the fire and flames and i couldnt figure out how to close damn thing.and any time i went back to the video page to see another video,it would fucking pop up again
one problem with the ZR, seems to me it only can handle 009-042, because i got 010 installed on mine and when i got home from the guitar shop, and yes i do use the ZR tremolo violently, the a string broke, and before that it was the d string, did i get to big a size installed?

@SabianDrummerDude i can do it with a strat bridge, but if you dont modify it a little bit and also set it up perfectly it will go out of tune.... you cant do pull-ups though since the trem will hit the body
but you need a quality guitar to try these out, as with a basic fender strato imitation for example, im afraid i will break the string-leg ( dunno its def. in eng) if I fuck the tremolo too much

@SiantDread do u use a floyd rose? Those things can take a beating. Pretty much anything else except for that tremolo will be thrown out of tune
