Excellent decade of music and 1986 is a very strong year. Not as strong as 1985 or 1984, but many a classic and of course lots of good music 👍 The higher and lower rankers of the chart are all of a top standard. Stephanie had a big hit with her song across Europe. Fun fact - she is a princess in the Monaco royal family. It'd be like Diana having a career or now Kate, Zara or Meghan. Shame it wasn't a hit here as it's a great little song. Her voice is pretty decent. Ryder were the UK Eurovision entrants. At that point it was the lowest charting UK entry until 2010 (and our flop period in that decade up until 2021). Sadly the Queen's birthday song has aged badly. This would have been her 60th. My favourites are the beautiful 'Live To Tell' by Madonna. One of her best songs, and one of her best ballads. Very heartfelt and meaningful. The beautiful duet of Pattie Labelle and Michael McDonald. Two amazing voices in a beautiful ballad. The amazing 'It's A Man's World' by James Brown. 'Addicted to Love' by Robert Palmer - catchy song and of course known for the video. Shocking chart position (especially as their version is better than the Dollar one) but the amazing 'Oh l'amour' by Erasure. Never understood why that wasn't a hit. 'The Greatest Love Of All' by Whitney Houston. Amazing interpretation of the George Benson song. The beautiful Princess with her soul-pop underrated number 'Keep On Loving You'.The talented Billy Ocean with the wonderful 'There'll Be Sad Songs' and of course ZZ's top 'Rough Boy' and Stephanie's 'Irrestible', even if I prefer the French version. Too many good songs. Killer line-up. Amazing work Francis 👍👍
Thanks Francis! 3:46 and 7:14, cannot judge whether I like more songs than these iconic videos, but history showed that thanks to the success of these singles, both gentlemen's careers gained new momentum. On the other hand - 3:35, 6:44, 7:32 - I don't remember where this trend came from in April'86. Was it a movie/soundtrack thing?
Toujours du bon boulot comme d'habitude 😊. Je peux te poser une question.. quel logiciel utilises tu stp ? Et une dernière est ce que tu arrives à être rémunéré par you tube pour tes vidéos ? Merci beaucoup
Another great list Francis! Thank you
Always brings back the freezing spring of 86.

Another excellent compilation from a terrific decade of music & this was a great year of music no doubt 👌 👍
Wow at least nearly half of the songs in this chart are just classics, even those that didn't reach the top ten
Another stellar job Francis.
Oh l'amour by Erasure is one of the greatest pop songs ever written.
Agreed. Shocked it was never a hit.
@@some.random.baldie2111Should've been a hit for Erasure, but Dollar eventually got an outlier hit covering it!

Merci du commentaire ;) J'utilise le logiciel VSDC. Et je ne suis pas rémunéré pour mes vidéos (vu les droits d'auteur). Je fais ça pour le fun.
