I know from my training while in the Marines, you never ever leave your post just for this very reason…. Your assigned that post because it allows you to have over watch of your entire space.

The two closer snipers had a tree blocking their view. The other two were probably assigned to another area. They were told that building was a police staging area so I can see why there was hesitation to confirm that it wasn’t a friendly fire situation. I’ve been to multiple high level political speaking events including Trump a couple times, granted never an outdoor one but I’m also press so they have my name, picture, all my info ahead of time, a special pass for me and usually a seperate entrance and there is no possible way you can even move around a parking lot in a suspicious manner without someone on you quick!
