Because people have removed God and His Word from their lives - sadly.😭 My Beloved and I have been happily married for 43 years next month.💙❤️ God and His Word is the super glue that holds our life's together! ♥️♥️♥️
@@jillywells1232 Yes. I would have divorced my husband several times over if I hadn't respected God and His word and my marriage vows like I did. My husband hadn't cheated on me, wasn't even into porn and didn't get physically or clearly, definitely otherwise abusive, so, I didn't have grounds but I was miserable. We had severe difficulty in other ways and it got way too hard and lonely for way too long, and didn't seem like it was ever going to get better. But, I knew that either he was a believer and, with my prayers, support, love and occasional conversation/requests/reminders and God's own agenda with Him, he'd eventually grow more Christ-like and thus more of what I liked and needed... OR he wasn't a believer after all ( he was very backslidden for a while ) and so would eventually give me grounds for divorce or leave me himself. Esp. if I prayed for that to happen vrs. a lifetime of status quo. . Thankfully, he came around after a humbling experience and admitted he'd been being fake for a long time, and taking our his bitterness against my dad on me - they'd had issues ( which I knew he was doing, but he hadn't see that at 1st), and it improved by leaps and bounds from there. We still had to let un-agreed-upon memories, perspectives and stuff go, forgive and forget and etc. and still have to at times, but he really, really loves me and we've had a happy enough marriage for the last 7 of our 15 years. We had a lot good & ok times within the 1st 7 we can remember fondly too. I prayed for him and for my own correction in case I was wrong, mistaken, missing anything, etc. etc. , sincerely, all along and had us pray together - out-loud - often throughout, during which times I would say those types of things to God for myself, and for him. Sincerely - not meaning to manipulate or "score points" but yes, to also let my husband know that this IS what I also pray. That he can trust that I'm not just assuming I'm always right or unwilling to let God show me differently. He could hear me tone of voice, the various things I said, hear my sincerity in spite of being very hurt and frustrated & exhausted. That obviously DOES build trust and eases negative emotions and presumptions. A lot of details, but I hope this helps someone.
Lots and lots of factors I think, but a big one being how the other person was raised, not just taught but "caught" - modeled and the general atmosphere, attitudes, subtle influences of their home and life, growing up. Plenty of people had great parents, but were also heavily influenced by their peers, TV, etc. etc. . But u take any down-home or farm kid with a few ( esp. some little siblings to care for) , and your odds are much higher that you've got yourself someone who's into a long term, wholesome relationship and has a lot to bring to the table to help that happen. Even then, obviously, you just may not be right for each otherm Prayerfully keep waiting & trying until you meet that one that lasts and seems right to head into marriage with, and once you're married - stick with it. I would say, or at least don't take the traditional marriage vows just to break them, but really, whether we say them or not, they are only describing what marriage just IS about. It IS a covenant which IS to last until death do you part - although some exceptions can be made on your end in clear conscience, if your spouse breaks them 1st - . It IS regardless of the state or your health or wealth, it IS exclusive and you DO owe it to your spouse to try to faithfully meet their sexual and emotional needs, in healthy, God-honoring ways of course - whatever that looks like to you, but within the parameters of God's word. So, I wouldn't go on more than a couple dates with anyone who doesn't seem like "marriage material". While ya don't want to over-interogate, those of us dating for marriage/real love and companionship do not mind dealing with topics of beliefs and values in the early conversations. We actually want to avoid getting someone romantically into us just to have to end things because we don't have basic important things in common. When I met my husband, a sort of set-up by relatives at my cousin's wedding, I'd only been on a few dates in the previous year plus ( I was overworked on my family's farm) with men I had far too little of crucial things in common with. So, I laid it ALL out in our 1st big conversation walking around outside that evening. He didn't run, that was a good sign ;) ! We had our 1st date the next night ( I was gunna be real busy the next 2 months) and married a year later. We've been married 15 years now, and he's a wonderful man & friend who I fully trust with all the important things in life. He swears he'll die within 2 days of my death if I die b4 him.
Update - From KT’s friend. To all those wondering, they did see each other one more time. They kept in touch and her daughters were helpful in that endeavor. Sending cards , gifts. She sadly passed, but their story lives on.
This is so sweet... My own father actually passed away over 21 years ago, and my Mother hasn't ever even gone on a date or been with another man. He was her true love and no other man could take his place. Now she has Dementia/Alzheimers and I care for her 24hrs a day, and she talks about him often. True Love really does exist... 💞
Everybody's raving about their love, I'm impressed by the reason he didn't come back earlier... faithfulness to his wife, now that's more honorable than any medal a man can wear on his chest.

