Hello,
My brother and I just finished watching this video and have to say how amazing your woodland shelter seems to us. The firepit and grate, the wood stove, the shelter itself are all wonderful. We are older men of 71 years and would love to have a place such as this to spend time away from the noise of the world. Your creation has a magical quality to it, an almost shaman quality. Your spirit and quality are very much revealed in your unique shelter and also in your presentation. You have no idea how much I wanted to eat the chicken and the egg sandwich! A real joy to watch!! Would love to see more of your offerings!!
Thank you!
Greg and Chris
Andy, I was a subscriber when you only have a few hundred of them. You have a come such a long way with y our personal growth as a "film maker", narration, and content. Your channel deserves all the success you get with it and as always, will look forward to all your adventures, be they near from home, or far far away!
awe, thank you so much Maggie :) much appreciated, just happy to still have the opportunity to do it
Hear hear 👂
Strange to realize it's been 4 and a half or more years since we first had the pleasure to watch Andy (I found him through MRE reviews and Atomic Shrimp 😂).. Been a absolute pleasure
Wind down for bed for me after a hectic day. There could not have been anything better video for me on TH-cam than this. However, the breakfast was torture to watch for this ex pat Andy. When I get back to the UK my first go to is haddock and chips, the second bacon and eggs! Keep these videos coming Andy!
AMEN 💯
Watching other people process wood is great. There is the satisfaction of seeing the results, and my back doesn't hurt after. Lol
You could make a breakfast soup with bread. 😋
Don’t worry about viewers getting bored. It’s just nice to hang out with you and vicariously relax in nature.
It was an excellent show. Thanks for producing such terrific videos.
Nothing too fancy ,nothing too crazy.. .still just quality content ...Andy ❣
thank you very much :)
Andy, If you want to keep your fire going through a bit of rain, put the grill over the fire and put flat rocks on it. Even if you pile on small ones, the rain will steam off of the hot stones and your fire will not go out.
Great idea!
I love how you keep returning to this shelter. I remember watching the build video of it. It's one of my favorite designs for personal use.
Don't stop impressing peoples man. I'm Indonesian as always enjoy your videos. Thanks
Man, that chicken looks gooooood especially outside camping on the open fire!
I love the rain on the roof and I'd love it even more in a shelter like that. I love sleeping out in nature........there's nothing like it.
these are great viewing! just the right calm commentary and nature, handtool sounds. Great job all around mate! Happy to tag along. my best to you
.
Hi Andy
Your definitely a man with aptitude, aptitude as been with humans from the very beginning, aptitude keeps us evolving ❤
That cabin is Brilliant absolutely Brilliant 😀
Hi Andy, good to see you back at the shelter. Always a joy to see you building new items. Dinner looked very tasty. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Thanks Yvonne, great to have this little shelter to visit
Keep up the good work Andy I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of years now, I love seeing the old country👍 watching from Australia now 🇦🇺
You are one of the best on TH-cam Andy. Thank you for letting us all ride along. And your collaboration 's with the S bloke are amazing. It's obviously the friendship is genuine and shines like the sun! Thanks again to the both of you.
Awesome video Andy! Ahhh I've been wearing your hoodie all week and get asked about it. Very proud to represent! 💯🖖🤘🍻
In a crazy world we now live, its truly so nice to sit in peace and quiet, and enjoy your excellent content! thanks soo much
Nice to see you out and about in the wilderness my friend. A great video as usual.
It has to be said, you are a great cook.
If you can knock up grub like that in the field, heaven knows what you can cook at home.
Fantastic Stuff.
I think this is the best video you're ever done. Great work, thank you
Nice Videos, Hooked to them since Lockdown..By bringing nature to our houses you are doing a great job!
Thank you :D very happy to help
This is a great video for campers to input more camping knowledge. In addition, the sauce you make looks delicious.😋
ANDY ME & MY MOM ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU. YOUR SMILE IS CONTAGOUS & YOUR VIBE IS PEACEFUL. WE WATCH EVERY EPISODE ALWAYS LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING THE NEXT... LOVE YOU ANDY
You've found yourself a little piece of heaven right here on earth there Andy 🙂
That shelter has weathered in nicely, and that fire pit is superb.
You and Corporal's Corner have been very instructive and inspiring. I'm moving from Florida to Colorado in a couple of weeks and I am looking forward to really getting stuck in over there. Thanks for all you do and cheers from across the Pond.
Always really enjoy watching this guy. What an amazing channel. It's very relaxing and I would imagine he is helping many people with PTSD struggles and helping many relax. Great guy, great cook, great creator and builder. Cannot go wrong.
