Thanks for the excellent video. I really enjoyed it. I hunted Afognak Island in the early 80's and your hunt brought back memories of the tough terrain and great scenery.
I appreciate the comment. I actually went to Afognak Island the next weekend to look for elk and black tail. You will have to check out that episode to see if it brings back additional memories....
@@DiscoveringtheLastFrontier1 Alaska will find any weakness in your gear, but that's how we learn right? Miserable to experience but I bet you guys will never forget this trip. Thanks for sharing and congrats.

The terrain was insane- I’m exhausted just watching this video! So happy you got your goat, Brando! Awesome video & content, Luke & Zac!
It is almost beyond belief at times. Glad we all made it home in one piece.
That’s was just a bit intense. So thankful you all made it back safe & sound.
Thanks! A safe return was in doubt a couple of times but we pulled it off! Whew!
Great job capturing an adventure you will be telling stories about the rest of your lives. Alaska is beautiful and completely unforgiving.
Thanks for checking out another episode! It was one heck of an adventure, never a dull moment in the backcountry.
That was awesome! Loved the video!
Thanks for checking it out, when we were not suffering, we had a good time.
Wow! I was sitting on the edge watching this! I could almost feel your pain! So glad you got a goat and made it home safe!!
Thanks! It was a wild ride for sure!
One word......Hilleburg!
Clearly we are rookies! Thanks for the heads up, a few other experienced folks said the same thing. That will be my next tent purchase.
Bet you have a Hilleberg next time haha.
Tell me about it, the first night in the $600 tent and it ripped wide open. Will need to upgrade.
