That was awesome. I was impressed when my Tiguan smashed mud mountains in the Costco parking lot. That has been the extent of my off roading... beside when the wheels touch the soft shoulders while performing U-turns.
I have this car with the 190bhp diesel engine and it is fabulous, the torque of the diesel is made for it. I had the Honda CRV for 5 years with the diesel /auto combination and it was great, I hope the Tiguan gives me the same service.

VW, please but the GTI engine in the Tiguan!! It's 184 hp motor is dangerous and off my list of bys as it can't get out of its way much lesss merge in expressway traffic!