I don't have PTSD but I do have stress issues and watching Andy is like therapy honest to goodness 🙂
Yea he’s the best one out of the camping videos.
This man is helping me through my grieving. It some how comforts me⛺️ 3:50
Just thinking about all the cool shelters you've built over the years. This one seems quite like the ones in Sweden on the first trip. Well thought out so that it's a place to sit as well as to get out of the weather. If it was really bad, you could drop a tarp. Yes, french toast is good, you've done pancakes and of course eggs, Simon just did waffles made from canned biscuits; I'd imagine there are a lot of products that would make a hearty breakfast. You'll come up with some good ideas; you've a knack for that! Thanks for another terrific video.
Fascinating. You make it look so simple and easy.
I love watching your videos (never been camping in my life lol)! Thanks for making quality content, it's so peaceful. Glad you have your little oasis.
You... NEED.. to get out!
Doesn't have to be expensive camp gear.
Just what you need to have a good time!!
Your soul craves it and you know it!
You are missing out. Camping is an excellent way to relax and de stress
@@TheFLOMAN76 It really does seem peaceful.. It's just so tough to get started! But watching these videos has certainly given me confidence to try especially bc my husband and I just moved to 10 acres and part of it is wooded. NOW IS MY CHANCE!!
The more I see the woodland shelter the more I appreciate the work that has gone into it. Well done Andy. I think someone in previous posts suggested a waterproof roll up/roll down 'door' for the shelter, which is detachable for those really bad nights. Maybe heavy waxed canvas?
Just a great place to be. It brings us as much pleasure as it does you. 👍
This is my favorite shelter 😁
Great video Andy. This has become my favorite spot to watch you cooking and bushcrafting. Thank you.
Absolutely love this channel Andy everything you do always looks so effortless
I love this!! Cant get enough of this shelter set up!
I especially love the lanterns and the leather covers. I am going to order one of those lanterns asap!!
Cheers :D got a few jobs i want to do there next visit
Andy your videos are so good for the soul, I look forward to them every week, great set up you've got there. I've been watching since you first started, you've come such a long way, well done mate. 👏
If you add a stone backstop/reflector to your fire pit you will find that it will heat that shelter much nicer especially in the colder months. I love the shelter and am really interest to see it used in the colder months and the upgrades you will make.
Your shelter has really evolved into an awesome camp site.
Love your roof.
A week up there in summer would be nice! Winter would be a real challenge!!!
My favourite part is always making dinner. You're such an amazing cook! 😋 Thanks for the adventures - culinary and more 🏞
Love your work and gadgets, you are an inspiration in a lot of ways
Thank you very much indeed :)
So cozy to have the stove in the leanto. I think that should be a regular feature. Beautiful drone footage. Love seeing you smiling and enjoying your little home away from home.
you always eat like a king! I couldn't think of a better day night and morning. That camp is home from home. looks so cosy. cheers!
The little stove set up actually worked out really well! Nice and cozy, and you're able to throw wood in it easily from where you lay. Love watching your vids, they're so relaxing.
Look forward to your wonderful videos. Great to see your smiling face after watching all the crazies in the world. Thank You.
The first time I saw you was a video you did from an abandond castle. You had to wait on golfers before you could finish. I've watched your videos every since 😊
New K S upload, nice 😃👌👍
Andy, enjoy it, with an empty belly, I can't sleep either. Another good beer and something warm, the world looks, no matter how the weather is, quite different. Greetings from Frankfurt
You're such an inspiration for people who are interested go out camping of this nature.. thanks for sharing these wonderful videos with us..
Nothing says wakin' like eggs and bacon. Another fun video Andy. Thank you.
I finally was eating my dinner of chicken and rice while you were cooking your dinner😂 Another wonderful video.
Really like the fire pit/ grill combo. Very versatile.
What a beautiful shelter you built! It looks very inviting! Not to mention the excellent jerk chicken. I like hot food and hsve grown a lot of super hot chilis, but I would only use scotch bonnets for something quick. It's a heat you can undo and a marinade for any length of time can be a 5 alarm fire. You have the greatest vids and they're so enjoyable especially since I'm old and pretty disabled. It brings me back to my camping days in my youth! Thanks Andy!
A great video as always Andy. We'll done. Thoroughly enjoyed watching 😀
Hi andy we keep watching all your videos, very inspirational on getting people outdoors
We are getting into wild camping with our boys
Keep the vids coming 👍🏼👍🏼
I really like how you made this shelter. It's beautiful.