I’m a 30 yr old man and I cried like a baby watching them say goodbye.. He knew in his heart this was the last time he would ever see his love again. He didn’t want to let go of her. Very emotional love story. 🥺❤️
It makes me cry, true love is so beautiful, it overcomes time and distance. I would like to show this video to the entire world. New generations have lost the most beautiful things in life.
Crying lol...I wanted to hear that he came back and they lived happily ever after. I'm such a softie. Grateful that someone made this happen for them, what a sweet thing to do.
I was crying as I watched these two sweet souls. Bless their hearts! My Dad fell in love in Germany with a 'Frauline' back in WWII, when he was stationed there as part of the occupying troops. He came back to Texas and always kept a photo or two of the German Woman he fell in love with. The weekend before he died he told my Son and I about her and said her name and I asked him if he would like for me to get online and try to find her and he said she was no doubt gone by now. He was just 10 days from being 80 when he passed and I often wonder if I have a German brother or sister out there and if the Lady knew that he still carried a torch in his heart for her until be passed. Someday, possibly I'll find the answer, but I feel that their love somehow connected their souls after they crossed over...we can only hope, right!?
A DNA kit from one of the ancestry companies would likely prove if you have a sibling (of course that’s if the potential sibling also used the dna test)
Not sure if a one month fling counts as "true love". True Love in my book, is the person that sticks with you thick and thin. This story ain't what it seems. He and she could have searched for each other easily afterwards. They didn't.

I love this so story so much, and feel so lucky because it also happened to me. My first love and I were united after 37 years apart (separated by circumstances at age 20, reunited at age 56). As he says, it is "a holy, blessed love" that we have cherished for 13 years now. He's had a quadruple bypass and this past year he's fought cancer. I just cherish each day and am grateful we were reunited.
Lost loves are beautiful when they reconnect. I reconnected with someone from high school (she was three grades below me) back in 2019. Neither one of us have ever married but now we are enjoying life every day. The last time we had bumped into each other was in 1983 but i was too shy to strike up a conversation.

I'm in a situation like this right now, & lets be honest, 95% or more of the time relationships of two people which start between countries can abruptly end with no outcome or closure. It isn't a happy ending, and usually everyone moves on to other relationships at best. We stand in 2023 where a huge percentage of people are looking for their next meal, not a resolution to a dear relationship from the past. Stories like this touch my heart too, but they have rarely happy outcomes. These people are truly blessed & should truly value it.
What a beautiful story how they finally got to see each other once again. Truth is that you never forget your first love, often your second and even third.

Wow. This is a prime example of when people get married and say they know EVERYTHING about their spouse. These two got married and had two different lives but still had love for each other. It also shows that just because you love someone doesn’t mean you’re meant to be with them. For them, the universe had other plans. I think things turned out the way it needed to. They have a beautiful love story; it’s something a lot of people, including myself, can’t say.

I think love was deeper and more meaningful at the time because you never knew if you'd ever see your lover again. Death was always so so near.
I cried when I saw this. How sad that they had to part again.
I'm 70 and I never fell out of love with the crazy boy I met at Summer Camp.
Beautiful!!!
