yo guys, we love CHICHA San Chen no doubt but different people have different preferences so let's be kinder to one another & not assume that one doesn't appreciate tea, everyone has different tastebuds! Give Brenda & Sew some credit okay, not easy to drink so much tea at one go 👏
I think it's an editing thing! It might have been better to do the order they tried it instead of grouping everything they didn't like in the beginning. As a chicha lover, I feel like they were hating my fav in the beginning.
@@fsmnt Same thought! I've never tried Chicha before, so what would you recommend for a beginner who likes moderate amount of sweetness? Like 50%-70% sugar kind 😂
Yup I agree. Lol I feel usually its the older people who will appreciate it more. This review is not accurate coz the 2 girls don't even appreciate high quality tea
I was so excited to watch this because Chicha is my favourite brand of all time but 4mins into the video I felt so sad watching their disgusted expressions and hearing their comments. Felt like I was listening to people talk bad about my friend for the whole front half of the video. LOL. Shoutout to the editor, I really felt you when you spoke up for floral drinks at 4:50😅Osmanthus Oolong + mousse + pearl is my go to comfort bbtea drink. peeps who like floral things, i think its really worth a try. :)
I think these 2 are not suited to judge Chi Cha. Chi Cha itself is reasonably priced and suited more for tea lovers instead bubble tea lovers. And Liho is the worst bbt I have ever experienced lol
I think Chi Cha is really for those who dun like bubble tea in general. In fact, after they launched the hot tea drinks, some other brands followed suit. This is how strong their influence is.
My personal recommendation when it comes to appreciate Tea is not to order 100% Iced or Less Iced. To appreciate the fragrant of Tea, I highly recommend you guys order Hot ones to try it out. And because their Bubble Milk Tea is Black Tea + Cream + Bubble, their choices of any 6 teas combined with Cream and Bubble wouldn't go any wrong.
Okay you are drinking it wrongly. All their 6 pure tea are good on itself own, you should never add sugar, it spoils the taste. And the irony is the S-tier isn't even a tea -.-. And to counter what Brenda said on the price, if you just get pure tea alone it is $3.20, after 12 cup you get 1 for free. If you really like the lemon tart (yeah it is good) use the free one on the tart. Bottomline is for chicha just get it plain and enjoy the pure tea, nothing astringenic like most others.
Haaa from both of their comments they are not tea drinkers but bubble tea drinkers.. therefore chicha don’t suit their taste cos target audience is different.
@@audeamus7388 have you watched the video? They clearly not enjoying the 50% sugar? but TO BE FAIR my taste bud is over 30 yrs old, I strongly feels that I might not enjoy my current tea preference if I am below 30. Nevertheless I just feel that when I add stuff I might as well be drinking water plus the stuff. Rather than tea plus the stuff. The topping for cc just totally overwhelm the tea itself.
here for the comments - so thankful that ppl in the comments appreciate chi cha for what it is lol. the bottom teas are THE BEST and the teas they ranked at the top make me feel like they should be at liho/heytea instead. AND YAH IF U ARE THE PURE TEA fans then chi cha is really one of the most affordable
@@EatbookYT one time i tried no thank you next this brand is way too expensive and shitty taste i still prefer cheap & good bbt , liho , hollin , KOI Thé , r&b tea , gong cha .
決明子 Cassia is a TCM herb, and one of the top benefits is weight loss. Highly recommend it to go with honey for those who are health conscious. Next time you guys can try bbt with a very unique name 不要對我尖叫 don't yell at me, it's another Taiwan brand as well. I think their menu may be more suitable for your taste. ☺️
never had CHICHA before. why? same as Brenda and after reading some of the comments, it seems like CHICHA is not for everyone thanks for the tier list. will definitely try them oh btw, love this duo 😄
their taro bubble is another level, should make it a permanent menu :"(( dont usually drink milk teas so i always get honey green tea, but whenever chicha has taro bubble i was def get green milk tea w fresh milk 0% sugar w taro bubble -- you have to try this trust me the blend is soooo good, the lightness of the tea permeating through the milk and the taro ohgosh
At 50% obviously killing off curtain flavors. Don't go to tea house and ask for 50% sugar for tea appreciation ? Get that everyone has a different palette but... Eh.. EGT add even 5% sugar might as well don't EGT. This company is basically BBT for Boomers as some pals has said. As said they do it like baristas for coffee, Is to enjoy the deep tea flavours. But I am always in the Ayakata camp and not Pokka so..
From a person who doesn't like bubble tea and only goes there to buy their PURE teas without any toppings, here are my favourite bubble tea franchaises in Singapore (in no particular order): 1. Heytea 2. Chicha 3. KOI Signature (not the normal KOI sorreh they don't do pure teas well)
Someone said San Qian instead of San Chen at 2min mark :D This food tasting is wasted on testers who don't appreciate tea sigh. 50% sugar? How about 0 sugar to really taste the tea? I think some of the teas taste better drinking hot.

Please get people who can actually appreciate and respect tea next time. Video was not funny at all with them constantly making faces.
i think Chi cha san chen is really for people who appreciates different types and qualities of tea leaves
yess their tea taste is soooo much stronger compared to the mainstream bbt (e.g. koi, liho, etc), always loved their quality of tea leaves!!!
Yup I agree. Lol I feel usually its the older people who will appreciate it more. This review is not accurate coz the 2 girls don't even appreciate high quality tea

i scared to watch the vid already.. i love chi cha..
This episode cannot la hahaha chicha sanchen only ppl who appreciate tea can 😢
I think these 2 are not suited to judge Chi Cha. Chi Cha itself is reasonably priced and suited more for tea lovers instead bubble tea lovers. And Liho is the worst bbt I have ever experienced lol
Fully agree. The two "reviewers" are arrogant and exhibit poor judgement in terms of taste.
If your go to bbt is from liho, you dk how to drink and appreciate tea 🤷🏻♀️
I think Chi Cha is really for those who dun like bubble tea in general. In fact, after they launched the hot tea drinks, some other brands followed suit. This is how strong their influence is.
Dont talk about favourite CHICHA drink. Sew and Brenda my new favourite TSL duo. THEY ARE HILARIOUS TGT IN THIS EP HAHAHAHA
Why are they hating on it so much? I feel like there's something underlying here they don't want to admit to, whether they're conscious of it or not.
The intro was so funny 🤣 Sew said I want to cry (but not now) 🤣🤣
Can we get someone who appreciates tea to try chicha? lol these two can’t appreciate
lol this comment is exactly what im looking for - chicha is not for basics
You all need to try their green tea with cream but HOT!! The heat brings out the aroma of the tea so much!!
my mind logoff when brenda mentioned liho is her fave-_-

The drinks are already not cold, there is no ice in the drink at all. I assume the tea has been sitting there for very long.
What’s your favourite CHICHA San Chen drink?
their normal milk tea!!!
U.
Their fruit tea!!
Need to try Dong Ding Oolong with Mousse!!

in mandarin the brand's name is literally "san qian ( like "3000" in mandarin) - 吃茶三千
@@Dragoondaniel I thought it was qian last time then why they name it chen? So i took it as chen😂
