Bonjour, mon bon ami. En général, je déteste simplement énumérer des choses dans mes commentaires, mais comme cela entre dans mon ère musicale, je n'ai pas le choix. My favourite tracks of Jan/Feb 1994: Terrorvision - My House Kristin Hersh - Your Ghost Soul Asylum - Black Gold Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5 Therapy - Nowhere Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy The Charlatans - Can't Get Out Of Bed The Orb - Perpetual Dawn Manic Street Preachers - Life Becoming A Landslide Elastica - Line Up The Wildhearts - Caffeine Bomb Saint Etienne - Pale Movie Soundgarden - Spoonman Suede - Stay Together Inspiral Carpets (ft. Mark E. Smith) - I Want You Beck - Loser The Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
Good to hear. Tho must admit from around 88 onwards the charts become less and less interesting imo - faster recycling and much greater dance and less musicianship
I’m more open-minded about music than the majority, as it’s not all about the top 40, there are some interesting songs to be discovered down the bottom end.
The Jam & Spoon record was re-issued in 1995. Great video.
Amazing time! Thanks again. Will you be doing January/February 1978 as well? 😊
Deep Forest - Sweet Therapy was later sampled in Mauro Picotto - Komodo
Some great rock songs from Therapy and the Wildhearts in this video 😊
CAN'T WAIT TO BE WITH YOU = NEVER TOO MUCH (ALL MY LOVE)
I was 9 years old when theses songs were in the charts.

Wasn’t ‘Line Up’ by Elastica in the chart in the Autumn of 1994? I’m sure it was ‘Connection’ at this point?
No "line up" entered in February
D:Ream was also re-issued in 1997, as it coincided with Tony Blair becoming PM lol 😝
👂🎧🎵🎼🎶🧠🥰🥲👏
Ah come on snoop barely made top 30 crazy

Racist slur at 8:42 of the video 😮
I had to look it up, it's an American word, pretty sure it means nothing to us in the UK and Europe and probably other parts of the world as well.
Deliberately so. I, as a white person, have no issue with it being used.
