Got it with the white dial. Looks so clean. Love the bracelet. It feels a little flimsy at first but fits so comfortable and snug. Has a great look and catches the light nice.
For the PRX you need to pay more than twice the price of the Citizen for some references. I think it is an error comparing them. It all depends on the budget you have and in what you are looking for...
Great review, I have this exact Tsuyosa, and I agree, a great watch. Great design and well made. No sharp corners and goog quality. Citizen are 99% great value, and in my view the best Asian watch manufacturer.
Wow!!! Awesome watch and awesome video!!! I think I won't like the watch... And now I have a problem because I want one!!! 😅 You're doing one of the best videos of real life situation to wear and enjoy a watch... Not only to show opin the studio. Now waiting for the next video... 😬
I'm really considering this watch as I really like where the crown sits. I find a lot of watch crowns dig into the top of my hand as I wear on the left wrist. I think this one may be more comfortable than most. It's beautiful too.
Yellow is the best choice! Save the formal colours for other brands but this one is perfect for some fun. Loving the integrated bracelet and its presidential-like style, rivals the tissot prx in my opinion. I’m looking for a sporty, colourful watch too - hoping to get my hand on the seiko SRPD59K1. I haven’t seen much from citizen but this model is just stunning. Awesome stuff as always TimeDrops! 💯
Thanks Jazza & I agree 😉, the Tiffany blue is perhaps the “obvious” choice but so glad to have opted for yellow! It pops all the same & just so versatile! That Seiko would be awesome btw, such a cracker! 🍊 thank you again! 🤝
The PRX seems a bit underwhelming in person. I walk past these Citizens in a store window each day, they really pop. Probably not for me, but an amazing watch for the money.
I own those exact two watches... the yellow Tsuyosa and the mint green PRX. I have to say the PRX won my heart over more. The Tsuyosa is nice at times but the clasp throws me off every time I put it on. The bracelett is better than most ppl say but nothing special. The yellow dial is just awesome to look at and I might remove the cyclops. The PRX is my go-to watch tbh
Well what claps you want for under 300 $ and automatic movement ahahaha come on be serious, in my country now it's 270 euro same modello vs prx Automatic 750 euro , but the powermatic don't forget inside have silicone/plastic so
I love my yellow Tsuyosa, but I wish the band had screws, not push pins (nit picking, I know). And, yes, if you have the $ for a Rolex OP and can find one, buy it instead.
A miyota 8210 movement and a stamped buckle on the bracelet? $450? 5 ATM ? No freaking way. A 9015 maybe and a bracelet that wasn't so cheap. And 10 ATM minimum ...And still it would only be about $300. If the Chinese can do it citizen should be able to do it better. I have held this watch up close and three things seem to bother me particularly. One the second hand is way too thin and disappears especially as it passes the 12:00 mark. Two the double digit in the date window is incredibly difficult to read even with the cyclops which doesn't seem to add any advantage. And three the crown located at the 4:30 mark is near impossible to manually wind with two fingers. You are barely able to use it in the third position.
Agree , not a fan of this one, while the idea is brilliant the execution is substandard for the money they ask. Wish they didnt scimp, plus the magnifier looks terrible, do a 2.5 and the case finishing is meh at best. Also while i prefer the 'yellow' of this bunch im not a fan of the hue of this yellow which looks orangey. Prx is king in this pricepoint and this category of design.
Disagree. This watch deserves the attention. Especially considering counterparts like seiko will put a factory scratched hardlex and misalign everything that can be misaligned on their watches, slap a 500$ price tag on them, and still have them sell like hot cakes.
bro do you know Chinese microbrands are far inferior when it comes to trademark values? If said like you, I could announce that if Grand Seiko offers the cheapest watch at around 5000$, no way that Patek prices their watches higher
I'm not really sure what your point is. Other than I gather you believe that Chinese watches by trademark do not have a good resale value. The only watchs In my collection that I've never lost money on and in fact have made money on are my Rolexes. As for Chinese watches I do own a couple of San Martins and find that there quality is far superior to this particular Citizen. And there are very few Citizens I dare say that have any particular resale value that I'm aware of.
I like its decent, yet attractive look... But is there an Eco-drive version? I'm not rich enough to waste money on some low quality, obsolete crap, which people used to wear 50-100 years ago. It's like buying a car today, and return home on a horse. Btw, Tsuyosa = Strength? That's a true oxymoron for a mechanical watch. lol
The problem isnt that it is a mechanical watch but that it is a mechanical watch with low specced parts like the miyota 8x series and stamped buckle on a rattly bracelet.
@@Psysso Nah... No matter the quality, when compared to a well made quartz, all mechanical watches are just absolute trash. And I've had enough with them, their inaccuracy, impracticality and sensitivity. I have no time to spend on fiddling with watches, nor I'm some kind of a poser. I wear watches to tell time, not to brag around how expensive they are and how they have a _heritage_ ... Eff that crap. That's for kids and for brain staled grown ups who have no smarter things to do in their life.
@@damyr With all due respect i disagree, i own both and cherish both. They both serve a purpose and have a place in my heart. You could say im a stupid hobyist or romantic but i just love a mechanical watch and its inner working, no matter how primitive and obsolete the technology is. I do agree they are to expensive though ;)
@@Psysso Let me recap... Compared to quartz watches, mechanical watches are less durable, more prone to malfunction and damage, much more inaccurate, harder to maintain and demand (often pretty expensive) servicing every now and then... And on top of everything, they are also much more expensive. So, you actually get infinitely less quality, but for more money. I mean, wow! Let that sink in your head. Be honest, do you always choose to spend money on low quality products, which cost more than better quality ones? If that's true, I think you have a problem. Now, about inner workings... When you wear a watch, do you even think about its mechanism? Tho, if you care about it so much, why don't you rip off its dial and stare into the mechanism all day long? I mean, can't you see through the BS? Someone put the idea into your head that mechanical watches are some kind of romantic, glamorous technology, and you just gave it all the importance you could and succumbed to it. And the biggest irony is that quartz watches have superior technology, which took plenty of time, industrial progress and human ingeniousness to make it work and actually produce it. Btw, when we are at it, how about the liquid crystal display on digital watches? Can you even understand how it works? How numbers even appear there? How they change its shape so effortlessly? When you look at a digital watch dial, don't you feel like you're staring into a pure magic? Aren't you fascinated? Well, you should be. On the other hand, it's not only about watches. It's more about ability to think critically. And by your own words, I think you suck at it... at least for now.
@@damyr So in your opinion all people who collect or cherish memorabilia or obsolete technology like old cars, furniture, computers/consoles, books are ilogical, dumb and plain ol stupid according to you. Got it.

Hey, approx 7”! Thanks for watching :)

It certainly is! Congrats on yours & thank you for watching! 😎
Fantastic
got myself 88X and its awsome. for the price you cant go wrong i guess
There are also 3 more colors. A teal dial and a rose gold with a reddish dial and a blue grainy dial.
I chose the teal.
Great 👍
really makes me think of the tissot prx

I got a 61-6818 Citizen automatic watch for my late grandfather and it still operates perfectly after so many years
That’s awesome! What it’s all about! :)
Yellow is good one

Why does everyone call this Soyosa? it's Tsu, as in Sue. Sueyosa
Its Tsuyosa with silent 's' pronounced Tuyosa...neither soyosa nor soya sauce nor sauce(ketchup)😑
