Pet names, Bible in Cockney, Disco Jackdaw, Yoda tee, - 10 mins of stepping into Alice in Wonderland (I’ve got the Cheshire Cat smile) only here folks, only here 😊❤️ love it!!! Cheered up my first Yorks morning! Thank you Gemma 🙏❤️🩷💜🙏 ✨
I love hearing the comments Gemma. They are so heartwarming and make me love the community you have. It makes me feel included, and I realise how normal I am within it 😂❤ xx
My senior ball dress was a Gunne Sax dress bought in SF. The dresses were all designed by Jessica McClintock. I got mine at a discount warehouse as I was raised by a single mother. It reminded me of a dress Marilyn Monroe wore in a photo where she was sitting in front of a ballet barre. It had a strapless fitted top with a bunch of tulle to make the skirt. Marilyn’s dress was white, mine was black. I loved that dress. I think I still have it. 🥰
@@brendahanick9515 That’s very kind of you to say. I felt beautiful, and I think that’s what really matters, right? To feel good about ourselves is important. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Yes that’s true, but what is really cool is that you took the time to share an anecdote from your life, and it made people smile , and ponder to think about those days gone by. ☮️👍💜
I wish to be on the friendly side again. Based on true love. Based on knowing relationships will last. Based on bright light. Thank you soooo much for your work. It’s incredible how you are working with THE energy.
I LOVE the comments. My cat is Pearl. Though sometimes she is chuck or Ralph depending on what she has eaten! My oldest boy calls her Zezbie. Have no idea why. But when he comes to visit she still comes to that name! Said boy calls me Jeff. He started calling me Jane(my actually name) when he was little. I used to say it's not Jane, (meaning I'm Mum) but he turned around and said. Ok Jeff. It stuck. Boy now 28!
My mother kept me on a severe clothing budget- literally half of what she budgeted when she herself bought my clothes- because she didn’t trust me to buy sensibly. Finally, I pulled her old sewing machine out of storage and taught myself to sew in self defense so that I could afford a wardrobe. All my prom and concert choir gowns were homemade (and later I secretly made my own wedding gown while living at home). They weren’t bad looking at all, and looking back at photos, I see they really did imitate the styles of the times.
My cat was named Igloo by the shelter where I got him. My late husband dubbed him Iggy. When we are snuggling, both my daughter and I call him Iggy Boo.
He’s a Tuxedo, and lately he has been putting on weight because he won’t stop eating. My daughter started calling him Shamu, the name of the (black and white) killer whale at Sea World in San Diego.
Changing the worldview can be a difficult process sometimes though because that 'decision' of whether we live in a friendly or unfriendly world first gets set in infancy depending upon the home life we are brought into and it roots itself deeply down into us long before we have words to even understand it. That's human development science. The good news is that even children who are raised amidst abuse and chaos can have healthy outcomes provided that they have at least one healthy adult to invest in them and be nurturing.
From the US, had to look up jackdaws. They're beautiful. : ) I've become a master reframer of my experiences in order to help me heal from past issues and deal with present ones. Reframing less preferable ones into something useful and positive; giving them purpose that I can appreciate rather than regret or lament. Also, you're always so spot on. I hope you do another full love reading soon as I've had a lot of stuff going on and changing the game, so to speak.
Fun to hear all the comments (and happily surprised to hear mine! Lol!) I loved hearing all the pet names, too! With many cats over the years, they invariably all were called "Minnie" at some point, usually from my Mum's call of "Come in, come on!" which ended up in a high-pitched, fast talk as "minnie-minnie-min-min, minnie-minnie-mon"! with a "Purrry up" with a 'rolled P off the tongue", like a cat's purr! Lol.
My darling spoodle Harry (now passed on after 18 glorious years last year) used to be called Haz Dog, and "my little sausage" as I secretly love sausage dogs. ❤❤😢😢
Hey Gemma! My dog is a greyhound, border collie, black lab mix named Lilah. I call her Lilah Bear, Lilah Bean, Sweet Girl, Sweet Pea, Love bug, Honey Bun, and Best Girl.
My black chicken who my Dad named "Blackie" ... best he could come up with so I have a number of names to make her feel a bit more special 😅 "Chickie-babe" "chicken lips " cos chickens don't have lips 😅 "Henry Penny" "Pumpkin" And I guess she possibly thinks her name is also "Oh not there!" cos she digs up all my flowers and plants 😂
Listening to other comments comments seems to just connect us all- feel the love among us all!! I totally find your Yoda tee adorable- I can just hear his voice!! Thank you for sharing!! I am STILL loving the fairy doors and look forward to your cat pics, always! Thank you!!
lol! Same here.. all my pets have a name but then I have a pet name for their”pet name” and I call them by it most of the time!! My bird’s name is “Bubbles” he is a Moluccan cockatoo.. but mos of the time I call him”Baboshka” 😂
This was one of my favorite dailies. I have a new pup, got her 4 days ago, and have so many good nicknames now. Luna Bella is now Luna Petunia for short. ❤
I love all names! Thanks Gemma. My son is still occasionally 'Tinkeridge' also 'Boo Boo' at 29. When he was small he was the kindermouse and when his little friends were round it became kindermice. 💖
Love that Yoda T-shirt. Message is superb! 100% we have to fake it til we make it, or believe sincerely in the good and the possible. I know it has worked for me, and I have observed how it goes both ways. Thank you.
Here's a list of names for my Jack Russell Tilly. I called her so many names including: Tilly Poo, Toozy wooz, Pooh, Tizzywoo, Mrs Tittlemouse, Tooz, Toodles, Tiddles. She passed from this life last December and I cannot express how much I miss her. It's true; Love is Eternal.
