Good day!!! My 2019 Tiquan 20 litre tdi 4motion doesn't have navigation feature what best can I do to get it?
VW group has always put hidden secrets in their vehicles. I have a Tiguan SEL Premium R line. I really love this SUV it looks great, drives great and tons of tech. If you have a panoramic sunroof it will also close the shade when you hold your finger on the door outside the vehicle. Also you can adjust your mirror to lower when you back up to see the curve and once you go in drive it will return to its original setting. I don't know if anyone else notice this but if you get a top trim VW or top trim Audi the LED daytime running lights have the exact same design as your taillights. Check it out it's true, but again it has to be the top trim line with the highest spec LED running lights to see it.

Any idea how can i pull down the front head restraints to minimum level? I have only aside button and head restraints stays always a few cm above minimum lvl. Rear head restraints work correctly.
Do these features work on the SE?

In the last tip you gave, do you have to have the key to close all the windows/sunroof- like if I leave someone to go into the store but then they want to come in too- will the windows/sunroof close automatically by pressing thumb to drivers side door without having the key on them? Thank you. The new Tiguan has deeper boot space which is great. However, the floor level in the boot is now lower and more difficult to lift luggage/groceries from as a result. How can I adapt my Tiguan to raise the floor level in the boot so that I can slide in/out luggage easily as in my last Tiguan?

Thank you kindly for all the hidden/not hidden features. We absolutely love the all windows settings. I need help with one thing that didn’t work, the rear camera jet spray has a sprayer but nothing came out. How do I refill it or check fluids?
Does anyone know how to get the music player to display every album so I can pick an album to play? Right now my VW infotainment center will only show me a folder directory structure (which is terrible to navigate while driving) then when I pick an album, it just starts playing the first track & doesn't show me the other tracks on the album. I assumed for a 2021 VW the media player would be way better than this..

It pulls the washer fluid from the front reservoir!
Great videos. Learned things I can use. The windows on our 2021 Tiguan will also come down by holding the remote 'unlock' button down for a few seconds.

Hey mate. Also if you hold down unlock on the key fob for 5 seconds all windows come down. Very handy in the hot weather when on your way back to the car.

I checked the car b4 buying & can't seem to locate it.
I changed my fob battery and the passive unlock stopped working (hand inside door handle). How do I get that feature back? Passive lock still works but won’t unlock. Any ideas?

If you will press and hold button on your key Windows will open or close. So it is better to show your friends option like that then open a car and press and hold button from the door.

Most of that works with the Atlas too. Do you know if you can do the window thing with the remote outside of the vehicle or just using the window button?
Interesting question...I know that works on other makes...Chevys do that... I haven’t tried on a VW!

Have you ever seen an issue with the 2020 Tiguan with the maps when you Apple CarPlay show incorrect directions and incorrect location? My iPhone also shows incorrect directions and location when it’s connected to CarPlay. As soon as I disconnect my iPhone the maps on the phone correct themselves. Dealership claims they’ve never seen this issue.
Ive never owned a VW before, and on Jul 2020 I purchased the Tiguan.. and I have an issue with the SE 2020 model where it had low oil level by 3,500 Miles, dealer refilled it and said they would monitor it, had service done/oil changed at 5k miles. 4 months later at 7,500 miles the computer advised low oil level again (with maintenance scheduled 6 months) went to the dealer and they stated it was under normal burning level, and would keep monitoring; now im by 9,400 and pretty much expecting the computer to turn on the Low Oil level signal...is it something common that would be happening with the Tiguan ? any Advise for this situation. Im first owner and appreciate the advise/comments in advance!

No, you cannot currently connect to CarPlay wirelessly. I’m sure it’s coming down the road though. Chevy has it already along with a few others

They may already be adjusted as far as they can go...can you move them in either direction?

@3:30.. New to 2020. My 2019 Atlas SEL P doesn't have the washer for the rear cam. Too bad as thats a nice feature. Too bad though there's not a software upgrade for some of these features (heated steering wheel/seat feature) example. Nr 5 is on the 2019 model also. It was on my 2013 Passat TDi. Must be a VW thing.

Ok, is there a way to turn off the auto breaking when you pull out on a small hill. For instance, I’ll be pulling out of a parking lot into traffic and it stops me dead in my tracks and cars are coming at me or when I pull out of my driveway it does the same. I love my Tiguan, but hate this feature.
Me too and my wife is an anxious passenger and always screams when it dies this…
This is super annoying. The dealer can turn this off but isn't recommended due to safety reasons. I pump the accelerator few times and it overrides the auto braking if it comes on
On the SEL premium you can swipe the key in front of the handle and the car will lock
Can you do one of these for the 2020 Cross Sport?

Do you know what trim level that corresponds to in the US? I’m unfamiliar.... it may be the case that power folding mirrors aren’t available on that specific trim
I have the sel and the side mirrors are not foldable electronically, you have to do it manual :(

Aw rats. The only thing that won’t work for me is the “all windows” thing. I had to set it up “all windows” like you said might be the case, but it still just opens up the driver’s side window. But no big deal. Doing that exercise led me to know how to unlock all my doors with only one touch to the handle. You are a gift!
Yes the windows come back up by pressing and holding the button UP instead of down.
