I love what your friend said about being emotionally unavailable like an aloe vera 😂👌 As a fellow Venus in Aquarius I remember complaining in my head about someone not getting back to me and thinking “even a cactus needs to be watered now and then…”. Incidentally I’m also pretty useless with houseplants (I think it might be because I just don’t live them enough and they can feel it), but I think outside gardening is different.
Tracy you never fail me! My sis lived with a remarkable person; her fern in this case was inherited from her grandmother and she claimed almost 100 yrs old. No reason to doubt her; she had lovely quirky beliefs was fond of Jung and got sick of guys (I could relate then) so dressed up including corsage, invited women friends around and married her anima to her animus to great hilarity. The irony was that she went to India soon after met a british scientist got pregnant and he was out of the picture to their mutual satisfaction last I heard their daughter gets a lot of love from both. What can I say? Probably both plants are still ok.
I have been rather a failure at houseplants for reasons inner and outer all my life. (Once a neighbor’s new puppy attacked my houseplants I’d put on the porch for the summer sun and destroyed them). But when I was in college, I got an allotment at married student housing. I read a book called Grow It! about planning a garden to put plants that repel the insects that eat the next row of plants and arranged my whole garden thus. Tomatoes next to peas and onions, nasturtiums near the squash and pumpkins, etc. It was a roaring success. I even managed to grow perfect broccoli when all the neighboring gardeners warned me it was impossible because of the little red bugs that always attacked in that region. (Not when they’re next to the onions!) It provided us veggies all summer and into autumn. I think I felt more compatico with plants that were allowed to follow their natural purpose rather than get put in a pot indoors.
Pisces here and I have the same shirt! Brought all of my house plants outside, repotted some, bought some rosemary and tomatoes plants to add to the yard.
Right. I got told i was a red flag today. Online though so I'm not going to worry to much about that but still. 😮😅. It sure frustrated me. I'm sure the haters are just haters. Loving people don't always tell you what you want to hear. I always say though if someone is drunk or there is an argument and they say bad things, it's really how they feel towards you. Maybe the haters do care after all. Who knows. No gardening today as it's overcast and very cold today. 😊 x
My daughter broke up with her fiance. She has offered me all her perennials and rose bushes on the property. Going over today to rescue my rare babies! I really appreciate them. My favourite thing about the garden is there is always next year!❤😊
My daughter had grotti intuition. Crying in the shower migraines regularly. She asked God to reveal what's wrong?...his lover called her " you know what's going on don't you?" Im angry about that. She is a great girl and he is gone...OUT!!!! FOREVER!
I lovveee houseplants. Your ZZ plant in the short you posted over the weekend did NOT look dead 😂 ZZ’s are sooo low maintenance . && that’s why I love ‘em…
You are amazing!! I am harvesting my blueberry bushes as I pulled up this reading! After I am getting tomatoes in the garden & planing 4 more rosemary & a dozen marigolds & several pepper plants. Tomorrow I mow the yard & install the deer fence. 💪💪 Hate away, Haters!!💪💪🤣🤣💕💕🙏💕🙏
Thanks, Gemma! Yes, it’s been a really rough year but things are turning around now. Am getting out of the custard and we are approaching the luminous summer solstice.😊🌞🌼🌸🌺🙏
Divided white beaded iris tubers. Planted out extra ones around other garden beds. Just noticed many flowering plants have seeded and started growing along garden boarders. So will have to try and transplant these to other areas of garden. Weather cool and overcast. Thank you for reading and street activity update 😊🤭😮
I have just started tackling my garden I have neglected it and I looked at it thinking no something must be done but now I collapsed on a chair and I am girding myself to move to go outside again thank you for the lovely reading need a bit of serendipity ❤
Our posties are good, they drive small bright yellow electric vehicles now, it looks fun! I did some gardening yesterday, I'll do more tomorrow when the weather is fine. Interesting messages Gemma, thank you and 💖 from Australia xx
I can grow just about anything✨️🙌🏻✨️🌱🪴🌳🌿 blessed with green thumb 👍🏻 touch 🙌🏻 🙏🏻 ✨️🙌🏻 we have cluster metal boxes, post carriers leave our mail in the box. We all have key 🔑 delivers daily. Ugly porridge is right. April was hard! Like pushing 🫸 custard up the stairs....plane flying over top gun t-shirt on ✨️😂🤣😅✨️grotty I get that feeling ✨️grotty intuition ✨️ listening for truth the flip side no doubt! Truth please 🙏🏻 that's it. Give it to me straight plain simple. That's the way I hand it back 💃🏼🫶🏻✌🏻
Morning Gemma, rainy day here, Not great with houseplants but have a couple of succulent money trees which have stayed with me for a few years, amazing lol. They're easy (really) water once a week, keep somewhere with a reasonably steady temp. Gotta go as the squirrel is all over the bird feeder and it'll strip it, oh err. 😁
Hi Gemma, yes keep stirring the porridge. Our post is ok. It's the other delivery firms that are challenging. I have a Peace Lilly and a Yucca plant and they are doing ok. It depends on how much light and all that. Good to hear the aircraft 🌞😊Thank you 💗♓xx
Yes, it’s been a what fresh hell is this kind of a day. Tough going. Have you ever tried growing ivy or a Christmas cactus? Those are the only two plants I have. The ivy likes to be kept moist and the Christmas cactus likes to get very dry and then be thoroughly watered every couple of weeks. They’re still alive after several years! My late husband knew all about plants and we had them all over the house. They were beautiful. He could grow anything. 💖 Thanks, Gemma! 💕💕