Hi G, I save £2 coins, haven't saved that much yet, lol. Pet names, my last dog was named Mindy, but got Mindymoomah or Moomin. She was a sweetie, miss her loads. Yep def "turn that frown upside down", a very good rule to follow 😊❤❤
Thanks Gemma! I really enjoyed hearing the comments. I recently found this quote that I sent myself this time eight years ago that speaks to what you were saying about believing that the world is friendly 😊 (It’s by Hellen Keller): Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.
So happy to share that the astronauts finally made it off the ground. Woman aboard!! Also a man. I'm 50 miles up the coast, and view from backyard. Brutus sez Hello!! He's also poopy, Bubba, good boy, when he's not Poopy
My kittys are boys, Mr.Silver Bugseywugseydooters, is a 15 year old tabby with white boots and mittens. I often call him Dooterbug DonCatleo is 8yrs he is a norweigen forest ginger with long blonde hair. I often call him Stankers because he"s always up to something 🙂
I don't like generic pet names like baby or honey. I like to have a unique name between my partner and I. Usually one comes up naturally. One time we called each other num num LOL
PET NAMES: My 9 year old Border Collie pit bull mix is named BruceWayne (because of his bat ears) but I call him NewNew because when he was young he was so mischievous I was constantly saying, "Brucie, no-no." We also call him Brucifer and Boop 😂.
🐾Love hearing the pet names! My dear black cat, Nubi juan Kenobi recently passed away. 🌈He was 23! His spirit is still zooming through the house.🐈⬛When i adopted him his name was Anubis. I did not want the Egyptian god of death zooming through my house so his name was changed to Nubi juan Kenobi likthe Also called Poose (rhymes with Moose.) Mr Poosehead., Pope Nubius the Nubacious One, and My Pooselove. 💗💗
So I have a huge Norwegian Forest Cat and her name is Helga She's a Viking Goddess and I have a little tabby boy his name is TT Zoomer for reasons you can only imagine. So there ya go. My Little Ragdoll was named Lapiz Lazuli for her beautiful blue eyes - she waa my best friend for 16 years I miss her like crazy.
I love that you read your viewer’s comments, Gemma. I do not love that 2/3 of the video is comments being read out loud. I prefer the tarot and oracle and you. If I want to read the comments, they are easy to access and read on my own.
My daughters all had pet names: Bumface, because she had extremely squishy cheeks. Bullethead, because she accidentally headbutted me in the mouth & knocked out one of my front teeth(!) Bogbrush, because of her wild curly hair.
I hope I haven’t missed the opportunity to share pet names! - My 14 yr old Bichon Frise & soulmate Huxley, aka King Hux (Appalachian Trail Name & Jeep rock crawling name) and he’s also known as Huxalicious because he is delicious💕 Also I have a 7 week old Tortoise Shell kitten👏👏 At first I was going to call her Diana (patroness of countryside & guardian of hunting dogs👍) but I have a coworker named Diana &, no shade, I just couldn’t get the name to roll off my tongue. So after 3 days of awkward “Diana” her name was replaced with “Gemma”!👏👏- yes, after my favorite reader who has guided this Cancer through 5 years of…”WTF WAS THAT!” & “Wow” - sweet kitty is my Gemstone & she responded immediately to “Gemma”😘😘
My pet names...my first cat was named Sneakers. She was gray with white paws and beautiful fu manchu whiskers. She had kittens: Rossie whose fur was the color of Doctor Ross' hair on the show E.R. at the time, and Carni who was the color of Carnation milk. Then Cherry, also known as Cher, who had a really red mouth when she was born. One liked to box, I called him Holyfield. An orange Tabby named Britches. Another named Merlin. Later we adopted a blue pit bull named Cagney after Cagney & Lacey. That was after my Rottweiler/Chow mix named Cali after California for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Cleo who was a Calico with a checkerboard crown, and the demanding roar of a queen as a kitten, given to me by a lady at work who found the teeny thing. And somwhere along the line I had a Betta fish named Benjamin. These I had over time as an adult. I am not allowed pets where I currently live, but one visited for a while. A sweet Tabby I called Lucy, for Lucille Ball. I love animals, my furry fiends. And I love rembering them all! As for Prom, junior year was a teal green princess sleeved dress. Later in the evening I tore my hair down to headbang to Nirvana. Senior year, a darker crushed green stamped velvet off the shoulder dress, short than cocktail length, matching heels, and hair pulled back tight like a Robert Palmer backup singer. 😁 My date spent extra on his tux to get a vest and tie that matched my dress. We attended after-prom, and the next day saw Driving-N-Crying and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I have a chi weenie who’s name is Taco, but I call him Little Butt, which is short for Little Buddy. I called him Little Butt one time, and someone told me that it was what she called her husband!
Critters are fed and now I'm enjoying my rewarding coffee with you and the Gemtone Fam! I have a string of names I call them all at once with their actual name intertwined. Had to share my cats pet names cos I knew you’d get a kick out of a couple of them! Our girl cats Sherbert, Gizmo, and Ember often get sweet nicknames like girly girl, pretty kitty, beautiful, or sweets However we refer to our cat Maverick as Mister, Mr. Man, Mr. Mongous, or Hu (as in, “please, Mr. Mongous is my father, call me Hu,” because he is our fattest cat, lol) His brother Flynn is often referred to as trash cat cos the damn cat refuses to stay out of the trash bin!