Haven't watched since early summer. Nice time to start watching again
I've only recently discovered you on here Andy. I'm loving your videos so much, everything...the bushcraft, your cooking, your lovely calming demeanor and the chillness of it all. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into all of your previous videos. Thank you!
Great to see you out one night at the shelter that meal looks marvellous thanks Andy for sharing a cracking video see you on the next video take care 👍👏
thanks Andrew, love my little shelter, so convenient :D
I love to see your smiling face :) you are very fun to watch my friend!
I really enjoyed this video, good to see that big smile, good food, good beer, good times
Here in the Adirondacks we call this shelter a Lean-to. Awesome video!
If I was camping as much as you , I would make a rain shelter for my campfire ! Something light like like the table top I have seen you use. When not in use you can roll it up and tuck it away there in the shelter. Sort of a set of half rounds for the bottom layer then a second layer on top that sets in the trough of the first layer something like tiled roofing does !
If you succeed in making it lightweight, you could use it in other places !
Another great video Andy I enjoy watching ur camping 🏕 cooking videos.. 🙂🤠
22:50 the scene is beautiful. Well framed, well lit, wonderful colors… great video overall. You are a masterful videographer, sir!
Well I spoke too early because 23:00 is even better!! 😂
That chicken looks amazing. Like I can get over how good it looks. I bet it's tender! It has me drooling.
Wonderfully cool videos Andy ! Dinner & chair making. Just the neatest stuff you do while camping. 🍻🍺
C'mon Saturday morning!
Looking forward to another great video! Cheers from The Prairies Of Canada! 🍻🇨🇦
Thanks :) enjoy when it comes
I just watched the new video on tv love watching you cook love what you made do you stay warm in there at night.
A tad bir of brown sugar on the rice completely changes the game with rice. Just how I like it anyway. Excellent build. Gave me some great ideas. Thanks.
Great shelter & fire pit you have to camp in. Best thing about fall camping is no bugs!! Looking forward to your next video
You make it look so easy and fun , I wish I could do this but because of injuries and arthritis I’m unable, keep making them , ps the rain videos are the best !
Hey Andy , the shelter is slowly morphing into the landscape i'm guessing it must be nigh on invisible from most directions now. Breakfast idea's.Nasi Lemat. Malaysian snack/breakfast dinner with a variety of ingredients and /or style's . Brilliant as always, ATVB2U , Scott Somerset
Fabulous drone shots. Your video's calm me. Thank you. I would love to camp again but it would be just me. At almost 69 years old it worries me a little. If ketchup is your thing don't let anyone bug you.
I've been following you for a while on Simons channel but only recently suscribed to yours. I feel like I'm playing catch up and trying not to binge watch everything all at once. Really great content, I'm enjoying every second.
Really enjoyed this one. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Make some Shakshuka for breakfast. Every recipe is slightly different but basically the same too. Fix to taste. It's not any more difficult to make than anything else you cook and it's delicious! I love it with a bit of hummus on the side and some pita bread. You will get addicted.
Shoutout from South Africa Andy. Love this channel! thank you!
Only found this channel today, absolutely love it!
Another very relaxing, enjoyable video sir. I really like your cabin. I would be tempted to stay out there. Stay safe.
You make your space very hospitable. Just found your channel. Excellent content, well produced, photography is artful, and the cooking mouthwatering! Well done!
Class video as always andy! Always love chilling and watching your content
That’s a really nice cozy set up you’ve made ❤
Another great videos those lanterns make the camp look so cosy to 😊
Another good one. xx
From Canada, keep up the great work.
Sweet cozy little nest .
You never know Andy, one day you might have a mighty white oak growing from your shelter! How cool would that be right?
The Laplander has such a distinct sound , I notice it with mine all the time , every Laplander sounds the same ha ha
When you and Simon team up, that's the best. I would love to camp with you guys, but I live in the USA. 60 years old and only 629.00 a month SSI
Andy! ALWAYS look forward to watching your videos. Nice to watch when I’m having a crazy week. Always relaxing to watch you! And learning so much from you! ❤️❤️. We have a large off grid property. I’m learning to make shelters from your videos
Good afternoon and great job on TH-cam video 👍 😎 amazing idea TH-cam 4K video
Thanks Michael
Yay! Back at the cabin! And it appears that the live roof is still alive.
Aw man, you cheated! ^-^
Those portable wood stoves are the greatest thing since sliced bread 🍞🙂
You make splitting wood look easy. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video. I love the Adirondack shelter. Good luck with the moss roof.
cheers david, hoping it takes this time haha
Another great video! Can't wait to see the finished chair! Once again the food looked delicious!