Royal Mail here in my village. One day all arrives in one heft wrapped in rubber bands. Then three weeks later a man a shorts appears again with circulars from energy companies 🤔
hi Melody, here in Toronto, same system as UK; during lockdown our mail person was a woman and she had the most amazing boots. My dog a regular occurrence on this channel was enchanted. But they only deliver now once a week.
Here in the United States, postage increases every year! We now pay 68 cents for one first class stamp. Also it seems mail delivery is erratic. Various times of the day, evening hours esp during the holiday season.
Ope I got my grotti intuition and it was ugly. I'm heading to the emergency DV housing tomorrow, hopefully. What a rough day. But I want you to know, Gemma, you're lovely and you made me smile despite it. I commented earlier haha, can't keep plants alive, not even thinking how badly this day could go and here we are.
Same about the postal service here (Canada Post): stamp cost has gone up, overall delivery has been surprising (both in a good and bad way lol), but in my neighbourhood we got a really friendly mailman, like the old school type who knows everyone and knows everything that’s going on lol 📮 (Edit: also, agreed, 2024 started off pretty crappily for me, only getting back on track now 😕)
Can't remember which video you spoke about hot chocolate, but I try to drink what they are calling "Golden Milk" -- almond milk, some honey, turmeric, cinnamon and ground ginger. It's really good.
I am a green thumb but unless you have the right facing windows for indoor plants and focus on their health it can be challenge with indoor heating etc!!!!
Being a postmen (the kind that walks around in a small town) is one job that I can imagine enjoying. The postal system here in the US still seems to be pretty good, although I think I heard something about it being privatized and no longer run/funded by the government (which seems very wrong somehow). Whoever delivers our mail, however, does have a tendency to cram parcels that don’t really fit into the letterbox and sometimes it’s really hard to get them back out again 😅
So yesterday I got fully gas lighted by the friend I stayed with the last month. My energy is too big, there were some truths and very painful confronting exchange. I am in recovery. Just landed in Manchester 🇬🇧
Ironically, I was having trouble hearing the reading because of motorcycles going by!! I watched a bridal show yesterday that had a woman who looked ALOT like a friend I used to have and she was marrying a man with my first name!!! Clearly a message, but I don't know what it means either. It seemed liked her Doppelganger.
Well let em get on with it Gem, I just shake em off, been doing it for years. I have two plants in my flat - (feel bad saying this) both artificial- I washed them yesterday 😂 I may get an Hello-Vera my self 😁 thanks Gemma 🙏🌸✨
Emmmm rare planetary line up yesterday and June has kicked off for me by giving a flu like virus. Day 4 in the Big Brother house 🐱🤧🤒. I couldn't give a stuff about my haters. They can go hate on someone else, as they don't want to look at thier faults. 😂
Hi Delia where in Africa do you live? My bestie's grandfather was from Kenya remnants of the British empire and somehow survived the Mau Mau rebellion. She went back last year with her son got Covid which wasn't too bad and had an an amazing experience and can't wait to revisit a real eye opener. When my Dad got ill with Alzheimer's our neighbours were a South African Jewish family who left because of aparteid sp sorry in the late '80s and were so kind; my mum a holocaust survivor not a zionist and it was so wonderful as she was also battling cancer to donate to their reformed temple there's a brick there with her name on it. Best wishes whichever circs!
@@EvelynBaron Hello Evelyn I live in Zimbabwe.... born and raised.... I have seen many changes .... but still a great place to live.... I love it here.... it is home ❤️
I have a theory. There is no such thing a house plant. There are plants you can grow in the house. This depends on the temperature of the room, the humidity, the light, how often you water or spray it, what you feed it with. Have I lost your attention yet? Well there you go, it's like having certain pets, they grow better in nature. My friend gave me an aspidistra, I planted it in a corner of the garden, it has thrived. 🦀
could you post your official e-mail i have one or 2 hilarious photos of my dog and cat people might enjoy. Tx Gemma will pick up info when you get time I am so bad with tech stuff😊😊❤❤
Wearing a top gun shirt brought the jet men out 😂
god I dislike tom cruise makes me a bad person perhaps but scientology almost did for my husband it was a nightmare. The film was probably great
I noticed that as well 😃 ditto to what you said ✈️
Def get an allotment. Got my chair, a camping stove and a kettle there, total escape from reality. 😂

Ancient proverb:
If you feel like you have to be pulled out of custard, make sure you take a few mouthfuls on the way out.
Custard yummy 😋
Hi G,I'm no gardener, but fairly good with house plants.
I have an Aspidistra, which has been in the family for approx 55yrs 😊❤❤

I'm in Stirling, Scotland and been seeing n hearing big, noisy, fast planes flying south today, in unusual flight paths. V odd 🤔
I keep hearing planes too, it’s not normal ☹️
Your friend had an awesome description of aloe vera 😂
The planes are probably rehearsing for the D-Day celebrations

That's because they have so many vacancies for all the rounds, the mail just piles up.
Haters - nooo, can't cope with that!
Our shire decided to get woke, so now the posties have to ride pushbikes instead of motorbikes. This has also reduced the average age.
