Trust me, once you've been under direct fire, everything else is minimal. This guy is a classic case of what the government doesn't tell it's citizens about what us vets are exposed to every day in a deployment

I am a 49 year old lawyer. I see this in many judges who are Catholics. They seem more laid back and try and balance justice and mercy. I see this in many Italian, Spanish and Portuguese courts.

As ex mil, the anxiety you feel when you're late for something never really goes away. It's ingrained to be on time, in good order. This Judge is a sensible, honourable, patient man.

@@connorspirasee6426, Unless it was the Seal Beach firing range. Show up at 0800 and stand around doing nothing until 1000. Why? There was a bird breeding ground and could not start to shoot until they were done screwing. Chief said we had to wait because there was not very many of the birds so they had to mate.
Told chief there's only 1 of me so I should not have to show up till 1000 so I can mate. LOL
From a veteran that also suffers with PTSD and depression, I empathize with this veteran and I applaud the graciousness of Judge Caprio.

I agree I'm a veteran and I suffer from the same I understand how dark life can become it's hard sometimes to cope. Someone just giving a little help helps a lot more than you think.

My dad is a Iraq war veteran too, he served in the infantry and nearly died multiple times. I love him a lot and I have a soft spot for veterans all around.
Afghan war veteran here (2011-2012). I too have a soft spot for those honorably served, distinguished or different, in all branches.
Almost all the men in my family served with honor in our military. My dad was USN and had a medical discharge. I wanted to be the first Marine in the family but body said no; my medical history gave me the boot during MEPS. I couldn't help but be honest with everything. It's how I was taught. Love our Vets and have actually bought a Vet dinner when I watched him eat alone, Told my waitress I wanted to pay for his meal and she complied; even covered a 30% tip for him. Just one way I know I can help a Vet out.

I was feeling so bad after the Vet described what he has gone through & it's still going through, but after Judge Caprio's kind honoring words. I just could not hold the tears 😭😭 Two honorable men.
He has PTSD after going to a Ziónist lobbied unjust war, killing innocent people! Imagine how the Iraqi children feel! He admitted that weapons causes radiation that gave him cancer .. and bombs so loud he lost some of his hearing .. I wonder how the Iraqi feels!

That Vet should have had everyone in the court room stand and salute him! He is truly a hero! He is taken care of by the V.A. and Judge Caprio took care of him in the most honorable way, dismissing his tickets and paying tribute to that Vet. Great job to the Vet and great job to Judge Caprio! I honor you both!
Why should everyone stand and salute him? That's blind military worship. I'm a veteran and would never expect anybody to that. Plus, I know this man.
i mean im proud that he served but that would have just been cringey. and most of the vets i know tell me its a little awkard for them when people constantly say thank you for your service and really harp on the fact that they were in the military

I love how respectful and honest the guy is towards Judge Caprio and how he calls him by his legal position.

This video just touched my heart today. I just got home yesterday for holiday block leave. For the past five months, I’ve been training at Fort Leonard Wood to be an active duty military police soldier. Even for the first couple of days after getting home from training, I felt very edgy and wound up. It was difficult for me to let my guard down and relax. With that said, I’m only a trainee and future MP. In three weeks once I get back, I’ll be graduated. With that said, I can’t imagine how difficult it is for that man to try to reintegrate and feel at place in the civilian world. It’s heart breaking, prayers for that man! And SGT, thank you for your service. I’d follow you as my team or squad leader any time anywhere, through hell and back brother 💪🏻
