You are welcome! I have recommended it to beginner solo campers before. It's a very friendly place and other campers will talk to you, if you want them to.
It would have been in July 2021. I returned last summer and it's got new owners but it's still the same. Enjoy your visit. It's very midge free but I'd take repellent just in case!
Is there any way to gather wood around for campfires? (I will go by bus there). Or if i the campsite sells firewood, how much does it cost? Do they sell beer? :D
They do sell firewood and there is now a new shop on-site but I don't think it sells beer. The firewood was about £6 a bag or thereabouts. There is a Co-Op in Ballachulish (2.5 miles away) and a Nisa shop in Glencoe village (1.1 miles) which both sell beer. The Clachaig Inn is a nice, nearby pub, again about a mile away. I would imagine you'll have to walk from Ballachulish as the campsite is a bit out of the way.
No, because it would ruin the grass. There are signs up telling you where to park. There are plenty of parking spaces though and your car would never be more than 10 feet from your tent.
I was just showing my friend where i was camping, then i spotted my car and my mates van lol , thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for this. Looking at this as a solo female camper and think it might be just great for a first trip

What month did you shoot this brilliant video? I'm going on June 9th and can't wait. I hope the sun shines on us.

@@CampCookExplore thanks for the infos! I think i can hop off in glencoe, glencoe village small shop is fine for me :)
Really nice and quiet camp site. Except for when mountain rescue helicopter is hovering around the hills.
Can you not park your car on grass next to your tent??
